Please specify what level and what area your character is on
Here are the floor plans to use as reference during this mission. While the rooms are stated with residential names, that does not mean that is what you will find in there. In headers, I'll be referring to locations with the following format [Actual Location - i.e. laboratory] (what it's called on the map). If you're confused, just copy from Novikova or Ray's header.
@Nallore: While one hostile was down, it wasn't exactly the time to talk. The other HYDRA agent was about to shoot Cassandra through the eye - they must have known about her powers! But we can be concerned about that later. In a hilarious bit of universal karma, the weapon was out of bullets and Cass was completely unharmed. The agent stared at her for a moment, incredulous. "Kennedy isn't here to help you, idiot!" they then hissed. The agent knew they wouldn't win in a hand to hand fight against Cassandra and that there was no getting off the bus, so they instead took the suicide pills all HYDRA agents carried on them and died. RIP HYDRA agent.
Foes will appear on the map once they are 'discovered.' Rooms will be noted once they have been cleared by the team as well.
Lee and Sami nodded, getting the communication from Tinley. But they were in Operations and as far as they were aware, this level hadn't been secured left. Immediately next to the doorway to the master suite was another room that had not yet been explored. The last thing they wanted to do was to head up to the higher levels, only to find themselves trapped and surrounded by hostiles. "Rhodes and I are going to clear more of the rooms on the west side," Lee said into his comm device. "Yeah...Yeah we'll do that," Sami added, a bit distracted - or perhaps nervous?
"I can accompany you, Agent Abercrombie," Nikolai said in an accented voice over the comm link as well. Novikova, of course, couldn't help but be curious when it came to the plans that Abercrombie found. She doubted that Abercrombie could read them properly, not knowing that the field commander apparently had a natural intuition when it came to these things. "I can examine those plans quickly now - or wait until we're back to base," Novikova offered. She couldn't help but feel relieved to hear that Tempest had healed herself - and no one else reported as injured, so Maria had to be fine.
Raynor then glanced back at Agent Sparks. She was a squishy scientist and wasn't fit for this sort of mission - not as much as the others. With Tinley wanting to press to the upper floors, he saw an opportunity. "Actually, have Sparks look over the plans - Novikova, your powers could be beneficial here," Raynor said - though truthfully, everyone's powers were equally useful here. "I'll go clear the east wing of this floor - company would be nice but is not required." He then held his hand in front of him, creating a little orb of light that followed along with him as he pressed forward, cockily not waiting to see if anyone came with him.
"...I'm with Abercrombie then," Novikova said, heading to meet Tinley outside of the library.
Present Day - The Castle: May 4th, 12,508 - 10:15 AM
@Nallore@mnkee@KazAlkemi@LadyRunic: There's good news and there's bad news. Good news is that Luna will manage to snap out of it fairly quickly, coming back to her senses and realizing what she had done. The voice is no longer in control of her, but who knows how long until Luna isn't Luna anymore again. Additionally, one of the Ordinary Wizards on bed rest went up and hobbled out, going to get Titan as Amarantha requested since they were short on help (Titan can arrive at the infirmary this post).
Between the efforts of Skaoi and Becky, Amarantha would be stabilized. Becky managed to administer the cure and thanks to Amarantha's prior exposure, she'll be on her feet soon enough. Lyra will notice what seems to be a hooded figure looking in through the infirmary window amongst the chaos. And Prince Stinky...He is in need of proper Physik. It seems he received the strongest dose. Magyk may be needed to save his life - where is the ExtraOrdinary Wizard when she's needed?
@LadyRunic: Esmerelda managed to reign in her temper, but Rhys' false words brought out fury in her. "Like I would tell you of all people what happened to my son!" she snapped. Her sweet boy - he didn't deserve any of this to happen and she detested the implication that she had abandoned him. "What have ya done to my Fayard?" she then asked him. "Fay's just a boy, ya asshole!" She was convinced that Rhys had done something to him and she wasn't about to say who his father was. This man was a stranger and now, by his words, likely a kidnapper.
@FantasyChic: Jezebel nodded, a bit reassured at Fleur's words but not quite convinced. She left the room, going to get Bernice and Bernice came back some moments later, tending to Constance. It seemed that Constance just needed to sleep for the moment. Fleur, if she wanted to, could do just about anything at the moment - yet she certainly won't feel like she wants to do much of anything, with the progression of her illness. At least things are calm otherwise. No one is bringing her any reports of impending doom for the Coven - yet.

Arya Rincewind
Location: Wizard Tower - 20th Floor
Arya chuckled slightly, giving Cuyler a soft smile. She was a true believer that one never ceased to learn lessons - education and the pursuit of knowledge was a lifelong task. Had this been another time, another century, she likely would have been a devout follower of the goddess Minerva - if not Trivia. And had she been born in the Land of Long Nights, Odin would have been a fitting patron. "What lesson will we learn in the Forest? Well..."
Arya closed the distance between them, bitting his bottom lip lightly. "Beyond learning if these herbs may be of any use from the Physik women, the Forest holds as many mysteries as it does dangers...Rumors of portals to other lands entirely...I am certain we can think of something to learn." She then kissed him again, her eyes closing slightly. The morning tea and its slight remedies were keeping her headache down at a dull ache. Kissing Cuyler was one of her methods of self medicating and proved to distract her from it.
She slipped her arms around his waist, running her fingers delicately on his clothed skin. She was not afraid of the Forest and it was almost the Summer Solstice - the nights were growing shorter each day and the Forest was only to be feared in the dark. She did not imagine that Fleur's Coven would be in the Forest, meaning only those rogue witches would be found. "Perhaps after we visit the Physik women, we can perform certain acts together...I imagine Atkin will be some time with the other apprentices. They've already started preparing for the Sled Race."
It was a tradition at the Castle. Each winter, all of those institutions with apprentices would select one to race a sled in a race. Wizard Tower and the Manuscriptorium tended to be the winners, locked in a constant struggle. The Boatyard, of course, also was respectable. And then there were the odd participants, such as the Dead Language's shop or Wizard Sandwiches.
Myrus Silvers
Location: the Palace - Attic
Myrus freaked out, muttering a quick prayer to the goddess Runa under his breath. She was supposed to be a protective goddess for lost souls and he certainly felt that he met that description as of late. "Baldur's daughter, granddaughter of the eternal flame, and mistress of lies...Help guide me in this perilous time," he whispered. He quickly pulled down his sleeve and put his red cloak back on, but the bleeding was too severe to be properly hidden from Valda and she had inadvertently cut off his exit.
"H-h-hey Valda..." Myrus said, putting his arm behind his back yet underneath his cloak, in an attempt to hide it. He stayed back in the dark part of the attic, trying to limit Valda's view of him. He hadn't anticipated that his sister would come up into the attic looking for him. Truthfully, he didn't know that Valda even knew where the attic was at the Palace. She hadn't lived there relatively long and he had assumed it was a safe hiding spot, especially since it was filled with cobwebs that he was certain would terrify Luna.
"Valda..." a ghostly voice then whispered in the Queen's ear. "Myrus..." the voice then whispered in Myrus' ear and he shuddered, but he couldn't see anywhere there. He just felt as if an immense cold draft had blown into the attic. "Stay safe, little ones..."
Antonije Magnisky
Location: Number 40 Alchemie Way - the Basement ---> Living Room
Antonije was just laughing, looking at his little princess that couldn't handle the cold. "Alright, мала принцеза," he said with a smirk. He was used to people telling him that he was mean and he figured that Sylvi was just teasing him - and he did quite enjoy teasing her. However, he got the sense that Myth would be irritated if he didn't get out of bed soon. "Stay down here if you want, Silvija, but I'm going upstairs."
He had gotten himself dressed and wasn't currently shivering under a blanket, before he flashed her a charming smile and headed for the attic stairs. He emerged upstairs and was able to catch the second half of Myth's conversation with Bruce, noticing that his sisters had gone back to play with their devices. "Yeah, Tetka?" he asked Myth, avoiding looking at Bruce. "And shouldn't he be the one getting things ready? No offense, but you look about ready to pop and he's a freaking god."
"You are getting a bit fat, Mama," Marya informed Myth. Myth's morning sickness would now be feeling pretty severe - (post needs to reflect this) - and she'll want to likely sit down or lie on the floor and curl up or something. Either way, Bruce is going to be having to handle the housework for the moment.
The Sea: The Aricie - Nearing the Port
The Aricie was a vessel crafted in the Lagoon, earning coin for its owners by shuttling passengers all around the world. It primarily made the long trip from the Land of Long Nights all the way down to the the Southern Islands of the Many Shining Seas (what we would call Jamaica today). Along the way, it made stops in the Lost Land, the Lagoon, the Small Wet Country Across the Sea, the True North, and the Big Wild Land Over the Ocean to name a few.
On the ship, there was an assortment of people. Some had gone to see the sights in one of the countries along the way. Some were dignitaries going to have diplomatic appointments yet were not important enough to receive a private vessel. On the top deck, people were milling around, minding their own business, and a young individual with short blonde hair stood gazing out across the sea. The port was beginning to come into view and they could not help but be excited.
The ship's captain walked up to the girl, tapping her on the back. "Aye, lass? Ya never been to England - I mean, the Small Wet Country before, now have ya?"
Ellie raised an eyebrow at the telepathic group chat that Charles was proposing. Despite having walked off, she could still hear all of them. Her thoughts were largely in French - so if she thought up a message to a person, they'd likely hear it in French once and then her mental translation into botched English. It didn't seem like it'd be the most effective of systems for her and she wondered if Erik would have a similar challenge, but with German. Of course, it also brought up the fact that Charles could read their minds whenever he wanted. Ellie didn't exactly like that to start with.
She started making plans of her own. Pulling the marble out of her pocket, she thought it over for a second. If she controlled the speed of the marble when she threw it at any guard, she'd kill them easily. Those traveling with her throughout the facility wouldn't be able to stop her. She was the muscle and she was going to enact a scorched earth policy. She wasn't going to show any mercy. Mercy was for children.
Location: His Apartment - Seattle, Washington Interacting With: Olivia, Janelle
Scott continued to stare at Olivia, wishing that she'd just disappear - and then she did. He was alone again in his apartment and he let out a huffy breath. He didn't care that Olivia didn't trust him and he grabbed his glass of water, the glass shattering in his hand as he gripped it too tightly. As much as he didn't want to give a fuck about any of this, he didn't want that little girl to get hurt. "God fucking damn it..." Scott muttered. He ran some hot water over his hand and grabbed a towel, before he grabbed his phone and dialed Janelle's number.
He hoped that she answered and not her annoying brother. But at any rate, the least he could do is tell the blind sweetheart that someone was apparently trying to kill their kind. He hated think of that - their kind. It felt incredibly othering and contrary to the truth - that the universe was getting bored and decided to spice things up a bit in their lives. His telekinesis wasn't a gift or a curse - it just was. "Janelle? It's Scott. You're in danger, kiddo," he said into the phone.
Jenna saw the ghosts aimlessly drifting, wondering how exactly they had died. She figured that it had to be some sort of mine collapse. Those sort of things tended to happen in mining towns. People went into the mines for an ordinary day's work and never were seen alive again. Those first twenty four hours after the collapse were critical - anyone not found then would end up dead. There was no more chilling laughter and she wasn't certain if that was a good sign or not. "Lydia...I'm leaving Red Lake after this all is over," Jenna told her cousin quietly.
"I'm going to go meet my birth father and then I'm running away...I'm almost an adult, so I can work as an aide to a private eye somewhere...Get my license after that," she told her cousin. "You're the only one I'm going to miss, I think...Declan and Finley, they hate me now. So they're dead to me." She then stopped talking, just continuing to walk forward down the path.
Location: Carlisle (borderline between F8 and F7) Skills: Nakai, Pavati
Virginia heard Mary's declaration that she had taken out the fifth Ryne of the group and there was a slight smile on her face. She was glad to hear that her friend was once again making great achievements when it came to butchering the undead. Of course, it was a pity that the Soulless had to be killed - they were fascinating creatures - but the dark forces had to be combated just as much as Virginia wished to join them. It was a perplexity duality of thought for the Crypt family. Continuing to utilize her trained skills, Virginia swung her axe at the nearest Ryne.
In one graceful and fluid motion, her axe penetrated its neck and emerged on the other side, the Ryne dropping to the ground as its head was separated from its body. She flexed her fingers slightly. The number of remaining Rynes was becoming smaller and smaller, with only two currently in their immediate vicinity. Of course, she had no knowledge of how many more Rynes awaited them - and if Carlisle was not instead infested with them rather than being under attack by a small number. "Six," she announced to Mary with a smirk.
Maeve took comfort in Father O'Reily's speed, glad that Roisin would be out of this mess and that he would protect her with his life. She knew that her little rose would blossom in Rome and come into full bloom. It was a relief as well to know that she would receive a proper education, despite her disability. That was what Maeve had always wanted for dear Roisin - for her to live as normal a life as anyone else. And a better one than others as well - for Roisin to rise above what her family had accomplished and become something more.
With her shillelagh in her arm and ready to strike with it, Maeve moved forward. She recognized Lady Kirkpatrick's technique, having trained in that skill herself, and knew to be ready for just about anything. She did not have the ability to take on a trait of a Celtic god herself, yet she was focused and ready for anything. The time to contemplate her attraction to Callum could wait. Roisin was safe - now it was time to rid the world of a few more Soulless.
Location: The Ferry - Elite Deck (Personal Cabin) ---> the Second Deck (Dining Area) Skills: N/A
Nora had spent a bit longer getting refreshed for supper than she had expected. It was mostly because she had yet to be quite alone since Neema's passing and, raised with a stiff upper lip as most Brits are, she had not afforded herself a proper cry yet. She had spent a few minutes just grieving for Neema, someone who she had known for such a short time but connected with more than she had her own parents. By the time she had finished drying her tears and had made herself ready for supper, Lady Munn and George had set down the stairs.
"Maybe they'll have tea," Nora muttered to herself, before she left her cabin and went down the stairs through the various points until she reached the dining area. George and Lady Munn were already there and Nora could not help but feel bad for missing her appointed meeting with Lady Munn. That was rather impolite of her. "I must apologize. I...I must have lost track of time whilst preparing for supper," Nora said quietly, taking a seat down next to Lady Munn. She hoped that her new friend would forgive her.
Gene Benaszewski
Location: The Ferry - Second Deck: Personal Cabin --> Dining Area Skills: N/A
Gene had embraced her brother back, only mildly perplexed by his reaction. He truthfully seemed to be quite fond of Lady Munn, despite both he and Gene knowing that time was not on his side. She supposed that she could remind him of that and caution him - yet with Peter's death and the news she had had to break to him, perhaps he needed something to protect and be fond of for a moment. It was a sort of attachment she could understand in the abstract, those of romantic nature. She never felt those feelings towards another person.
She left her cabin a few moments later, having intentionally decided to give George some alone time with the apple of his eye, before she then headed to the dining area. She was getting a bit peckish and since she was joining them on this exhibition, she wanted to know the details. Coming into the dining area, she noted that her brother was there with his possible infatuation and another woman - Lady Kingston, she recalled. Taking a seat next to George, Gene pulled out a sweet from her pocket and started unwrapping it. She didn't care if she spoiled her appetite. "So Lady Munn, what's this adventure of yours then? And I want in on it, of course. I may be tiny but I'm made of tougher stuff than you'd expect."
Professor Walnut took a moment, noticing the warmth that seemed to glide underneath her feet. She smiled slightly, realizing what it must have meant. This sort of technology - well, it was difficulty to come by and incredibly rare. The people of Shadowell Manor seemed to be at the forefront of scientific achievement and engineering design. With their secluded location and air of mystery, Professor Walnut had not quite known what to expect - yet this was a haven. Her head turned slightly as she heard the bell, knowing what it must have meant.
Were these the true guests of Shadowell Manor about to arrive? She could not help but wonder if she would hear the sound of a gunshot, yet with all of the security, she doubted any unwelcome visitor would have made it farther than the gates. A notion slipped into her head as something pushed its way into her memory and she glanced at Titian for a moment. "I wonder who that could be..." Yet with the relative privacy the two enjoyed, Walnut took a step forward and whispered something into Titian's ear that she was certain would excite him.
Location: Ville au Camp - the Gate --> Outside of the Kitchen House Skills: N/A
Andromeda took another breath, looking at the caravan of vehicles. She felt something like a spiritual itch the more she watched them and she knew that it wasn't a good idea for her mentally. The more she looked at the circus that was about to set itself up, the more her mind flashed back to her final days alive. James and Gilbert had already gone inside, so Andromeda forced herself to follow after Faith and Sophia to the kitchen house. She couldn't dwell on her past - she knew that. It didn't matter that training was over - she still needed to keep up and follow through on those lessons as best as she could.
She knew that Sophia had asked Faith, but Andromeda couldn't help but wonder that as well. She hadn't seen a deviation like that in the loop before. "...I think it might have something to do with Eve's impromptu vacation," Andromeda admitted. She didn't know nearly as much as the Emendators did, but it made sense to her. Eve leaving was the largest change so far and now there was a circus troupe. "Maybe Eve sent them here..."
