Charles would be near front of the pack doing what he considered a light jog but seemed faster than that. He had to always do physical training so he was use to running. When the traps appeared Charles started to think of the best way to get past them.. he could make his skin into dragon scales again so he wouldn't have to worry about getting hit, after all their teacher just said to run he didn't say whether or not they could use their abilities. he decides to just change his arms into the scales so he can stop the Pendulums should they be about to hit him at any time, and stop any fire should some get on him.

When they arrive one of the Knights would seem annoyed "your late" he states. "First educate is to always be early, never late because even if your on time your late!" He states at the squires. "We're going to be combat training to teach you ho-" he would be cut off by the sound of a roae, screams and a huge hulking creature coming down the road smashing stuff in its way. By instinct most of the Knights would draw their weapons as the town guard already in gage the creature.

"..." he looks at Theo "I really can't believe this..." he says then turns to the stuff they have to cook with. "..no time to really check this stuff out... we need to get cooking" he says as he does a motion in the air with his hand to close the skill window.
