The Room

*Xan snoozes for a few hours, less than a human would normally need. Eventually she wakes, yawns and stretches like a cat. She blinks sleepily and looks around, still slightly cautious of the giant birdman and his scaly mate*
Xan:...
*She looks at Zeta, rather surprised she's still there with ther*
Xan: You stay? Why?

*Horus dozes fitfully*
*Iris shivers in her sleep and unconsciously presses herself against Horus's warm body*

The Room

*Horus is completely thrown off by the hug. He stares down at her awkwardly for a few seconds before a spark of sympathy alights in his warrior's heart*
*He gently hugs her back, trying to be comforting, but he's not as good at is as Iris*
Horus: I- Well- Umm-...
*He sighs*
Horus: Life isn't fair little one, look at Iris. Turned into a dragon... I know people to whom life has been incredibly cruel, and while some of them chose to wallow in misery, others just kept fighting. That's what I do Hanna, I just keep fighting. Don't let life get you down without one helluva struggle against it.
*He holds her for a bit, just comforting her until he dozes off next to his beloved, and the young girl he's beginning to see as more than just Iris's little friend*

The Room

*Xan follows after Zeta, acting more like a puppy than a cat. She yawns and stretches then goes to a sofa to sleep. She curls up and snores softly*

*Horus nods once and waits for Hanna to finish healing Iris*
Horus: Alright... Hanna I'm not pleased. Because of you Iris was injured, not seriously but if Jillian hadn't been there it could have gotten worse.
*He looks down at her in utter seriousness*
Horus: I know Iris thinks of you as... well as a daughter, but you need to be more careful, otherwise you'll put both yourself and her in very mortal danger. Are we clear?

Zombie Survival

Sydney is looking around the landscape, hand on the butt of her concealed pistol at all times. She observes empty cars, doors just left open and seemingly abandoned, normally busy shops lying empty even of workers and even a few signs of damage, or possibly even combat or rioting.
The f*$& happened here!? Looks like the aftermath of a a riot but without any broken windows...
She reaches out and puts a hand on Tori's shoulder, stopping the young girl from going further.
Hold up kiddo, something ain't right.
She motions for the mysterious man to stop by raising one hand up in a 'stop' motion.
Oi! Mate! Hold it! Do you know what's goin' on 'round here?
She hears someone behind her ask for a cellphone and pauses.
Damn...
She pulls out her phone and looks at the shattered screen in frustration.
Damnit! Chains said these things were supposed to be tough!

The Room

*Horus frowns down at her. Despite his worries, he knows better than to question Hanna's loyalty*
Horus: I don't suppose there's a way to find Jackson using this things body? No sort of tracers we could reverse or anything?
*He looks down at Hugo's body, which he has propped against the wall*
Horus: What kind of mutation even is that? His arm, what did they do to it

The Room

*No matter how much damage the scarecrow does to Sydney, all she does is scream. The pain is unbearable as she's torn apart but somehow keeps 'living'*
*As she screams she wishes for nothing more than death*
*Her screams are drawing several things, namely one cloaked figure leaning heavily on a staff*

*Xan sticks by Zeta. Watching Horus in slight fear, as even in his weakened state he could squash her easily*
Xan: Who that?...

*Horus fumbles with the medkit for a few moments then swears violently and hands it back. He growls low*
Horus: My damn hands are too big... you do it...
*He sighs and rubs his forehead*
Horus: Alright... But why was he after you? I would think all Jackson's creations would want him dead, not be on his side.

The Room

*Horus walks inside with Hanna. After she presumably puts Iris down somewhere he looks down at her, folds his arms and glares*
Horus: Now explain. What the f&$# was that? What was that creature? And why was he hurting Iris.
*He sits next to Iris and holds a hand out*
Horus: Give me the medkit.
*He speaks in a steely voice that leaves no room for debate*

The Room

*Iris weakly hugs Hanna back*
Iris: Sorry... so sorry...
*She goes limp as her vision swims and blackness overtakes it. She falls unconscious on the ground*

*Horus frowns down at Hanna then over at Hugo. His anger is apparent as he lifts Hugo up and inspects him*
Horus: What is this? More genetic s*$&?
*He looks harshly at Hanna*
Horus: Come, we need to take Iris inside.

The Room

*Iris weakly hugs back*
Iris: Are you... okay?
*She sits up, even that movement almost being too much for her. She groans and holds her throbbing head. There are several cuts on her face and body from being slammed into the ground and bruises are forming too, but the wounds are minor and don't require serious attention*
*Horus staggers out to where Iris and Hanna are*
Horus: Iris!? What happened?!
*He stumbles towards her, still having trouble walking in his agonized state*

Zombie Survival

SO can we get a GM post or something? Just something that would allow us to continue and not let it die out?
