NCQuest: Smith's Rest

Might take a little break. Kinda short on ideas for character directions and what to do. Plus I am busy at the moment so it's talking up a fair bit of concentration.

Eagleton High [Just Your Average, Everyday High School Roleplay]

Erica McKinney

Gender: Female
Role: Student
Age: 17
Grade: Senior

Appearance: Erica Loves to bleach her hair and recolour it pink, and is slightly shorter than the average person of her age. Most of the time she wears a blouse with long jeans and skate shoes.

Bio: Erica is a young transfer student from Australia who stays within the Eagleton Dorm rooms. Her Father has a high end job so her parents occasionally had to move because of his work. To make things easier for the young girl she decided that it would be best to set herself up within a school that she somewhat enjoyed that way she could focus on her grades.

Since Erica spent a fair bit of time travelling she ended up with several long distant friends that she talks to on a regular basis through her phone. Because of this she can often be seen with her phone in her hand and even occasionally falls asleep while holding onto it.

Anything Else We Should Know: Being Australian, Erica does sometimes swear without any forethought and this has occasionally landed her in detention a couple of times. She is also accustomed to the taste of alcohol since Australia does have a lower drinking age and her older sibling and friends used to buy her drinks for when she was out at a house party.

Um... So Australia is Kindegarten, then years 1-6 for Primary and 7-12 for Highschool. Our only special thing is that Queensland don't have Kindegarten, and students can leave at the end of Year 10 if they have a trade or early college course they want to take up.

(BTW, College is Gov funded schooling, and then there's University as the alternative to College.)

Quick Question with the Grade...........

Australia schooling is different cause it's Year 7-12 for High school. No middle school or anything, so what's the 'lingo'?

Thought I'd end it there so you can do a bit of world building since I did a fair bit before with the other town and crypt.

Also, to be aware, I'll see how I go for posting over the next few days. Weather is a bit wet so I may be home during that time as I can't really race when there's a puddle on a racetrack. xD

"Thunder apples?" Alyon tried to recall what was said when she was purchasing the food, but probably missed that part of the conversation. "That probably explains why they were a little expensive. Don't get me wrong, they're really nice, but I don't think we can afford Thunder Apples all the time..." She took another bite, hearing the deep crunch of the fruit as it fell apart in her mouth.

As the train sped on and rattled the carriage, the two girls discussed about the various objects within the room. Alyon would point to an item and explain what it was and how it worked, while Fraya listened in and ask questions. The free time made it easier for them to relax until they reached the town Gol.

As they were talking Alyon felt the train begin to slow down. She got up and wandered over to the doorway, peering out to the surrounding environment. "Fraya. We should start to move out," she spoke as she walked back to her pack and gathered up all her belongings. "Technically speaking... we should have paid for this trip..." She glanced over to the girl, giving a happy, yet embarrassed smile before moving back towards the door. She stepped out and shuffled along the platform to the edge, ready to make a leap onto the ground. The train was moving slow enough that there was little danger of being injured, but she still took care to land properly before checking that Fraya was behind her and dashing across the open landscape. They were just outside town and getting off here would avoid being spotted as illegal hitch-hikers when the train would eventually reach the docks.

Looking up, Alyon could see the town of Gol, large village with plenty of inhabitants and shops. What mysteries awaited them in this new environment.

Possibly interested. Never really been the one for a school RP, but with the amount of Sci-Fi and Fantasy RPs I've been in that have had weapons and fights and gadgets and blegh...

Yeah, I'm thinking I need a detox RP to better my communication skills and RPing abilities.

Yeah. Been racing them since 1999. I'm not too bad, (our state champ is a 17year old) but I'm usually in the top to mid range depending on the track.
