WELCOME TO PANDORA
PLOT:
As the Vault Hunters travelled through Hero's Pass on their way to stop Handsome Jack, they had high hopes of both a victory against Hyperion dictator and saving Pandora from the monster that he was about to release. In the end though... they were defeated.
The Hunters had no idea how powerful the warrior actually was and after a long gruelling fight they stared failure straight in the face, realising that there was no way they could win against this godlike beast. Wishing sweet revenge on all the Vault Hunters, Jack imprisoned the surviving fighters aboard the Helios to both torture and force them to watch as his dream of cleansing Pandora were finally falling into place.
Moxxi upon hearing about what Jack had done sent out a distress call to the far reaches of space calling for any Vault Hunter who would be willing to take up the cause to stop this insane madness once and for all. A mission to defeat Jack, to save Pandora from annihilation, and return the survivors back to Sanctuary.

THINGS TO KNOW:
- I will be running this RP as a 1x1x1 to give a good player variety.
- In order to make things fair for everyone I will be asking for a submission of character sheets in this Interest Check thread and will be choosing the ones that I feel best fit the universe and the posting quality that I am after.
(I won't have a set closing date, but will close entries when I feel I have achieved what I am looking for) - Most of my RPs tend to have a 400-500 word count and I usually post a couple of times a week. No speed posting!
- I will also be looking for players that are not afraid to take the reigns for a bit and help drive the story, that way I'm not playing narrator and GM, but more collaborating and collectively building a story.
- We will be starting the RP with the characters landing on Pandora, making their way to a rendezvous point with the people of Sanctuary, and compiling a plan to stop Jack, the Warrior, Hyperion, and hopefully saving the others.
- Finally, committed players. I understand that sounds pushy, but I've had several RPs that have had players drop out and it's a real annoyance.
CHANGES TO THE WORLD:
Since this is an adaptation of a game into a story, some mechanics will be adjusted to make a bit more sense. As things go on there may be points added.
- Injuries will be treated as somewhat realistic, ie: No transfusion grenades, auto healing medkits, second winds, etc.
- Deaths may occur, however at the moment of death the character's conscious is downloaded and implanted within a new Digistructed body back at Sanctuary. Side effects may occur...
- Slag will be treated as sickness of sorts, slowing down the player and impacting their response time.
- Shields or weapons with unique abilities might need to be discussed.
CHARACTER TEMPLATE:
Alyon gazed at Fraya's excitement over the new room that they would be spending their time in until the girls reached Alyon's hometown. "'ey? So you like the room?" she responded, knowing full well that Fraya's reaction held no negativity towards the furnishings.
Alyon could see Fraya staring in curiosity towards the parcel, the girl's interest peaked much like a cat before asking permission to open the present. "How about I go get us a drink and when I get back we can open it!"
Alyon slid open the carriage door and wandered down the hallway towards the bar. She approached the counter where a tall, clean dressed bar tender was waiting. He had a sleek hairstyle and a face free from any blemishes and scaring. The look of the man caught Alyon a bit off guard as her own clothes and appearance were no match for the male.
"Excuse me, I'm from the VIP Room, the one organised by Miss Thorn..."
"Ah, why hello them ma'am," he enquired, giving her a subtle nod, "Were you after a drink?"
Remembering that Fraya wasn't a fan of alcohol, Alyon replied, "A glass of juice and a spirits on the rocks."
The bar tender gave a curious look, surprised by the girl's choice for going for the 'hard stuff', but acknowledged her choice and began to pour out the drinks. Alyon looked out the window and saw the trees and scenery zip by, leaving little chance for noticing the small details, while the setting sun also created a slight orange glow on everything.
"Here you go dear," the man spoke, pulling Alyon out of her slight trance. As the girl went to grab the drinks and return to the room, the tender handed her a sealed envelope, "This was also for you." Confused, Alyon placed the drinks down and tore open the edge of the paper to reveal a simple, one line message.
'The eye is forever watching'

Alyon smiled at the mention that she was a shy character. "Heh, no. You just caught me off guard with that tail of yours." She looked carefully at the tail, watching it sway in the water and generate light ripples. It was an unusual object on something that was quite human like and pondered the question as to why her race had a tail to begin with. Surely it wasn't used for balance since normal humans could walk perfectly without one, but it sure was an unusual limb to have.
The two spent a good amount of time relaxing in the water, only getting out when they felt the skin start to crinkle. Something about the water felt refreshing and Alyon had a good amount of energy for the rest of the day. Upon seeing Miss Thorn for the last time, she handed them two tickets for the next train that was to set forth from the station, and a parcel that had written on it, "Don't open til on the train".
"Holy Crap!!!" Alyon stared at the tickets. The gold trimming around them glowed under the lights, "These are luxury tickets! There's no way I could ever afford these!"
"You did a great job for us, young miss. There's a lot of trouble in this place and every little deed helps to set Gol on the right path. Now go, grab your gear and head on home."

They left the Rose Garden, detouring by the inn to gather their belongings and arrived at the station ready for the next train to depart. No sooner then they arrived they could see the train was already there loading up people and goods for the trip. The girls got into line as they showed their ticket and they were ushered to their corresponding carriage by the gentlemen that saw their ticket.
"You are going to love this Fraya and understand why I was hoping to get some tickets back home. A bed to sleep in, a private study with leather seating, a bistro with beautifully cooked meals! This is going to be great!"

Arena FAQ
Have a look in there and have a talk to @Rilla. He's pretty much the go to guy with Arena stuff and seems to enjoy helping others out with the format and understanding.
From what I remember, cause it's been a while since I peeked into that area, you and your partner write a dual of sorts and play it out as best as possible. Your choice in movements and actions will impact what happens in future posts and how your character will react. For instance, choosing to swipe a sword across at head level may allow your partner to duck in their next post an avoid their attack; but if you choose to swipe lower they can't perform that dodge and will be hit. This may sound like a better move however if your opponent has a shield, they could block that attack and counter it.
You go back and forth with each post until someone wins. Most of the time it would make logical sense as to who is performing a decent move and who is perhaps power playing the situation, so there has to be a bit of trust between players in order to play well.
Also, duals aren't limited to sword fights. Some of the better buys in that section have had full on Dragonball Z Super Saiyan duals and such.

I'm pretty sure that there has been talk about having an image uploading service within the guild eventually. One topic that springs to mind was talk about incorporating a theme section into the forum so that RPs could have custom banners, like so.

Haha, I worked through part of new years, but on my days off I ended up lounging about and napping most of the day. :P
Yeah, maybe we should. Skip forward a bit and start a new chapter for the adventure. I feel as if doing any more in the city will just be dragging out time.
