The man appeared to cross his arms, though it was difficult to tell through all the flying debris.

The only I've got with that is it then gets into more of an order, which I've stated I'm pretty against.
The only reason I'm for this suggestion is because it would only be during ship battles, and we normally don't have to wait long for Spiffy.

Dia raised an eyebrow at the mention of fighting a teacher, pursing her lips. "Then we'll stop by the infirmary after we're done with... that ... issue," she said stubbornly before leaving.
It took her a little bit to figure out where her room was again, and she quietly let herself in hoping she didn't disturb the nice girl who was her roommate. She turned a little red again at the thought, embarrassed that she couldn't remember the girl's name. Did she say it in their brief encounter? She shook her head, sneaking into the shower.
Thirty minutes later she was stepping out of her room, feeling rather refreshed if a little jittery. A quick bite to eat, and then she'd head back.
