Space Scifi Rp's with OC Aliens?

lol, well considering you technically can have everything, sense it's going to be open pretty much, just there may end being multiple types of story plots happening at once sense everyone is doing, basically made to satisfy each person. Live life on the station with strange stuff happening every now and again or getting forced involved into something big, or join the mercs and fight various people and races for various reasons and money, or maybe your just some solo bounty hunter who has started to use our space station as a pit stop lol. Various things can be done, when it comes to Gming there is only 1 thing I'm bad at far as I know and that's playing two sides of a conflict intensively.

So far there isn't an actual main story so everyone would be free to rp as they wish, if you believe i should GM then I will, I'll set up you and @Wkjones as Co-GM's to help out some sense a sci-fi rp needs a lot of creativity, though it was also marked fantasy so it makes bit more open minded stuff being possible.

I'll have the OOC up here in a little bit or tomorrow most likely with as much details as I can.

mean while Everyone can send me PM's with possible Race and Faction ideas that could be in this universe. do know I will be reading over them carefully so they wont be over powered, at lest for the Start of the roleplay. I mean I have like 3 races of my own (one technically a disease) and 2 of them are pretty crazy in concept though are somewhat manageable.

actual space battles probably one of the hardest type of sci-fi fights to do unless you have a very active GM posting nearly every other post for various reasons, and/or having very good posts from the other rpers involved into it. either way the roleplay would be fairly open no matter which way you do it sense that's normally how sci-fi rps are unless your doing a Very strict story one.

For some people here I would suggest (for those wanting to do missions and crazy battles of various kinds) where they are part of/joining a Merc group that is stationed at the Space station that everyone is living at, this merc group probably has some sway on the higher ups of the station allowing them to get nearly anything they wish into the station. of course various players can create their own missions, Come up with their own factions and such (I would say in reason on the factions, trust me I've both seen and made insane groups before especially on the races). Everyone of course is at the station for their own reasons, some want to make a name for themselves in this merc group, some just want to live a peaceful life on the station, etc.... so the Center point for everyone is the same but what they do is up to them.

For GM I would give it to @ladyanglaise sense they was the first person to take charge in actual working on an idea. If not then I can set up the forum, and general starting information for everyone.

One main thing is the GM would have to create a list of planets, space stations, Races, and factions. both some before the roleplay starts and as the roleplay grows and progresses. We could always have random 'Story Arcs' about some kind of faction is trying to take over or destroy everything and our merc group goes against them for money, glory, and other rewards.

Charles would chuckle shaking his head and smiling at Mara, and he would think 'this team up will be fun' he would look around at the other in the room and think about the other teams wondering about how each team would actual fight. he would look at Mara "when it comes to showing people things about us" he says to Mara "lets hold back some" he states.

I'm panting because I just ran here full sprint from my home when I finished my lessons" he says then in a whisper tone "I wonder.. what are some of the capabilities of your weapon form?" he asks her sense he wasn't paying to much attention when he picked her as his partner, mainly just seen that she had an interesting weapon form.

noticed this thread been here for a while, and I would say there is two simplest ways to make a sci-fi rp and that's a Merc group, or some kind of special galactic forces. Merc group is a lot easier to deal with sense it's more open for possibilities while the other your kind of limited to good only. either way would accept special jobs/missions from various factions if a merc group, otherwise from the governments of various planets, which members could decide if they wish to be on the team. even make it where every roleplayer has chances to create their own missions and everything, even allow multiple missions to happen at same time.

When it comes to Sci-Fi rps I think I've have more experience than I've had with other roleplay types sense I had a group who purely did Sci-Fi on another site.

The actual Merc ship/compound or Special Forces ship/compound where everyone lives would befairly big, if it's a compound/spacestation/what ever, then it would have shops and stuff but if it's ship then literally just a mobile home. which who ever is the GM would have to control where the ship is at any given time so would have to make it stop by planets and space stations for various reasons.

Charles would think for a few seconds before deciding why not and heads outside to await the tournaments rules. Pulling out a gem and rolls it between his fingers thinking what he should use for majority of the tournament.

Summoner's Academy

Koga would rub his forehead and groan some and walk away from then then turn back to the students "I'll only say this once!" he states "Trying to experiment with your summoning abilities at your current stage of development will only result in injury and majority of the time death" he states to all of them "Like our student here did an example off.. he was lucky to get off with injury, if he hadn't lost concentration he could of ended up causing himself to explode" he states shaking his head "Always ask permission from me, Oni, or the headmaster if you want to experiment with anything so we can tell you of the risks... and if your even capable of doing something at your current level of development" he states.

He would then stand back as the rest of the students did their first channeling, even Charles who was watching the scene play out.... with bit of an angry look at Avarius, Charles has seen some students die in this school so it doesn't sit well with him seeing another student try something. He would close his eyes and put his hand out into the air, his emotions would be mixed into it slightly causing a strong gust of wind to eject out from his hand into the air before dissipating.

After the students finish Koga would look over all of them "everyone stand up" he states "Now we'll go on a trip" he states and starts walking towards the treeline heading east "Keep up, Keep up" he shouts to them.

Frolam Capital and School of Mana

Unknown would head off to his assigned class, and takes his seat awaiting for class as he leans back in his seat. His eyes changing color as he activates his sight and looks into the other dimensions that he knows of to see where he would be at physically and everything.
