I'm digging it Nutter, I just don't do it that often myself since 'multiple timeframes' screws me up mentally when I'm actually writing it, y'know? Kehahahahah. Pretty good though.

Well when people get up to that scene they can take out snippits of Duncan's speech and evaluate their thoughts on it, give a bit of insight into whether they are agreeing with the plan or not, and if they feel confident with their chosen roles, etc :)
Liking the intro post. :)

I'll be getting one up a little later today.

Done
Posted. Now I know it does jump time frame a little bit with Duncan, but I did leave the rest fairly open so that it didn't impact you guys too much. So if you wanna make posts about the meeting or as they are suiting up, it's still fully available. Hell, even if you want a conversation with Madi I'll help collab or something.

I just thought with Duncan's post it might give you something that you can hear when you take off and head to your destinations.

Hope it's ok.
Madison Cole

"I have no issue remaining on the Volkov contract,"

"Sounds good to me!" Madi sat back in the chair and put her boots up on the edge of the table. She was looking forward to this mission and a chance to let her teeth sink in a bit.

...

Madison made her way over to her rig after the meeting had ended and noticed these rather large wings extending out from the back of the unit. She could see Duncan sitting back from them on a crate staring up at the attachments that he had finished mounting, "Rather beautiful, aren't they?"

"Holy Crap!!!! They are awesome!" Madison rushed over and stared up at them, giving her the appearance of a child that had seen fireworks for the first time in their life.

Duncan chuckled for a moment as he stood up to stand next to her, "Suit up Kid, this mission is gonna be a big one."

Duncan Brown

Duncan entered the control room to see the Captain and her crew already setup and ready to command the mission. He made his way over to his spot and sat down behind the laptop, waiting for the lady in charge to give the order to start the mission.

The Captain finished her small talk with one of her officers before standing in front of the digital military table map. The scene would have looked more amazing than what it was if no one really took notice of the fact that the 'screen' was really just an extra large PC monitor that was placed under a pane of glass. Still, it gave them a digital reading of the area and if it meant they could assist the pilots in their mission, the cheap and cost effective setup would be worth it. "Everybody, prepare for take-off on my Mark. Three, Two, One, Mark."

A large rumble could be heard throughout the facility as the NCs began to ascend to the skies. Duncan watched as his cup of coffee danced around the table before slowly settling in on it's final resting place. He looked over the screen and gave a quick evaluation on the status of Madi's NC. "Captain, Mad-e's new flight system seems to be working at 100%. Turns out that the parts from the old chopper were enough to fix it, but until we get a contract with Denver-Vegas I can't guarantee that it'll be fully operational for every mission."

"That's understandable Mr Brown. We are running tight on resources as it is and every little bit of effort that these guys can give will inch us in the right direction. Can you give the pilots a status report while I discuss with my team about this warlord contract?"

"Sure thing," Duncan picked up one of the head pieces and set himself up, ready to talk to the pilots. "Good morning pilots and welcome to your second mission!" The captain looked over at Duncan and somehow both glared at him and raised her eyebrow at the same time. Obviously she was having second thoughts but decided to let it go for the time being. "As you guys are fully aware we are heading off for two jobs today with Mad-e, Swarm and Blur taking on a coastal force; while Wessex and Papa Mike will be escorting a train to it's final destination.

Now Wessex, Papa Mike, keeping up with the train shouldn't be too difficult. If worse comes to worse there is a flatbed available on the rear of the train so you can use that to preserve some of your energy and focus on your accuracy. Wessex, So that you're aware your radio scanner may be able to pick up the other three's band chatter since you two are only going to be 50 kilometres away from them."

Mad-e, Swarm, Blur. As you can probably tell by now you have a fat flyer amongst you two..."

"Who the hell are you calling fat!" The voice shot through everyone's radio and the sounds of a rave party filled the coms for a brief moment. Duncan watched in glee as half the officers in the control room grabbed their ear pieces out of fear of loosing their hearing for good.

"As I was saying, you have a new flyer amongst you guys so use that to your advantage and set up Swarm and Mad-e far enough away to cover Blur as she makes her way towards the targets. If all goes smoothly she should be able to get in there and out without too much difficulty. Best of luck and we'll be in touch when you arrive at your destinations."

With the end of his short briefing Duncan closed off the coms and reached down towards his cup of coffee. He picked it up and gave a slight groan as the realisation that it was empty sunk in. He got up out of his chair and left the Control Room, making a short dash through the cold towards the cafeteria. As soon as he entered the doors he paused for a moment and padded some of the snow off the bottom of his pants to which he heard two faint giggles. Looking up he could see two young girls sitting at one of the tables laughing at him, one about 10 with blonde hair, the other 7 with red hair and freckles.
No guns, cars, or explosive weapons?
So can we pimp out our bow and arrow with paint jobs?

Just feel a like they missed the point. Bows and Arrows are alright as an additional weapon, not something that is your only weapon on an open world game. Hell, will hang gliders and climbing equipment be there too?
I don't think it's gonna die and I was thinking of possibly making a post tomorrow if nothing happens by then. What I think it needs is a bit of a kick in the direction it's meant to go and people will find their feet. So before you make a post, let me have a go at something and it might just be enough.

One thing that I will suggest, no one make any mods to their NCs until after this mission. During the mission we can OOC talk and work out a list, but that may have been something that hiccupped the flow. We can just say in the IC that the parts arrive after the completion of this mission and move on from there.

@ADParis I sent you a Pm to see if we can brainstorm some ideas for your character. While your character is well designed and more in lines of a natural person, I think that you've played into his depression a bit and lost sight of what he's really after. Thats what we're gonna brainstorm and work out what his final goals are gonna be. :)

So yeah, @LHG100, just wait a lil and see what I can come up with before you start powerplaying other characters. While the intentions may be good and I can understand why, I can see it being a bit of a push in the wrong direction.

Another thing. The two from the truck, can't remember the name, but what did you have planned for them. Pm me if you font wanna spill the beans here. ;)

Our journey starts in the small town of Ravenwall, a farming village that happens to be nestled into the highlands of Ryhmbrook Gully. For most of the year it is usually fairly warm with the exception of the winter months where a thin layer of snow would settle down on the town giving the village a misty and almost majestic look. Fortunately for the locals the spring equinox was soon approaching and it meant that everyone was heading off at full speed to prepare this year's food crops. For Alyon however it marked the beginning of her real adventures.

When Alyon set out for her journey to find an Artifact she made sure that she left at the end of the winter months, mostly to ensure that there was as much time as possible to search the ruins and archaeological sites before the cold would eventually creep back into her travels. Even at the moment the nights still had a bite to them, but the warm sun during the day made the days so much more bearable.

Alyon felt the sun on her back as she looked up at the village notice boards. There she examined all the flyers and bulletins that had been nailed to the timber slats. Many of them advertised various items for sale; including furniture, food supplies, the occasional odd contraption, and even a job opportunity. She took a curious glance at the available work before giving a light snort and muttering to herself, "We earned more at the Fruit stand than that."

Feeling a bit disheartened she ran her right palm across her cheek, using her middle finger to lightly rub her eye before gently combing her hand through the side of her hair. Even the work pay in a town so far away from her own was worse than what she was used to. Upon seeing that she began to turn and step away when her attention was drawn to a partialy crushed page that was well hidden behind the others notices. It was piece of paper with signs that it had been up for a while due to the weathering and fade lines of the other pages that were placed on-top. As she leaned forward and tore it off the board she saw the clear heading indicating that it was a missing poster for someone who hadn't been seen since before the winter.

Alyon wasn't too concerned about who the individual was that had disappeared from Ravenwall but what caught her attention was how the last few lines mentioned their last known destination, Ryhmbrook Gully Crypt. She smiled lightly, folded up the paper and slipped it into her pack.

"Fraya! I think I found somethi... Fraya?" Alyon spun around to look for the girl that she had accompanying her only to find the crowds of strangers migrating from one destination to another. She stood up on her toes in an attempt to survey over the other people, but her efforts came with diminished results as she just couldn't quite get the height that she needed.

"Fraya?" I swore she was next to me a moment ago.
Indeed. In our current aftermath iteration, we've got a problem with syncing up the two separate timelines, with one being about 30 hours ahead of the other. Its not easy to make time go faster in many settings.

Time changes with Gravity so you could use that if it's different planets, however I'm guessing that won't be the case. :\

Well it was interesting hearing from you all and your opinions. I do hope I will find that one long lasting RP before I give up on myself.

2 RPs on an Anime forum.(gm of 1)
3 RPs on a friends forum (gm of 1, Co-gm of 1)
Now for here...
- Super hero school
- Cyber Angel demon
- My Steam punk one
- Supernatural
- My Sci Fi small group one
- Pokemon medieval
- cyberpunk pirates
- My demonic fantasy
- Tokyo Ghoul
- Mechs*
- 1x1*

*: Current RPs

So out of all those the only one where GMs haven't left was the * ones and the Tokyo Ghoul (I left because 17 post in 3 hrs is too fast for me). The cyberpunk pirate one ended after a single chapter as the Gm lost time for it (great Gm, sad to see him have to give up)

The Pokemon gave me the shits. He left and said he doesn't have time for it, but a few days later started another RP, so in my books he's a bit of a tosser.

You'll find something eventually but the more you enter the more you become critical and you can begin to spot who's RPs will do well and who is just playing around with ideas.
Oh I totally understand what you mean. Seems to be in the fantasy genre a lot where the less clothing there is, the higher the armour rating. I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. xD

Should have some time later today to make a post so I'll see how I go. On Fridays from mid afternoon to midnight I usually go race RC cars and this morning I'm heading off to a real estate for signing paperwork. Like I said, should have enough time but worse case scenario it'll be tomorrow morning.
*Looks at Character Sheet*
._.

O_O

*Seems to remember Fraya as a spider boss name from Dark Souls 2*
Google: Do you mean Freya? (Maybe)
Freya: Freya is dedicated to giving you lingerie and bra-sized swimwear that fits beautifully and looks gorgeous.

*Rolls around on floor laughing with tears*

This character is going to be awesome to RP with! Haha. I love it! xD
