Double posting an edits

Had the thought just to see what others would think and if it could be implemented, but occasionally I see people double posting with extra information or bumps or such. I'm just wondering if it would be possible for the forum to do a check and compile the posts into a singular larger section.

Now I'm aware that it would create issues if the posts were merged, however there isn't anything to say that it would appear as another text box under the previous text but above the signature.

Also, to prevent issues, the Quote and edit function would appear on both 'posts'. The purpose of this would be to remove pointless air space from signature images and padding, while also indicating that these posts are by the same person.

Harem Roleplays: Feasible?

... Well. It would certainly be POSSIBLE, but IS IT A GOOD IDEA?

Hey, at this point anything is possibly a good RP when compared to one that I saw once where a guy wanted a 1x1 about a birthing scene in the hospital that was going wrong and he wanted the other player to be the struggling female.

Thats just fucked up...

As long as you don't tick off the Google adsense with any public dirty talk, there shouldn't be any issue.

I put effort into a CS to make my char a realistic but entertaining person. Then the GM posts their CS after mine and their char is so desperately a Mary Sue that I debate myself - to run or not to run.

If you're not confident, then say an apology and pull out. No point being in an RP that could be overpowered by the GMs character. In saying that, it depends what the GM has installed for the future and their overall vision.

Help with Advanced Roleplaying

@Vilageidiotx I find dialogue tricky sometimes and what you mentioned does really help. Its one of those aspects that can often change a pace of a story if there's too much padding.

Something I get a bit stuck on is how to write proper punctuation. For instance I only learnt recently when to properly use the "semicolon;" but I still see different ways for writing and uses of commas and such.

Eg:
"Hello there," said Jim.
Vs
"Hello there." said Jim.

I know some of it is trivial, but using punctuation correctly can improve your post quality by opening up how to write in different ways.

Alyon laid calmly at the water's edge with her head resting on the lip. For the first time in a long time she was able to unwind and just let all her worries go. The time presented to her an opportunity to think about everything that Fraya and herself have done, but with the pondering thoughts it opened up many questions as to the mysteries behind these Artifacts, how an entire species has now ceased to exist and what it was that the two of them should do moving forward. With each thought that flowed through her head she slowly pulled herself out of reality and closed her eyes to simply relax.

The sound of entrance door sliding open could be heard as Fraya stepped into the room. A simple, yet cheerful greeting could be heard from the girl and Alyon opened her eyes slowly to glimpse her unique body just as it dipped into the water's edge. She had seen most of Fraya's body before due to the limited clothing that she often wore, but it was the first time that she had witnessed her fully exposed.

"Hello there Fraya. There's a bit of food here if you want it," Alyon spoke, noticing that the girl was heading straight for her, "I've been thinking a bit and I'm still not sure how we will be able to get onto a train back home after everything we've done. We still need some mon... FRAYA!!!!"

Alyon squeeled for a moment as Fraya moved over Alyon for what looked like the food plate. Her face went bright red for a moment and the relaxation that she experienced was completely upturned by the unusually rough touch in an area that she least expected.

"Fraya..." Alyon spoke extremely softly, pulling her legs up close to her chest and crossing her feet, "Could you watch where you sway that tail of yours..."

I understand it's Christmas and I do hope people have a good time with friends and family, but for once I'd like to not be concerned about RPs that have gone very quiet in the OOC and IC for many days now, other than a select few that I am super grateful for.

This seems to be a thing that is tarnishing my enjoyment of role playing because I am now starting to loose track of the amount of RPs I have entered, the amount of characters I have created... and don't get me started on the GM that operated an advanced forum rp who I created a massive Character sheet for, along with about 5 others, for them to turn around and say, "meh, not interested in the rp anymore"
