Powers
PLASMA MANIPULATION: Ryuu Yamauchi is able to create plasma out of thin air and utilize them to his own will. This plasma has the potential to sear through non-organic targets, but is particularly blunt against organic targets. Ryuu’s plasma, however, is at its strongest when it is infused with an object. Once infused, Ryuu will be able to tear through many things. Ryuu usually infuses his plasma with his lightsaber. When given enough time to charge plasma, Ryuu can potentially create large shockwaves of plasma that shatter moderately powerful defenses.
CRYSTAL MANIPULATION: A power that the original Ryuu did not have (Unique ability to this particular Ryuu). Ryuu is able to generate pristine white crystals. This power seems to be strangely related to holy energy, but the otaku himself is unable to control this energy from emanating from the crystals he makes. When exposed to magic auras without actually touching the magic itself, the crystals may change color and allows Ryuu to create something similar to said magic with his skill level. The crystals may also be infused with plasma, meaning that he can change the type of damage his plasma blade deals. Crystal Manipulation is also useful for Ryuu’s defense, as he can create a crystal armor infused with plasma when he truly needs it.
Weaknesses
LIKE MEETS LIKE: Ryuu’s plasma can collide against hot objects, as well as other hot entities such as fire, plasma, and etc.
DEATH: Though Ryuu does not fear death, he fears the deaths of innocent people (in reality). He will avoid facing opponents to his fullest extent until he is sure that he can fight them in an area without innocent bystanders.
RANGE: Ryuu’s ranged attacks are nearly always outclassed by other ranged magic unless he charges his power.
WOMEN: Self-explanatory. This goes in many ways.
Personality
Ryuu looks and frequently acts like the local gangster. He has quite the arrogant mouth to those he considers to have the potential to be threatening towards him, and he contains a particularly strange mind that distorts the essence of situations he enjoys into something nonsensical. Though he may be arrogant, he has the tendency to think extremely quickly due to his experience of surviving alone. He will not hesitate in plummeting towards doom to save someone; a particular trait that never belonged to his previous iteration.
He absolutely loves anime and manga, and goes crazy whenever something lewd appears before him. Ryuu’s case of photophobia causes him to wear sunglasses nearly all the time. He takes them off sometimes, but only when he can without hurting his eyes.
Background
Ryuu Yamauchi was torn away from his alliance. Shortly after being deemed as a student killed-in-action, minor news broke out with information on him escaping an organization that captured him under the orders of Hell. Some believed it to be false news, some believed it fully and sought him out, only to find nothing related to him. Either way, Ryuu was not remembered well by most students who survived the war, as his supposed death occurred very early on the battle.
Five years has passed since then.
In the debris of a silent and abandoned laboratory, a man emerged from a capsule, not knowing where he was, or what he was doing. This man was set free by an unknown figure who paid the destroyed lab one last visit.
This man was also Ryuu Yamauchi. Though his name may be Ryuu, however, his memories were not like that of the original Yamauchi.
Knowing nothing about the war that erupted five years ago, Ryuu realized that he was in a jacket, jeans, and had some sort of toy strapped onto a belt. He was left with a single note that lay on the floor.
“RUN”
And Ryuu ran from the decimated laboratory. After he eventually learned about the land he was on, he fled to Oasari, where he still remained unsure of his purpose. He knew he had a family to protect, but he did not know who they were. Everything felt disconnected to him, but he remained strong for reasons unknown even to him.
He still remains strong, even without knowing what he should truly be strong for. And he will unintentionally wander into the path of the original Yamauchi and achieve something extraordinary.
