Okay I admit that Twitch Plays Pokemon kind of got me excited to do a Pokemon RP.... I even have a photo that inspired me!
But my idea with this is that all the players are in a new region primarily composed of tundra and mountain biomes. There are a few cities and towns but most of the continent is a frontier, even the Pokemon scarcely populate it. We, as the players, are Pokemon Rangers whose job it is to explore and protect the frontier. We have our Pokemon with us (all generations) and there might even be some new ones! Together we'll end up banding together to discover the mysteries that hide underneath the snow. Mysteries that would otherwise threaten us if left unchecked.
Anyone who joins will be completely welcome to contribute ideas for new Pokemon, towns/cities, or even the mysteries. I have ideas for all those but don't let that inhibit your creativity!

Sorry! I've been house-sitting for the past several days and haven't had too many opportunities to use a computer (they have theirs under password lock).

Well since Yang is based on Goldilocks, and Junior is called Junior, I assume there's a Mama Xiong and a Papa Xiong. But maybe Yang and Amarok become close too?

You know RWBY better than I do... Should Yang have any trouble fighting the Twins? Yang is a bit hurt and winded from previous battles so I don't really know how threatening the Twins would be. :/
I'm also guessing Amarok will be fighting Junior?
And where do we go after Junior is defeated?
Yang's new friend wasn't too far away. "Hey! That's my line!" Yang called out when there was a lull in combat. In a rather non-serious means of getting him back for that, she ran towards him, coaxing all the baddies in his direction. Then using his mechanical arm to jump off of, Yang launched herself into the air and used her wrist guns to blast herself over the horde of baddies she had just lead over. "It looked a little too easy over there!" Yang said aloud in reference to pretty much leading all the goons she was fighting over to him. "I'll be over here enjoying my drink!" She coolly sat down and grabbed one of the drinks off the table she was sitting at and taking a sip of the lukewarm beverage. Junior was still holding out with his big guns, the Twins, for whatever reason.

Elena stood there in disbelief as she and the other team leads were scolded for some alleged wrong doing. "I'm sorry? Did we do something wrong?" Elena said with a very scrappy tone, "Why are we being harshly criticized minutes after being assigned team leads? Is this because of the complication? I don't really see how we can be blamed for the incompetence of someone far outside our realm of control. In fact! I'd wager the only person in this room who could possibly have control of the father would be you, Ivy!" Elena scowled towards her boss, thinking this whole thing was ridiculous. She has been here for years and suddenly her worth was being questioned? Unbelievable.
"Anyway..." Elena broke the tense air in a much calmer tone, "We should predict heavier security. No doubt our target is going extra cautious and overly generous with his guard placements. Infiltration teams will likely not be able to smuggle in contraband so we might have to get creative with defending ourselves if it comes to that."
