<Snipped quote by Nimda>
We have to.
Like physically, or with consequences if you don’t?
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
We have to.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
Secret society in that there is a blood contract to not disclose trade secrets, but the ties end there. That's essentially what I'm getting at.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
Yup. Kind of like how "normal" people don't care about the history and culture of "normal" societies don't usually care about history all that much. Some do, most don't.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
Well, everyone would be constantly working to unearth history and mysteries and sharing knowledge and resources.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
Then why are metals in it with the name “Elements”? Huh? Yeah!
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
If everyone had the resolve Rythian had about it all, there would be much more of a community and full-on secret society thing going on.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
Not always. Not everyone wants to learn, but he at least provides a helping hand when asked.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
Right. But, with all that said, that's part of what Rythian does. Not just helping the IA, but he also tries to help out everyone like us as well. Trying to string together some sense of community and group identity.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
Periodic Table of Elements. I thought you were a science gal!
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
Are there metals in the periodic table?
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
Too many options.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
I do, but I wouldn’t know what I could do.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
A lot of dragons can manipulate elements.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
No, they really don't gang together like that. We're all bound by ties to the elements, but besides that we're all just people living our own lives dealing with our own problems and such. A bad person with ties to the elements doesn't just make them a sworn enemy to us, nor does it make them sworn by some evil contract to side with other bad people.
