She wanted to read, she wanted to write, but the main thing she wanted was something to fight

Make it clear that you don't need him to be reading Dante tomorrow. Also suggest it would be fun if you had a private language that you could use to mock English speakers in secret.

A hit gets you two of these questions:

Who’s pulling your character’s strings?
• What’s your character’s beef with ______?
• What’s your character hoping to get from ____?
• How could I get your character to ____?
• What does your character worry might happen?
• How could I put your character in my Debt?

Also she gets to hold 1 on you.

Im assuming you want What is your character hoping to get from January.
Is there another question you want?

She is going to want to figure out How could I put January in my Debt.
"Mortals are brave in proportion to their foolishness," the woman replied, nostrils flaring slightly to admit two pencil thin lines of smoke.

"Perhaps if they knew they were stealing from me, they might have made more survivable choices," she continued, a slight sibilance creeping into the word 'choices'. She made a few more keystrokes on the laptop and then looked up, giving January her full attention for the first time since he had came in. Her eyes were weighty and ancient and they seemed the black grey of smoke rising from Vesuvius.

"The thieves took what was mine only out of happenstance. What they were truly searching for belonged to another," she explained. Yuki's Japenese pop music made an odd counterpoint to the dragons intense focus, seeming to hover on the edge of perception.

"It was a lock box which contained the last will and testament of one Harold Robinson."
From the way Barliman is looking at her he is just as scared of her as he was of the Ordo. She wants something he dosent want to give.
It seems clear to you that the Ordo came in when something was going down between Barliman and the woman. She only wants to get away.

She is going to keep her hold for now.

If you want more info you could try to put a face to a name, but probably not a great idea to stand around in the street and get gunned down while doing so.
No, she isn't asking him for help (at this point) just imparting information
The woman sitting at the table gave him a level inscrutable look. There was an ageless look about her, as though she had been sculpted from marble to look middle aged but the sculptor had forgotten to add the little lines and imperfections which a human accumulated over the years. Her features were strange also, as though races which seldom came into contact, or perhaps no longer existed had been blended.

"Well I suppose you are my guest," she said after a moment, her voice rich and sibilant, putting a strange weight on the word guest. She flicked her eyes sideways to Yuki who had hung her assault rifle over the arms of what looked to be a statue of Venus in gold shot marble, the patrol sling around the statues neck. She had also replaced her soiled gloves with a fresh pair. She hurried across to the table, pausing to scoop up a chalice chased with gemstones before pulling out a hankerchief and wiping the inside clean. She set the cup down before January and then reached into her satchel to retrieve a bottle of Poland Spring water. She twisted off the plastic cap, poured half the volume into the cup and then recapped it and put the bottle back in the satchel.

"I will get to the point," the woman began.

"Something has been stolen, several things actually and I want what is mine returned." It might have been January's imagination, but it seemed that a thin whisp of smoke curled from the woman's nostril when she spoke, dissipating instantly into the still air of the cavern.

KK. What does January know about this Wild woman?

While January has never met this woman before he knows of the great wryms from his own time. Although history has settled on its own version of events January would know that there were tales that the legions of Varus were destroyed not by Germanic raiders by by a great lizard that rose from the earth and breathed fire. Sightings of dragons have diminished over the years but they still dwell with their hordes, walking among humans in pleasing guise.

He would also have heard the tale of a great Wyrm that contended with Old King Crow in the folklore of the city. The Wrym and the Crow competed in three contests before Old King Crow emerged the victor.

First of all we need to save the party from Emmaline. Maybe and absolutely non-egoistically we should start with saving Lorcan who more and more appears to be Faeril's enemy of the state No. 1 while he actually is just trying to save Emmaline and likely would not have embarked on his very makeshift plan to begin with if she hadn't decided to... take off... her very own way.

'Plan' is a bit of a stretch. Emmaline just has some broad goals and a can do attitude
The warmth of the liquor and the mention of gold spread warmth through Emmaline's belly. She had been debating whether it was better to simply abandon Nuln and head back to Altdorf and collect her share from Albrect. The problem with this plan was she didn't actually have any coin to buy passage. Under normal circumstances she could have simply pawned her dress, but after the disatorous visit to the mine head, that was ruined. The jewels she still had, while pretty, wouldn't pass muster at any real jeweler, and pawning them in an alley somewhere was as likely to get her a dagger to the kidney as a few coins. As her only option to get back to Altdorf was to steal something to pay her way, or unthinkably, get a job, she might as well take a shot at the crime that was in front of her, rather than risking trying to start something of her own with limited resources.

"Sounds like we have a deal," Emmaline purred eyes alight with the thought of gold in her hands. She wondered what Neil considered to be exciting, though given the day they had been through, it must be something to make the cut. She took the bottle back from Neil and took another long drink. Letting out a pleased sigh she took some of the dry fruit and dropped a few pieces into her mouth. With some money of her own she might be finally able to get out from underneath Albrecht, though that was tricker than it sounded.
She belongs to Wild, you can mark the faction if you haven't already
