I take it this thread is dead?

I was hoping to jump in. Oh well, let's start digging a grave then!
Haakon J. Elvsgaard

Location:Grand Continetal Hotel

Haakon tried his best to swallow the chuckling that was nearly ventilating out of his mouth at the sight beholding them. The approaching squadron - platoon, regiment, company, Haakon never quite learned the difference, or bothered to learn it - was a respective sight in itself, but the reaction from both Lord Major Keystone and Mr. Walsh to what clearly was not supposed to happen, now that was a pleasent sight after an already far-too long day.

"Endelig, noen som faktisk viser litt takknemlighet i denne forbrente byen..." Haakon said to himself under his breath, before giving a smile and thanked the man in charge of Abbas' arrest for taking him away. Now Haakon wasn't in favour of what the free press called 'police brutality', but when that wretched Abbas was knocked unconscious, he couldn't help but feel a tad more relieved. At least now it was less likely they would see him, at least during that night. Hopefully, for he still had that nagging feeling something was not right. The way that Peter Keystone spoke, however, still annoyed him deeply. That was for certain. Spoke of him, or more precise, spoke to everyone but him. Oh well, no need in taking up space around him then.

Giving a polite nod to the two Keystones, like just before the whole military-drill-mess-up had taken place, Haakon turned around and gave a quick jog to catch up to Mr. Walsh. Since he clearly wasn't spoken to, or about, he departed the Keystone-family before they presumably were to follow. And either way, Haakon was jogging, pushing his way through the presumed crowd of people before he caught up to Mr. Walsh at the foot of the stairs. "Mr...Sergeant Walsh, I mean. I didn't have the time, but thank you in assisting in...well, you know, all that just happened. Who knows what that man might have done if we didn't get him first. I just hope Miss Tarek is feeling better now."
Alright all you silly willies, I posted. So now's there no excuse for you lot to not do it! Get to it, I'm expecting grand things of you!
Arthur Steiner & Jeremy Arthur Velera

Now what in the name of God is going on here? This place is a madhouse!

Who thought that thought was irrelevant, because the though described the mood that was filling up both Jeremy's and Athur's mind right now. Arthur was having such thoughts, because the question of who this man was - this Lichfield from a bureau somewhere down in Washington D.C., Arthur wasn't aware of any men's clubs with a written permission from the President to do whatever the hell they wanted to do -, because he was sure as the fate of Rome as he knew that this wasn't Inspector Lexington. What was he doing here, and why now? It was too big a coincedent that he just so happened to knock on their door right as they were...making their own investigation into their associate's untimely death.

Jeremy on the other hand was having a mental breakdown, just from the sight of this G-man. "...You...why have I seen you before?" Jeremy said quietly to himself, yet audible enough for his newly made aquintance, Fredrick to hear. Jeremy had indeed seen him before in his dream the night before, in the No-man's land of the Dreamlands. He had been standing there, looking as confused as the rest of the group, though with a look of defiance in his eyes.

And when he thought about it, the man standing behind Lichfield also looked familiar. And the other man and student as well...This, this was simply a mountain of madness, piling up on Jeremy like a cloud of gas filling one's lungs with toxic gas.

"I see, though I would have preffered to be updated about the involvement of the federal police. Or however has an interest in a simple suicide-case." Arthur looked sternly at this Lichfield, his eyes never leaving his eyes, while his hand still clung tightly around the The American Prophecy. He blinked, but only once, while the two men standing further down the hallway were now coming into his view. "And you two, back there? Who are you? What are you doing here?"

Jeremy's foot set itself in front of the other. Then the other foot in front of the first. Clack-clack. Clack-clack. Like a man headed for death-row, to the hang-man's noose or the electric chair. Jeremy knew he had seen these people before. The agent. The man of Stone. The professor, and the Student. The Teutonic Knight. It frightened him. A sense of dread, of dark and slimy fright clinging to his chest. But he had to keep going, towards his imminent fate, like the loyal trooper he was trained to be.

"I'm Jeremy Velera, mechanic of Ferguson & Sons motor cars, though that's irrelevant Sir. I'm a madman to say this, but have the Lady in White spoken with you? Mentioned my...Our arrival?"
@Lady Amalthea@Sigil Done and done. My apologies.

The whole Let-us-ignore-the-journalist-that-most-likely-knows-a-bit-more-than-the-Sergeant-act was slowly, but surely starting to get on Haakon's nerves. It was especially Peter Keystone's obvious look that made Haakon look in another direction. The feeling was mutual, however, as Haakon didn't trust Peter a whole lot more than he presumably trusted himself, the loose ends were just too many for that to happen.

Finally! I fell asleep yesterday, and had to prioritize my bachelor for today, but I made it! 1500 words, 4000 in total; only 2000 ++ to go!
Guthrie

Location: Alleyway - Shezze
Interacting with: The Twins, Vamon, the guards and Nevan

Vampires? Guthrie questioned himself silently as the small group of people made their way to what he presumed was the garrison. Vampires, unholy creatures of the night, turned against their will - or willingly, some people were pervertedly convinced - into an abomination of darkness and evil. At least that was what Guthrie thought, it was all he had ever known of vampire. He had encountered such a being once, down in the tunnels just outside Belizarius, though not fought it...him. It seemed, in some wicked and mad way, that the vampire had wished to converse with Guthrie, though his...its eyes spoke of a different intention. Guthrie had run away, and thanked something greater than him that he was alive.

"Perhaps, Vamon. Perhaps, though I'm suprised if anyone else than me and our Captain here knows much about this creature. Long story short, the last and only person who could identify it was a drunkard, though I believe him. But please, any help is deeply appreciated. Perhaps I'll hunt down another snake for you to tinker with, you seemed eager at my last catch." Guthrie said to Vamon, a friendly smile and tone in his voice meant for the man Guthrie had some initial respect for. While he normally didn't give much attention to men of knowledge, Vamon proved himself to know more than books and the like. He then turned towards the Twins, the friendly smile and tone still sincerely meant for them too.

"Good thinking, Sala and Vala. I would suggest some clothing more suited for the tunnels. Something more sturdy and less...revealing. Though repairs will certainly be needed, the time between us finding the cloth or leather to patch our clothes will be far and wide."

@rivaan

Sorry for the absence (again...oops?)! I'll have a post up tonight, just need to do some basic human need-things first ^^
