Usually tardiness was something to frown upon but Elena couldn't blame those that were late. Ivy was very quick to get things underway. As the briefing continued, Elena noticed people trickle in and one person, "Eight", didn't even bother showing up in person. Judging by his greeting, he kind of deserved that glare from Ivy, wherever he was.

With the announcement of team leaders, Elena couldn't be more satisfied by being announced team one's lead. Leading a team is certainly a change of pace. "I'll find the finest dress..." Elena replied as she flicked her dossier closed. Expecting to pick her own team, Elena began eyeballing the room but that man who had been taking diligent notes during the meeting came over and offered to join. He even saluted when he greeted her.

A little puzzled at the enthusiasm, Elena rubbed her chin as she eyeballed the man from head to toe. "Fine..." Elena's voice was surprisingly soft and gentle as opposed to her rather rough and crude exterior. "...I'll take you. Give me four hours to figure out your cover story." Elena flipped open her dossier again and ripped off a blank corner of one of the pages. She began searching her pockets and managed to produce a pen. "Now before you get any ideas..." Elena said as she wrote on the small torn paper. "...This is my number. Call if you have questions or concerns with these coming few days." She turned and handed him the paper.

Elena was sitting in the lounge by the time the announcement over the intercom came through. "Perfect timing.." She quietly uttered to herself as she stared at the half depleted cigarette in her hand. She twirled it around her fingers, letting the butt of the cigarette slide in between her fingers as she made sure the lit part was kept away from her flesh. "... I was done with you anyway." She had been wanting to quit cigarettes for some time now but she just couldn't break the addiction. Maybe this half used cigarette was a sign of change. Elena certainly hoped so. Without another word, Elena pinched the cigarette and rubbed it into the filled ashtray and then got up and left the lounge. She made her way through the sterile corridors of the FEA building and after a bit of wandering she finally arrived at the briefing room, right behind that Austrian fellow, Long-Shot,

A rather obvious name for his profession but Elena really didn't care. In fact, that's probably how she could sum up most of her assignments for the FEA so far. Hopefully today would be better.

Elena entered the briefing room and saw that she was one of the first ones. She quickly took one of the chairs as far away as she could get from the others, giving each of them a quick nod as she passed them.
