I like how filthy and sad the post is, btw. I love supernatural physical trauma because how often do people really think about having this fluid creature crawling under your skin would feel? How when it “speaks” to you, it might just be tangling itself in your brain to convey that message. It’s just so dour.

Hopefully by then I got Silk’s voice down and can give that good hero conflict curveball.
@tealrootssss

Gunslinger is probably incorrect given the time period but I get your meaning. But nonsense, you can have them meet whenever you want since it is your story that you are wanting to write. Imagine Gerard finding out about Benedict’s murder spree and at the moment having nobody to turn to. Then suddenly Winny is there with a kind smile and a shoulder for him to lean on. Then go from there.

Writing the process of falling in love, I find, is often much cuter and rewarding than writing being in love.
@Pirouette i think Winny and Gee are the most cutest couple i made in a roleplay lol, like when i wrote the line where she said "I care about you too much, Gee," my heart honestly melted :(

I’m surprised you didn’t start them out as just meeting and build the relationship from the very beginning. Lead up to the part that they fall in love with each other. It would have been cute to see them develop that, potentially. Just my suggestion as I think about it.
@tealrootssss That’s true. Winifred is his rock in these turbulent waters.
@tealrootssss Hmm… I’ll keep reading then. I thought for sure Benedict would go back to his old ways after gloating about the sister killing. Coincidentally, the ship back to the Old World might help Gerard take time to grieve and plan, I think.
omg, how could Gerard let Benedict get away! He had him but now Benedict is going to beat Gerard home to Valle D'Or and start his mad killings again! You don’t think Benedict will be there to stop his mother from telling Gerard who gave him the Specter Ring, do you?
@Lord Wraith

You’re so sweet to say so :)

I got an Adrian Toomes flashback to give a little more world building and I like it so much I might do that for every villain I introduce. All for that world building and tying things together.
Am I also fair to say that most people do not know how to read in the setting? I see a particular niche with a character that can’t fight but can runs books, read, and politic around.
So I did come up with an idea.

Can I have a character start with an impoverished claim or business that she sort of got handed to get her out of sight and mind of her family from Old World?
Kitty phase through her own panel would be cool. Wolverine cutting through his own panel… I dunno about Kurt. Teleporting the panel?
