Back for my bi-yearly visit. Now where did I leave that thingy-ma-jig? Anyone seen that mish-masher? I think it looks like motivation or something!

@Lady AmaltheaI fully agree, he was a dick. Just finding it amusing.

Got it, editing asap.
@Lady AmaltheaDone and done, simply love the silent-treatment and annoyance this causes Haakon ^^

It would seem that Haakon's try at reverse-psychology had been fruitless; Abbas' only information was that he indeed had information, though said information was or was about - except that they would all pay if they handed him over to the authorities - he plainly refused to elaborate about. Haakon sighed quietly to himself as he and Sgt. Walsh escorted the ruffian of an Arab outside the hotel...

...Straight into the arms of the two Keystones. Fantastic, just the men I wanted to be stared angerly by. Haakon's quiet sigh had quickly shifted into an expression of annoyance. It didn't fit in the plan he had for a hopefully cordial reintroduction with the British gentlemen. The sobering, city air of Cairo tugged him back to his senses again though, and his face was once again one of formal etiquette like a journalist wanted around these people. His gun was still aimed firmly at Abbas as they approached the Lord Mayor.

And of course he was determined to ignore - or at best refuse to adress him directly - Haakon. He wasn't surprised, more annoyed, perhaps a bit insulted, taking into account his liking of the British people and lifestyle. Then again, his career was perhaps not the one to go for then. Giving both Lord Mayor Keystone a polite nod, he persisted in keeping his mouth shut, his gun pointed at the murderer Abbas, and his eyes casually shifting from Abbas, Reginald Keystone, Sgt. Walsh and whomever might be standing around them. If there was one thing he had learned that night, it was that to always expect something more ridiculous to arrive just around the corner.

@Sigil Ooooh, Haakon is getting the silent-treatment :( Fine, now the Major can be left out of crucial information, don't let the astout journalist help him! XD
@SigurdWell looky here, long time no see! How's life?

@gohKamikazeGood, because I still need someone to sacrifice to the Great Dagon! Soon...very soon...
@Fish of OblivionOh don't you worry, I'll be right here to bully you back into line ^^ Hopefully...my bachelor really could do with some writing...

Anyone want to write at least 6000 words about the South African government's role in the abolishment of Apartheid from 1978 to 1994?
@Fish of OblivionBump. You alive? In all honesty, I can post as Arthur (and narrator) if that sounds better?

Empty, not even petty stolen coins or bits of string there...something is indeed were strange here... Haakon were anticepating something of interest to be confiscated from Abbas' pockets, but the lack of items were just as interesting to him. It meant that he had not simply decided to find Aziza after whatever he had done after escaping from prison; he had gone to the hotel the first after getting out of jail. This all meant something, and Haakon feared only Abbas understood it all.

"It would be a pleasure, this bandit don't deserve to breath the same air as the ladies. Come on, get going. I'm not afraid to use this." Haakon recieved his revolver and held it pointed at Abbas as Walsh forced him out of the hotel room. "This would have been excellent source-material for my newspaper, but sadly this rat has no worthy information to be written of. And besides, his behaviour towards our friends is not worth any front-page coverage. How anyone can treat women like that..."

"War? Well, then I myself shall kindly accept your offer of not joining. War's not of my liking, and it probably will never change..." Guthrie let his hand grip the handle of his sword, feeling the weight as he let his mind briefly consider the future. Their future. If they were going down in the tunnels - places where men like himself had to fight to just survive, and lesser beings were easy prey - they would need to be well prepared.

"Rations, dry, enough for us to last a week at most; we can live of what we gather and hunt. Oil for our alchemist friend here, he'll surely create wonders with the liquid. A bow and a quiver of arrows, lost mine against a brownskinned stone-worm a few weeks back. Whatever the girls need. And..."

Guthrie let his gaze rise up towards the ceiling of the cave, as if searching for something lurking up there, in the shadows. "..any information on a creature with red eyes. Red like that man's blood. I am tracking it."

As if he had been too caught up in the moment, Haakon realized he had been acting the very way he himself wished his interview-subjects were when he wanted information; talking about things that surely were related to the case (and pendant) without actually getting answers. Of course it was too late, especially when Josephine was in the mood she was in. She's quite the lady when she's mad. I don't mind, but now might not be the right time...

"Well if that's the case, we have to take care of the investigation ourselves. Mr. Walsh?" Haakon turned towards Harry and handed over his revolver to him, before returning to look Abbas up and down. He was looking for something odd, something out of place (whatever that could be on an escaped convict, Haakon wasn't sure of), anything that was of interest. "Now if you don't mind, could you be so kind as to empty your pockets and the like. Everything, even whatever hids underneath that dreaded fez. Or do we have to get forceful, Mr. Zien?"
