Advice for a nervous GM-hopeful

GMing is 90% preparation and 10% luck. Don't jump into starting it before you have your OOC set up, a few characters, and an idea of a story. The first few pages are what make or break the RP and you need to be able to build that world up within those posts. Granted that's where your players come in but you have to have a keen eye to say, "no, they don't know that information" or "yes, they can enter that area without setting off alarms."

The information above that everyone has posted is gonna be more than enough, more than what I can say, but you have to remain confident and expressive on what you would like to see. If you can show that you're determined, creative, and focused on what you want, then it will turn out as best as possible.

Monthly Challenges

1) Finish writing up the RP idea I have half completed, plus characters.
2) Sell the RC car I built just before Christmas. Turned out to not be up to the quality I wanted so I'm selling to buy a new one.
3) Finish Darkest Dungeon. Playing that at the moment.

It's not much, but it's things I wanna get done.

Fixed Width Font?

Hello! Sorry to potentially be a bother, but is there any way to change the font displayed in posts to a fixed width font? A roleplay I am starting requires a fixed width font for battlefield purposes and, after tinkering, I can't seem to figure out the bbcode that would let me change to one if this is a possibility.

If you're after a raw sort of font, like what you would see in notepad, than no that is not possible to create with our BB code.

You can however use tabs if that may help.
Example:
Colour: Blue
Alphabet: Letter A
Marco: Polo

(Note, I'm on tablet so that looks right to me, but maybe not on some PCs)
