My friends are kinda lame like that, but I've taken a liking to it. I normally just go by my actual name. I go by my last name in JROTC, because.. it's like being in the military. They only address you by your last name. Other than those, I really don't have any nicknames."

"I stand about five foot' eight inches tall and weigh approximately one-hundred and thirty-eight pounds, last I checked. In order to stay in JROTC I have to be able to pass all the tests, such as our Mile Run and BMI as well, so I stay pretty active and maintain quite an athletic build. I have a pair of snake bite studs in my lower lip, as well as two tattoos. Yeah, I know. I'm 16, but with parents permission you can get a tattoo at such age. From my shoulders to my lower biceps extend black raven wings, and across my chest reads a quote that says, 'Can't wrap your arms around a memory.' I also wear a paper crane necklace and a ring that were both from my mother. The necklace was a gift to me on my eighth birthday, and the ring was hers. She never really gave it to me, I just ended up with it once she passed. It was the engagement ring my dad gave to my mom, back when they actually showed some decent kind of emotion towards each other. As far as my wardrobe goes, my friends call me a 'skater girl', although I can't skateboard for the life of me. Always wanted to, but never could. I like snapbacks and graphic tees with a smooth-fitting pair of jeans to go with them, and black converse to finish off the look. Yeah, I know. Still haven't grown out of my 'tomboy' phase. I just like to keep it simple. My hair is usually down, but occasionally I'll prop it up in a bun or ponytail, but that's very rare."
►Habits & Quirks◄
"I have a habit of being early to meetings, appointments, and even classes. Most of the time while I'm out, I'll purposely keep a handful of excess change in my pocket if I happen to run into a homeless person so I may give it to them. I have a really bad habit of quoting movies, mainly Disney movies. It can get pretty bad, don't even get me started. I can probably tell you the name of a movie if I hear a quote from it, because even after watching a movie once, I memorize most of it by heart. While out at a restaurant, after finishing the meal I tend to stack the plates and place all trash and utensils on top of the plate stack. Sometimes even placing back all the condiments where they were found. My mother was a waitress, and so were most the women on my mom's side of the family. I guess it's in our genes. I don't really know if it's good or bad, but when I'm thinking hard on something, I'll pull a quarter out of my wallet and roll it over my knuckles."

"I like wolves, kids, music of any and all kinds except Ska music, action movies, fantasy fiction books, video games such as Call of Duty, and my dog Fly. As for dislikes, I don't like being alone at night or sleeping without my dog, nor do I like being interrupted while talking, certain rap music and all ska music.. politics really aren't my thing, nor is religion. I'll tell you one thing I highly dislike. Being cat-called."

“I think all around, I’m a pretty decent person. I don’t really let the little things define who I am or was, and am quite proud of the person I’ve become, to be honest. Through the evils I’ve suffered throughout the years I’ve managed to keep a soft spirit and a kind heart. Most everyone I’ve met could agree that I’ve got quite a large one, when it comes to hearts. I’m one of those shy, soft-spoken types who doesn’t let her guard down for anything or anyone. Due to some of the things that happened in my past, I often times have trouble making friends sometimes because I'm a bit reclusive.. but once I'm accepted into a group, people bring out the crazy, out-going side of me. I have about a handful of good friends, and over the years that number has diminished but it’s whatever, ya’ know? Live and learn. I only trust those I know best, and hope to God that they trust me just the same because those who put their faith in me will never be let down. I’m a lover and a fighter. I fight for the things and people I love, and will not stop until what I fight for has been won. I’m stubborn, hard-headed, strong-willed.. whatever you’d like to call it. "I literally grew up on the good part of East Side Long Beach in Southern Cali. I was born and raised there in the city. I went to Gator Gant Elementary, Buffum Elementary, and ended my elementary school years at Mark Twain Elementary. Spent middle school at Bancroft, and am now attending Robert A. Millikan Senior High for high school. You don't wanna venture too far into the West Side, close to downtown.. you might literally be killed if you're caught in the wrong neighborhood after dark. That's why I mainly stay on the East Side where the street lights stay on, bright and watchful of the lonely night owls wandering about."

"I had a fairly normal life. For me, anyway. I was born in Long Beach, CA at LB Memorial Hospital My parents were never married, and by the time I came of age to really understand things that went on in each household, both parents already had a significant of their own. Well, my mom had hers, my father however had several. One in particular, that was around for the first eight years of my life. Her name was Debbie, and she had three young boys named Gus, Steven and Tyler. I grew up with those boys, and they're part of the reason I am who I am today. The other part is my mom's doing. She was the exact same way, a tomboy. Even up into her mid-thirties, she still wore caps around in the day and slept in boxer briefs at night. My mother had some things done to her when she was younger that brought her to drinking, and she was a heavy drinker, too. Her boss was no help, in that area. He let her drink on the job, and then she'd come home and blackout drunk off her a**. Even when she was drunk, though, she tried her hardest to be the best mom she could be. When she was sober, she'd take me places like Knott's Berry Farm and even Disneyland, back when it wasn't so expensive. I loved her through it all, both good and bad. She was my best friend. People often mistook us for sisters rather than mother and daughter because she looked so young and I so mature for my age. How couldn't I have been? I was the parent, between the two of us. I was constantly taking care of her, looking out for her well-being when she no longer could. Her fiance tried to help, but there wasn't much he could do when he was constantly away at work. My dad, suffering with the pains of his own past addiction to drugs, tried helping my mom get to some AA meetings. She went, and even took me with her a couple of times. There was a playroom for the kids to go into when the parents were in the meeting, but I never played with the kids, I always sat by the window and tried my hardest to listen in to what the people in the meeting had to say.. especially if it was my mom sharing her story. I lived to understand the kind of pain she was going through. I spent most of my younger years blaming myself for the way she acted, why she drank herself into a darkness. Drank herself to death, literally. It has taken me a few years to get over it. She passed when I was just 11-years-old. Once she passed, I went to live with my father who had since met a new woman and married her. She had two children of her own, and soon enough, one more on the way. My step brother, step sister and later my half-brother taught me how to be responsible. Not willingly, of course. My dad and stepmom would leave me with the kids and go to NA meetings in the afternoons and late nights. I missed out on quite a bit because of that, but I don't regret it. I only lived with my father for two years, till I finished out middle school, and then I went to live with my mom's mom. The place I currently reside. We live in a little two-bedroom apartment on the floor level. I'm now in my Sophomore year of high school at Robert A. Millikan Senior High, and am loving it, so far. My spanish teacher, Ms. Goldman, turned me on to the idea of going to camp. She figured it'd do me some good to experience the outdoors more often and make some new friends over the summer. She insisted on it, actually. I listened, because over the course of my two years in the class with her, I'd created a bond with her and strongly trusted her. Goldman was more like a second mother, to me. Anyway, though, that's my story. Sorry for babbling.. I tend to do that a lot."

I like to take my dog to the park and run around with her till the both of us tire each other out. My dog is literally my everything. She's my furry kid, and I love spending time with that little sh*t of mine. :3
