Then that brings me to another question; How wouldthey know about this so-called "ancient weapon"? Do they think it's real and worth investigating (clearly yes since they sent Argus out there, but still)?
Well then stick around and feel the waters when it seems appropriate for you to post then, all of us lets a certain "sequence" go before they post, so as to make the story flow fluently.

I'll be working on a post right now as we speak, it'll be good to get back in the saddle :D

@gohKamikazeWell first of all (yes, I'm being an arsehole about this), I hadn't accepted you yet, so you posted a bit too early. Again you're new here, so I'll cut you some slack, but you be 110% certain that you're accepted and allowed to post in the IC before you do.
That being said, I think you're good :) Argus seems like an interesting character, so he's accepted!

Now for your post: Are you implying that the Pinkterton Agency knows something about Dr. Atkins's research and his death after one day? How much do they know? And what's your plan for getting Argus into contact with the other characters? But other than that I can't say I see anything wrong with your post other what I already asked about.

@gohKamikaze Now that you mention it, I see that you're quite new to the site from the amount of posts you have, haha! No worries, mistakes are easily made when you're testing the waters, just remember to ask for permission first ;) But as RBYDark also said, not seeing anything that needs changing on your character.

But before I accept you and Argus Lichfield into the story, I'll have to be that kind of Gm and ask you if you realize what we are looking for in the means of posts? Have you read the IC and the story so far?

@RBYDarkThat's great! Congratuations :D And no sorry, I already have two cats. Cute little buggers, aren't they? Fun (Lovecraft) fact; Cats are creatures of the Mythos actually, if you're to believe Lovecraft himself, so we have to dump a ton of cats into the plot very soon.

This is by no means meant to sound obstructive to you playing a veteran, because I don't mind that. I'm just concerned that he might be too similar to the two WWI-veterans we already have in play. But by all means if he fits into the story, you have the green light from me.
