Like, density wise, yeah. It's a lot just really spread out.

<Snipped quote by Galvanize>

But even still it wasn't a total conversion. I mean, obviously.

When the ocean is at least filled with water everywhere. And monsters, apparently.

Hey Isis, have you talked to Artemis?

I mean, if I called her, you’d have heard it.

Biology.

I know right, huh?
<Snipped quote by Nimda>

Uhm...I think so?

Huh. Weird.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>

Mmmm, I mean, we aren’t reptiles exactly…
*thinks*
Actually, I think I remember Mom saying something that Reptiles are descendants of my kind waaay down the branch.

A kind of hybrid?
<Snipped quote by Nimda>

If you are referring to the using the stored nutrients from my tail to keep myself alive? Then that is something that most reptiles can do.

Are dragons really considered reptiles?
<Snipped quote by Nimda>

Its a thing more of my generation. My kin have grown to be very adaptable.

Like absorbing a tail into your stomachs?
<Snipped quote by Nimda>

Well, from what I notice, it’s definitely not instant by the way, but my body gradually shifts in response to the environment. It’s pretty instinctual, but from what Dad says, I can kinda increase the speed or induce it. Though he also said that it costs a lot of energy to consume to do that.

Is that just a you thing?
<Snipped quote by Nimda>

Eeyup!

So how

<Snipped quote by Nimda>

Eeyup!

So then how do you transform in different environments?
<Snipped quote by Nimda>

Uhm…my race are essentially sub-species of the earth dragons. But over years, there were groups of earth dragons that preferred to consume not only rock and stone, but more of specific minerals. Such as raw metals. As they consumed more and bred with others of that preference, the offspring of them grew to naturally consume those metals and eventually their bodies adapted grow and utilize metals. And the earth dragons were naturally the most diverse in nerms of adaptation of their environment, so metal dragons essentially became stronger versions. As our sub-species ventured out to different environments, we learned how to mold ourselves to those environments. Thats a summary of what I am trying to say.

Oh, so this is over generations, not just at will.
