@Gowi Awesome work. Add it over into the Character Sheet section. :)

Just waiting on @Asgore to finish his CS and we'll start to get things under way. :D
Alyon didn't know what to do now since she let the opportunity for success slip from her fingers, both metaphorically and physically. She sat there frozen for a moment until Fraya spoke to her about climbing on the girl's back and up onto the boat itself. Turning to her friend Alyon saw that she was already setting up her body in order to use it as a step-up, while also noticing the expression on her face. It was the look of embarrassment with cheeks that glowed a subtle pink.

Alyon smiled to herself. Throughout all this she had seen the various sides of Fraya from the violent nature back at the crypt to her clueless thoughts about some modern practices, however deep down Alyon knew that this girl held a lot more inside her than what she clearly showed. There was emotion... she just presented it in a very different way to humans.

"I'll make this quick," Alyon instructed as she carefully climbed up on Fraya's back and leaned up towards a ledge on the ship's side. Giving herself a good heave she threw her body up and grasped the lip of the deck overhead. Alyon dangled there until she was able to plant her feet onto the hull and pull herself aboard.

The deck was empty with no one about, but it didn't mean that there weren't any personnel on board. Alyon scurried over to a role of rope that was lying on the platform and threw the end overboard for Fraya to climb up.
So what are you playing? Is it any good? What difficulty setting? Recommendations? Listening to any podcasts?

I'll start us off:

Currently playing Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, trying to unlock Godhead and Real Platinum God. The Secret Character on Hard Mode is a pain but the game is still so good!! Also playing Fallout 4 on normal difficulty and found a companion I can actually tolerate. Still undecided on the game as a whole.

Podcast of Choice: Super Best Friendcast.

On BoI I only have to unlock the lost and complete hard mode on 4 characters. Trying to get bandage girl was a pain in the ass until I had a lucky run. I know I can do it, but that last hurdle for the game is such a high one. xD

Playing Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon on PS3, and on Vita I'm playing Dungeon Travelers 2 and Freedom Wars (took a break from BoI), but I notice Bastion is out and something else that's good as BlueMaxima did a video on them.

Edit: Nuclear Throne

Cause we race in a 14x42m pavilion se can modify the track to what we suit as we use pipes to make the edges. Thats a propoaial for the layout that we'll use next year.

Each track has it's own challenges and the one that we used this year had three corners with a kick out, thus making each turn slightly off putting. It was good though because those corners challenge the racer and their response time. :)

Btw, what plans you got saved for over the Chrissy break?

It's evident you skimmed when Soul Resonance is noted under abilities since I thought it made more sense to put it there, lol. I still don't quite remember the point of the "visual traits" of the soul. Generally I just need to finish bio and contract and I'm done.

Haha! Whoops. Would have noticed that eventually. Just never saw the heading down below. xD

It's just a bit of fluff in case someone wants to describe the soul's appearance.
@AirBender Love the Character so when you're ready place it over in the Char tab. One thing though. The organisation is AID, not AIDS. We don't spread STDs to the people of Death City.

@Gowi Remember, you need to add the Soul Resonance Ability and visual traits of their soul. Won't read it til it's done, but just skimmed through some things quickly.
I figure I should ask before I outright start on a sheet or anything (and because someone advised me against it.) but, since I have little experience with Soul Eater, what would be the ruling on making an autonomous weapon that was based on a weapon from mythology? Specifically this beautiful thing? Just curious, it's not a make or break since I'm sure I can think of something else if needed.

I'm not sure how well that would translate into the universe with ease. The most unique design I've seen for a Demon Weapon is Jacqueline and how she can transform into a lantern that shoots fire. They aren't really based on mythology as such as theres never any mention of anything like that except for the Pharaoh that Death the Kid defeated.

An important thing to note between Demon Weapons and their upgraded form, a Death Weapon is how they transform. Demon Weapons can turn a limb into their weapon, like Soul's arm, where a Death Weapon can spawn a weapon, ie Spirit's blades out of his back. I chose not to run with Death Weapons in this RP for ease, but I believe an Autonomous Weapon can never reach Death Weapon because they have no meister pairing. I'll have to double check that later.

Edit: Same as reading the CS. Ill have to do that when I get home.
Yeah. We have 2 more weeks before a 6 week break. I believe in our last week we are having a little enduro, per say. We'are starting off with a short set of qualifying laps and then a longer race of about 15 minutes, which should be enough to cometely empty most batteries.

Also should be redesigning the track layout in the break as well. :)

Figured I'd start it up now since I had two people keen on starting Character sheets. I'm not too worried about this being any particular size either as it's going to be a bit more character driven rather than the overarching story style of RP. From what I've seen, the extra freedom helps a lot with the entire flow as it prevents people from waiting for particular plot point that the GM has up their sleeve. Because of this as well I'll be clear with any ideas and thoughts I have so that we can work together as a group in order to create a better quality story. :)

Also updated a few things in the Important notes, and @Gowi, recheck the CS design cause I believe it changed a little bit as well.
- ANUBIS -

Gender:
Female

Age:
A woman never tells...

Appearance:
Anubis is a slender female that usually enjoys wearing a long hooded cloak with ears stitched into the top in order to make it appear she has canine features with the same being said about her gloves to help make them appear somewhat like animal paws. To add to this the rest of her outfit consists of a knee length dress and flat sandals. Her hair is also a pure white and her eyes glow with a bright yellow hue.

When transformed into her animal form, Anubis has the appearance of an overly large wolf with black and white markings covering most of her body. The black marks were a trait that was left by Death's interactions when she was saved from her own fate. Her height when on all four paws is roughly a metre and a half tall with a tail that is long enough to easily drag on the ground.

Race/Species:
Monster

Type of Monster:

Soul Colour & Traits:
Spring Green - Anubis' Soul has a large Ankh that covers the front of her Soul. When transformed her Soul will sprout a set of Wolf ears on either side.

Abilities:
  • Werewolf: Anubis has the unique ability to change from Werewolf to Human, and vice versa, at will. While in Werewolf form her soul will expand to about 3 times it's usual size, indicating that her speed and strength have increased beyond their typical limits.
  • Strengthened Bite: Anubis' bite is much stronger than that of a typical werewolf. Her teeth are sharp enough that they are able to pierce into metal and even snap it in half on the rare occasion.
  • Flash Leap: While engaged in combat, Anubis has the ability to Flash Leap from one position to another within the blink of an eye. She is able to perform this both in human and werewolf form, but the amount of times she can do it will differ between the two.
  • Resistance: The God of Death fragment that was left inside her soul has given her body a decent amount of resistance to most attacks and even some toxins. While not immortal, she can suffer some quite damaging blows and recover from them over time.
  • Combat Trained: Training for a few hundred years does give you the upper hand in many fights when compared to many other fighters. This includes many conventional weapons like staffs, twin blades and swords.
  • Almost Afterlife: In the event that Anubis suffers a serious injury, she is able to feign her own death and place herself into an unconscious state. During this time she is quite vulnerable but her wounds will heal at a much faster pace, allowing her to awaken with a renewed energy.
  • Death Claws: While in Werewolf form, Anubis is able to throw the back markings off her body and convert them into a pair of Death Claws similar to that of Death, and his son Death the Kid. These were an ability that Anubis gained through the soul fragment that was left in her body.

Weaknesses:
Most of Anubis' weaknesses lie in her stamina, which includes her ability to remain in her werewolf form for an extended amount of time. This also includes her Almost Afterlife ability, where she isn't only able to perform it once per fight, and her Death Claws, where after a few uses she will be unable to reproduce them until she has had time to fully recover.

When it comes to werewolf immortality, Anubis unfortunately doesn't share the same trait as many other Werewolves. This was an unfortunate side effect bought on from Death's involvement. She does have the extended life, but a stab to the heart or heavy head trauma will end her life.

Her Soul Perception ability is rather lack lustre with only the ability to sense the soul of another. She is unable to tell the type nor the true strength, and thus can sometimes engage in a fight without fully understanding the strength of the opponent.

She also has a weakness for adorable looking puppies, something that she never had until her transformation into a werewolf.

Brief History:
Anubis, a woman who has now forgotten her original birth name, can almost be classified as a distant cousin to Death the Kid based on the experiences that she had several hundred years ago with his father, Death himself, and how he once saved her life from certain death.

Anubis grew up in a small Egyptian village as the daughter of a local Weapon Meister. During the evenings her father would teach her about the various creatures and monsters in the world and the role that Death and the Death Weapons played in keeping these dangers at bay, while during the day her father would venture off to participate in the missions that Death required, defeating monsters and the occasional witch that would happen to enter into a human populated area and cause strife. Unfortunately it was on one of these missions that his desire to help others would leave his family in the most vulnerable state possible.

A werewolf on the prowl entered the village with a hunger for blood and happily slaughtered it's way through the people. When Anubis' father returned that afternoon he found everyone had been murdered with the exception of his daughter that was fighting for dear life. Unable to find the monster that did this horrible act and worried about the survival of her daughter he rushed Anubis off to Death City in order to see if there was anything that the Lord of Death could do to save his daughter.

Upon seeing the man's daughter Death performed an act that had the chance to save her, even if she would live with an endless curse. Death used a fragment of his own soul to help keep her alive, and thus giving her the yellow eyes and a much longer than expected lifespan, the downfall though was that the werewolf bite awoken on her body and completed it's transformation, converting Anubis into a Werewolf with minor God of Death abilities.

Being eternally thankful to Death for his generosity, the girl took up the name of Anubis as a symbolism name which refers back to her Werewolf origins and how she cheated death through the help of a God. To help pay back her saviour, Anubis helped Death to start up AID and as the centuries progressed, she became more and more passionate about her role and how she could use it to protect others around the world.

Allocated Contract:
Being the founder of AID, Anubis doesn't really receive any contracts unless they are of a high and urgent priority from Death himself. Because of this 'freedom' she is quite happy to help out on some of the contracted tasks or stick around the DWMA and Death City.
