Hello! I'm interested in claiming a Macemaster spot and an Astronomer Mage spot.
I'll PM the moment I get a chance.
I'm late but interested. Keep me posted, yea?
I'm willing to bet not too many people read 1x1s, though.

But don't worry, I'll play most supporting cast members for that dynamic flavor. And I know pretty much how the storyline will progress. Without spoiling anything, we can probably go on for a long time or end at any time really.

I might be open for this to build up one or two extra players over the course of the RP. So I left the Apply open.
Name: Caldara
Age: 56 (Dunedain Aging)
Race: Human

Equipment: Eriadorian Steel Blade, Silvian Short Bow, 40 standard arrows, Leather Cuirass, Rivendell Cloak and Broach, Steel knife, Leaf-wrapped Lembas

Attribute: Caldara is primarily skilled in traveling, hunting, and tracking. However something can be said about her skill in fighting in close quarters, and having master shot with a bow and arrow.

Biography: Caldara was born in the region of Eriador to a small family of what seemed like lowly bar owners. It was their preferred patrons that set them apart from establishments, however. The great Dunedain Rangers had always called the Barbed Bee a home and it became a sort of front, or headquarters, for Dunedain affairs. As a child, Caldara loved hearing the tales that the regulars had told and always wanted her chance, one day. As she aged, her life of simply being a barmadien would soon turn to becoming an ranger's apprentice, being passed from ranger to ranger as they accomplished tasks of varied difficulty. From then on, she became a full-fledged member, claiming her birthright that her parents had given her, extended life.

And that's it! I'll create a thread real soon and hopefully I can post something for an introduction.
Chapter One: In Favor of the Lady

"It's a dangerous business going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.”
-Bilbo Baggins

~ 2950 in the Third Age of Middle Earth
It was an odd time and an eerie peace seemed to swell over the land, just like a calm before a storm. The Elves were quiet in there continued isolation but ever present. The Dwarves, having recently recaptured Erebor, the Lonely Mountain, enjoyed a great peak of satisfaction in life as many dwarfs flocked to Erebor's rebuilding. Talk of reclaiming Moria becomes a common rumor. The lives of Men were flourishing as Dale began rebuilding alongside the dwarfs. Attacks against Gondor have increased but have largely remained unsuccessful. The world seemed to be approaching a climax and the recent events of concerning Erebor were just becoming public knowledge but the event surrounding Dol Guldur were still kept a secret only told behind closed doors.

--

Rivendell was quiet at night. Not many Elves had the desire to wander about at night it seemed. Only a few sentries and their armor could be seen glittering in the moonlight. Of course the sentries weren’t the only ones still up, Caldara, herself was up. She was situated on some type of reclining bench, drifting in and out of sleep. Occasionally after she stirred awake, she would glance around to see if anything changed.

The Dúnedain gave a great big yawn and she stretched along the bench. Like clockwork, she groggily glanced around. The open-aired vista in which she was resting in had remained the same. Nobody was sitting at the round stone table and her two sponsors, a male elf and a female elf, were still looking out on the balcony talking very little in a hushed tone. The male was Elrond, famous elven lord and this was his domain by definition. The female was unmistakably Galadriel with that long flowing blonde hair and a beauty that had even entranced Caldara from time to time. Those two probably had a lot to talk about if half of the things she heard were true.

Caldara gave another yawn and stretched, it was around the time that they would be expecting their Sentinel. A Dwarf who had a fair reputation of being a battle-hardened veteran coming off of the recent Erebor battle.

It's good to see that you're still with us :)

Just a moment of absence. I had things to do (like the paper I'm putting off right now) but spring break starts tomorrow at 5:00 PM and I'll be free!
Alright I'm kind of caught up now. I was thinking about just writing a post involving the boring going-ons at the HQ building. If there is anything else I should know, I should be posting again tomorrow.
Psst... Irregardless isn't a word.

Anyway what if Tyrion never took the oath? That could /maybe/ be a work around if he can explain just how how Tyrion could avoid it.
