Dear Mr Curly,
I have done little travelling lately because I have been so dreadfully weary. Can it be true as the old Ecclesiastes said; that all things lead to weariness? Surely not. Perhaps the opposite is true: that all nothings lead to weariness. I have a peculiar feeling, Curly, that I am worn out from something I haven't yet done and the more I don't do it, the more exhausted I become. How strange. Could it be something I haven't realised? Perhaps it's something I haven't said? Something I haven't finished! It must be very large and true whatever it is and a lively struggle in the doing but I look forward to it immensely. I know I need it. First, however, I must curl up in my chair and sleep deeply with the duck. Perhaps I'll dream of this thing and wake up refreshed and do it. My fond wishes to you Mr. Curly, and to all Curly Flat.
Yours sleepily,
Vasco Pyjama

P.S. Not having breakfast can make you weary. That's for sure!

@Slime Personally, I've been only using pictures I've made myself.

I think the rule of thumb we established was 'try not to get the wiki copywrite-blammed.'

If in doubt, don't use the picture in the wiki. Linking to a post here on RPGuild with the relevant image should be fine though.
@Lauder "What we gonna do on the bed, Tauga-kun?" *clonkf*
@Vec I think the current extent of hain mating details is limited to a picture of a nervous anime girl saying "snake cloacas" with a chronic stutter.

I think I'll go with 'bird like,' point to their biological draw towards polyamoury, and leave the rest to the imagination.

Something else to consider is that Majus' mating habits haven't been documented either. I've spent five minutes thinking about this and decided that no one would have the patience to walk Majus through the process.

@Cyclone Sort of and they do have other worship. That's got a longer answer that I will give you when I get home from uni today. Sit tight.

those arm proportions holy cow i need help

Actually, given my description of hain, they aren't as bad as you'd think. The first picture is probably more accurate, though.
Ed: It actually took me several months to realise how much of Tauga's design is based on the faithful Darth Vader. Distinctive breathing mask, dark suit, tall, invisible sensory powers, excellent flying skills, personality shift following trauma, charismatic lieutenant of a far more shadowy being, takes no shit...

It's a match made in heaven honestly

Awesome pics. I'm glad a hain has finally got a proper picture that isn't a Magic: The Gathering myr.

Is this the part where we contrive a character for Tauga to tragically fall in love with so she can have a kid that redeems her upon her deathbed and we can go full circle?
Rhazii whined out a protesting, wavering whine and bark in response to Julan's judgement. When Julan looked over Rhazii, he tilted his head in turn, curious of what he was thinking.

To the next words, Rhazii understood just enough them to stand up and wag his tail. For no conceivable reason but the fun of it, Rhazii bolted off to run around a pair of glowing mushrooms and galloped back up to Kaj-Julan. He stopped with his chin on the ground, his ears pert, and his eyes looking up expectantly. Rhazii could certainly still play, though his idea of fun was distinctly rooted more in the mind of a young wolf than a Khajiit. For one time in what was a very rare occurance, Julan was the more level and mature one.

With the mix of physical activity, a meal, and the recent stress his mind had been under, Rhazii was soon curled up napping nearby to the milling back. His ears were tall, but quirked to the sides reflexively when someone made a sound around him.

Fendros had transformed back as well. He approached Ahnasha and put an arm around her waist, holding her to his side and looking at their sleeping son. "Hm, well, it wasn't exactly the plan tonight. But, he showed some reflexes and attentiveness, even if his beast spirit became a bit too excited at times. I think whoever told us that natural-born lycans have better control was right." He exhaled. "At any rate, he'll soon learn better control and awareness. I doubt he'll forget to leave wisps alone after this, at the very least."

When Fendros was nearing the end of his sentence, Rhazii began to wrinkle and contract. Still curled up, his fur receded back into its natural brown with its sparse patches around his scars. Soon, he was shrunk back into his Khajiit form, half the size of his beast form and with his now feline tail brushing back and forth along the dirt.

"Good timing." Fendros looked at Ahnasha and smiled. "Shall we wake him up?"
So, let me try to understand this.

Attila united a horde to dominate the north and plunder the hell out of the world-spanning empires that were western and eastern Rome, full of riches, fertile land, and so on.

Are the hordes of the golden plains uniting for a similar reason?
@Antarctic Termite You say this, but I learned most of my classical/ancient history from a mix of one unit at public school, TV documentaries I watched as a kid, and Age of Empires I. I may as well be a scholar on the Lord of the Rings universe.
Rhazii sat down leaning forward in front of Julan. Getting scratched behind the ear was causing him to tilt his head to one side and squint one eye.

The multiple questions would have been hard to approach in his regular form with how quickly they came out in succession, but Rhazii's beast was still firmly in the forefront of his mind. He looked at Julan and whined out a dubious sound that ended with a soft bark. It was only then that his eyes widened slightly and he sat up straighter. Opening his large, sharp-toothed mouth, he breathed in and craned his head forward. He was still for a few seconds, and then made a high whine that warped to a stop when he closed his mouth. He tried again, opening his mouth. This time, the whine was preceded by a cough. He lowered his head, unsure.

Finally, Rhazii brought his head up to look at Kaj-Julan and moved it from side to side. He couldn't speak like his parents in this form. At least not yet.
I am not overly bothered by the numbers right now. However, it's looking like those kinds of armies are fielded after a huge unification effort. Either via forming an empire or uniting loads of nomads over a long span of time.

Over in Yorum, I'm currently working on city states having no more than several hundred to one or two thousand men in an army at most. That'll get bigger as we go if they unite, but proportional to the population of each one, it wouldn't make sense for it to be higher.
