No one would know the difference. It’s more worrisome to them that someone just poofed into reality next to them, apologized for something, then poofed back out. Bonus points if you’re not specific about what you’re apologizing for, and they’re left wondering what the magic girl did.

It’s just jarring I’m sure. Harmless, like you say, but weird. Weirder still that you could probably keep going and they'd just get the weird feeling without knowing what happened. You’re probably too fast for them to even know you’re there, until you stop to apologize.
