Alright, I realize how stupid that idea is but I just really wanted to write it down somewhere. Although, building on this idea, what would you guys say to instead 'invading' a dead RP, as in, finding a dead RP and taking over the bodies of the current characters as different characters and acting out what you would realistically do if you suddenly woke up as some guy in an RP where time has stopped?
I don't really know how fun that would be, but the point is, does this idea have merit?
Again, same problem. An RP that may be quiet may not necessarily be dead depending on what the situation is with the GM(s) and the members. There could be a reason why it's quiet for a designated part of time (holiday, Uni, maybe it's a relaxed RP with no designated timeframe) and taking over could come across as an unwanted hijack.
Not to mention you would also be breaking many roleplaying rules in general. God-modding, auto, metagame, possible lorebreak, power-play, mary-sues, the list could go on.
When in doubt just talk to the GM about their RP and if they are willing to allow you to continue it, than it's all good, but until that time it may be safer to not invade.
Note: Mahz, from memory, may also be introducing a whitelisting feature to prevent people jumping into an RP without approval, so that'd kill this idea in the future anyways.

Just watching some Speedrun Videos at the moment. Saw a guy finish Duke Nukem 3D in 15 minutes... which is just madness. :P
Aside from some serious emotional blackmail that I received last night I'm actually pretty good. The weather has been awesome so I've been taking my dog for walks down the canal and cracking on with some sketches

I usually have glimpses of ideas or plots, but have no desire, almost ever, to GM. Because I have no leadership skills.
Remind me to thank my rp partners for dragging my arse along, later.
Yeah, maybe I'll have a look at the 1x1s again. Dunno, Just like working with a few other people but not sure.
Just a few of the ideas (brainstorming and such, and inform you guys) would consist of some of these:
- A mad max inspired RP. (Post-apocalyptic world where people have become tribal with machines, almost like a steampunk one)
- Love to do a Hotline Miami like RP but that would be so hard to create
- A Sci-Fi/tech RP where people are drawn into a computer (Like Persona 4 or Tron) and explore a digital world, but maybe the digital world spills out to the real world, and I was thinking about incorporating powers or something so that when they log in they can imagine attributes (Matrix or Inception style). Maybe a virus breaks out and infects the world causing it to slowly erase and glitch out of existence. I at least thought of a name which could be 01101001 ("i" in binary)
Edit: Gl-01101001-tch, Gl1tch, Gl-1-tch? (Trying name ideas)
I have a few ideas for RPs but I don't necessarily want to GM one. Why are these things so difficult. :P
Interesting idea but would be better as a dedicated crossover section where you have perhaps 2 RPs that Maybe collab together for a bit.
That's the positive, the negative and it's a big, big negative, is that it could perhaps come across as a bunch of trolls that are just there to cause problems (member problems, not RP problems) between people.
I would advise against it as I would hate to have randoms invade my story development when they aren't really part of it naturally.
