While part is innate talent from being a Siren, the other part comes from practice and dedication to her craft. ☙Social Chameleon - Fontaine is able to blend socially with others. While she may not consider herself friends with those she talks to or hangs out with, she can be seen as part of the group. This can be achieved through the clothes she wears, the words she uses, as well as a well-placed rumor. ☙Gossip Queen - Fontaine loves a good secret and is not afraid to do what she must to find one. Fontaine prides herself on knowing the who's and the what's of the people at Hawthorne. And if she doesn't know, she intends to find out. ☙Aquatic - Due to her Siren blood, Fontaine is a natural-born swimmer. She is able to swim quickly and maneuver in the water gracefully. She is also able to breathe underwater, which makes it easier for her to swim. WEAKNESSES ☙Naive - Due to her sheltered upbringing, Fontaine is naive to other supernatural species. While she has a basic understanding, part of her information comes from a people fueled by protecting their own. She still has a lot to learn. ☙Self-Centered - When you grow up in a wealthy home, it is easy to see how one can become spoiled. Fontaine is no exception. Fontaine cares mainly for herself and her own well-being and this fuels her time at Hawthorne. ☙Hedonistic - Always looking for the next satisfying thing, Fontaine is not satisfied until she achieves it. It does not matter who or what is in her way, until Fontaine satisfies her senses, she is not content. And she will make everyone aware of that. OUTLOOK / IDEALS / PERSPECTIVE ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Fontaine has been sheltered among her Siren clan ever since she was born. She heard stories of the various supernatural species that inhabit her world, but they were often told in the negative. The worst of them being for werewolves, with stories of werewolves in the past hunting their kind for years. Magic users are tolerated among her kind as they would often work hand-in-hand with each other for mutual benefits. There is also an understanding of the use of magic for both Sirens and Witches and Wizards. Vampires are more unknown to Fontaine as Sirens rarely interact with them. There are rumors abound. Vampires are the one species Fontaine is fascinated with. Humans are a necessary evil. Useful things for Sirens to get what they want. Humans hunt them for sport or pleasure though so Fontaine has been warned from birth to stay away from them at all costs. They do not often allow others into their home unless it is for a very good reason. However, as the world shifts, their kind has had to adapt to their surroundings. One cannot live only in the water. Sirens have shifted to living on land, leading them to develop and evolve to appear human. The Havenswell clan is part of the Siren sect living in the United Kingdom. Fontaine being the youngest child among her seven siblings (Siren families have multiple children to ensure the Sirens do not die out). Due to her parent's wealth, Fontaine wanted very little growing up. Out of all the children, Fontaine was the one who sought out the outside world. Despite her parent's protests, she would often leave their home and explore, resulting in her getting in trouble with the local authorities. Fontaine, like all Sirens, was trained at home among other Siren children. Education was important, but so was learning their legacy and the reasons why Sirens often kept to themselves. However, Fontaine's curiosity could not be contained and she sought other means of exploration. Sneaking out at night, Fontaine's world was opened up. Seeing their daughter's curiosity and hoping to quell it, her parents opted to send her to Hawthorne in a vain attempt to get her to see what life is like outside of their walls for their kind. To see how others would treat her when they see her. Their plan backfired. Fontaine took to the school immediately. It was an environment in which she could alter who she appeared. After all, there were not many Sirens who got the opportunity to broaden their horizons outside of their own sect. Fontaine took her first year to find out who's who and weave her way into important social circles. It was not easy, but Fontaine enjoyed the challenge. The thrill of the chase! Once she was satisfied she had made a name of herself, she let the rumors fluctuate. After all, if people aren't talking about you, what is the point?
