Ashton, Riley, Niesha

Location: The Hordebuster
Skills: Engineer (Ash), Mechanic (Ash)

Riley watched Ashton splatter onto yet another walker, it's been what twelve or more now since they all managed to get out of Newnan, and ran over a walker and still fighting over control to stay in a straight line. Riley leaned forward as she looked down at the map that Niesha had managed to pool out. She hadn't the slightest clue on how to read a map, she looked over towards any roads signs before looking at Niesha. "So do you know how to read a map?" Riley asked looking at her for a moment wondering if she actually did or not.

Ash fought the urge to facepalm. Not because he didn't want to directly insult the only two people he knew for a fact survived Newnan (though he did not), but because his driving, as they said back in Officers' Training, "Blew The Big Sausage" and he wanted to keep both hands on the wheel. Luckily, he knew a route to the bugout point. He ought to, being as he was one of the people who helped to set it up. He had hoped that maybe one of these two women knew enough to guide him to a secondary route if it was necessary. This day and age, it might very well be necessary what with the painful death of everyone associated with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Luck was with him, or at least didn't smack him with a cinderblock this time. Ash steadied himself, pressed onward, and piloted the Hordebuster up the length of Jefferson. He breathed an actual sigh of relief as he traversed the thoroughfare, and damn near thanked God for his mercy as he turned northwest onto Sprayberry Rd. Stoic as ever, he mumbled, "Anybody know where that bottle went to?"

Settling herself as Ash seemed to be driving fine now, Niesha let out a soft sigh of relief, setting the map between them. She pulled her knees up to her chest once more, wrapping her arms around them, and leaning her head on her knees.

She gave a small shrug, "I think I put it back in the bag" She said softly, shifting to check, "Or did I give it to you Riley?"

Riley leans forward slightly as she watched Ash driving, it seemed to be going straight now which was good, she didn't have to worry about dying in some kind of crash for now. Riley ran a hand through her hair slightly as she looked towards him for a moment, when he asked where the bottle was. Riley looked at Niesha as well and gave a slight nod and turned around as she leaned forward where she had set the bottle. "It's down here." Riley said as she reached for it and then handed it over towards Niesha.

"So should one of us start navigating?" Riley asked looking at Niesha who had the map, she didn't mind doing it if she was asked to read the map. "And once we get to the location whats the plan when we get there?" Riley asked, she didn't really have a clue what the bugout plan was once they got to their intended destination before moving again.

The Hordebuster rolled smoothly down Sprayberry Rd, in drastic contrast to the recent misadventures they had all experienced with dumptruck off-roading. Ash even managed to get in a little extra practice with fine control, shifting from lane to lane to lane to avoid obliterating the random dead person wandering in the direction of Newnan. He had remained quiet for the majority of the time they were on Jefferson and Sprayberry, but did speak up as they neared an obstacle in their path. It was an accumulated snow pack that the sun didn't seem to have touched very much.

"I have a good idea where to go right now. I need alternate routes, just in case. We're on Sprayberry Rd, coming up on some train tracks a little ways out of Newnan proper." His words were solid, basic, and without emotion. While he spoke, his eyes were transfixed on the scene outside. There were a couple of the Dead milling about, and that high drift of snow he couldn't quite see around. He hoped he wouldn't have to leave the vehicle, hoped even more no one else did, either. But he wasn't one hundred percent sure that plowing through this was the best idea, given the circumstances. Though backtracking now would waste precious time. The sun would be down in the next couple of hours. "The plan is to arrive, secure any supplies we can, and wait for other survivors. But first, we've got to deal with that."

Retrieving the map, Niesha settled back down where she was, watching as they continued on. As once more there seemed to be an obstacle to their path,
and not Ash's driving, Niesha frowned and sighed, opening the map. "If we can clear the walkers,we can have a quick look, see if we can get through, but there could be walkers in the snow... "
the thought of getting out wasn't pleasant, but she knew they'd have to if there was no other option.

"I got arrows, we can stab the snow."

Riley listened to the plan, wait once they got to their destination and wait for any survivors and grab whatever supplies that were there, which sounded like a good plan to her. She then looked at the large snow drift that was before them, she thought for a moment as she looked at the walkers that were outside, before turning her attention back towards the map that was on Niesha's lap for a moment. Getting out wasn't the best idea, in her opinion and also to put into account the snow drift itself could have walkers inside if they tempted to try and clear a way through there.

"We could try turning back on Jefferson Street and head north east on that road until we can find an alternate route towards the tracks? I'm not that keen on getting out, anymore then we have to, or just plow through the snow itself? It's your call bossman." Riley suggested, looking towards Ashton, he was on the wheel after all and knew the area better then she did.

"I don't like it." said Ash, pressing on the brake. The Hordebuster slowed to a ponderous stop, its engine still humming despite the lack of forward momentum. They had precious little dayight left to properly navigate these roads, and he hoped to get them to their bugout point before nightfall. "This much buildup left during a thaw. Don't like it. But we need to get around this." He pulled his .45 and large knuckle duster knife from his belt, carefully considering his options. He peered ahead and around, taking note of where the Dead were located. "We have my sidearm, bow, and a good knife, plus whatever is in the bugout bag and whatever you two have. I'm going to go out and take a look. I'll need someone to cover me, and someone to keep the truck ready to roll. Are we good?"

Niesha nodded, shifting to retrieve her bow, and the arrows she had. "I can cover you, if that's okay... " She said, glancing to Riley, before she looked out the hoardbuster once more. "Do you think its a trap?" she asked, glancing to Ash. She didn't have any idea what was a right or wrong snow drift, but if Ash was worried, she was willing to be a little paranoid.

Riley watched Ashton moving the Buster a little bit forward, until it came to a complete stop she was getting a weird feeling about it as well. She ran a hand through her hair letting out a slight sigh as Ashton said he was getting out, looking down towards her pack. She had her sidearm, along with Chloe's after she shot herself as well as her crossbow, looking towards Niesha, and shrugged slightly. "I can keep the ride warm for you guys, and if you need me just yell." Riley said as she reached over for her pack and handed Niesha a Baretta just in case she needed it. "Just in case you do need it." Riley said to her, and looked towards Ashton, and gave him a nod.

"Might just be a fallen tree," Ash began, shifting his knife into an underhanded grip and raising his .45 pistol. Fingers curled around the door handle, cracking it open slightly. "or a car. Snow's funny about gathering in drifts. But yeah, could be a trap. Only I don't think someone's going to be manning a roadblock with the weather lately." His voice seemed distracted, distant somehow. It could be that he was still scanning his surroundings. There were a few of the Dead around the area, nothing that couldn't be dealt with though, so long as it stayed just a few.

It was probably nothing. Ash could very likely have been just fine pushing the Hordebuster through whatever this thing was, and they could be on their way. But that was a last resort option. He had to get himself and what few of his people he could help to the bugout point. That was his mission at present. This thing was just an obstacle in his path. "Don't use bullets unless you have to." he advised Niesha. Let's give this a look on the quiet and get back on our way."[/color] Ash slipped out of the Hordebuster and onto the ground below, his boots making quiet crunching sounds in the snow beneath them. He began to make a wide arc around the obstacle, but before he got very far a foot slid to one side and he went down to a knee. The sound of scraping gravel and ice drew the notice of two nearby Dead, who began to approach with a shuffling, snarling gait. "...damnit." growled Ash quietly, carefully rising to his feet.

Carolina Reed

Location: The Lab, Stairwell

Carolina yelped loudly when Richard suddenly reached over to her and started to struggle slightly as she felt the barrel of a gun held to her cheek. She thought about using her ability on him, either to simply possess him, or to put the suggestion in his head to release her Carolina watched as Nina started to take a few steps closer towards her. Carolina felt very fearful that he would end up shooting her, it was really risky. Then Nina launched forward managing to knock the gun out of his hand, still holding the virus in her hand Carolina watched Marygold go in for the kill and knocking Magneto out with the filing cabinet.

She then found herself on the other side of the room with Nina and the virus she was grateful for not being held captive by the man. Guin firing an icer round at Scarlet Witch, and Cecily making a run for the elevator along with Richard. It seemed that everything was wrapping up now, which she was glad they managed to secure the virus and destroy the work. Carolina eyed Richard for a moment as she looked towards Marygold and the others for a moment wondering what their plans were for him, he was about to get away as Guin started to relay their message that they had the virus and the mission was complete.

Cassandra Reed

Location: The Lab (First Floor)

Cassandra watched as Ayita was taking on Avalanche, shed help her but she didn't have any abilities to take on the mutant who could most likely just shake her apart. She watched Toad managed to get out of the way after leaving a few bunches on the mutant's face her eyes wondering over towards yet a newcomer as she got ready to attack them. Then Cassandra froze for a moment pressing a hand to her ear piece as she heard Guin's voice on the other end.

The mission was a success now they just needed to get the virus away and secured, Cassandra looked towards Avalanche, Toad, and Othelo eyeing them. "Magneto's defeated, and we have the virus I suggest you stand down." Cassandra said towards them, there were three of them on each side, she really hoped that the remaining Brotherhood would stand down.

Mariana Garcia

Location: Room 307 - Hunter Hotel, Omaha, Nebraska
Interacting With: Robin Ramirez & Aloise Zamora@Morose

Mariana looked towards Aloise for a moment when she said that they weren't that far from meeting Hel at her location, she had heard of Springfield from other hunters. She didn't want to step foot in that place, but she didn't really have a choice to, running a hand through her hair looking over towards Robin. "I guess we should stalk up on some salt." She said, as her cousin walked over towards Aloise, she winced and flinched when Robin yanked the arrow out of the fellow hunter.

Before Robin wrapped it up Mariana grabbed a nearby beer bottle and poured some of the alcohol onto the wound so that it wouldn't get infected. Mariana thought about either staying the night here or moving out now to their assigned location, crossing her arms over her chest as she eyed the two other ladies for a moment. "I say we plan out here, I don't trust her location and dunno if she has some deadies being the goddess of death and all that in her ear around there if we plan to betray her. Sound good to you two?" Mariana asked eyeing both her cousin and Aloise.
