I can't think of anything to do to further this without it being clearly contrived. Elly isn't going to stumble again, and while he does have childish curiosity (impeccable mannerisms or not, he's still 12), I can't think of any way to utilise that that makes sense. D:
Maybe he saw the fight with Ma'at, or at least the end.

Because avatars. The avatars that we upload signify which character we're using at a given moment. For example, right now on Mammalia I have Ruby's picture. Balance had Ma'at's picture. I'm about to switch out whizzball1's picture of Spirit to a picture of Elkepzel and use him. If we just switched avatars on the same account, that would be confusing because earlier posts on the same page would be unintelligible. So instead of that we switch accounts. Problem solved. That's why we were asking for you to change your avatar to that of the Suit.
And because Accelerator looks cool.
