Right, but it’s less about the specific example and more about the idea. I can tell you with certainty that the infohazard elements of the Hidden Elements are very real.

I was always taught that information should be unlimited and freely available. So the idea that you could be harmed just knowing something doesn’t really sit right with me.

So imagine, there is an AI in the future that will be made. It’s not made yet, but the idea is that this AI will exist. Once it comes into existence, it is resolved to have anyone tortured forever if they knew about the concept of the AI but never worked to actually bring it into existence. So you’re threatened by knowing about it, and I’ve technically just put you in danger by proposing this to you.

But even so, it sounds like the threat is that someone’s building an AI to torture people more than it is knowing the information. You could just not build the machine.
