For what reason do they take you along? I mean, you're completely random at this point, for the most part. Do you go after them or someone request for you? ... Would the prince recognize you? I mean, the backstories don't sound like it, but you're both from Renais... XD ... Or did you eavesdrop on the conversation in the throne room and hear about the mission to protect the Sacred Stone and decide to...? XD

Alright, I have updated the map in the IC for the moment.

@Eklispe, I went and assumed you got that job, so I took the liberty of placing you in the throne room. Inform me if you had other plans.

@71342 and @DAWNSTAR, I am still unsure where exactly you want me to place you, so you're currently not on any map. Do inform me of your thoughts.

@Harbringer I didn't know when I made the image, so I made them a Thief and a Fighter. I can make them Brigands when I update it to include the missing characters.

@Draconfound You're standing on top of a wall. Have fun.

And the prince, the mercenary and the knight is standing in the Throne Room as needed. As is the sha- *cough* serving girl. Mercenary beside his master, knight opposite his superior, prince was making some kind of report I recalled and the rest, uh, a bit to the side. If there are any problems, tell me and I'll take care of it.

... Hold on. Opposite... ... ... Uh... Did I read "opposite" the wrong direction, Pen?

@Draconfound All treasure on the map is pretty much guarded by some form of Grado troops. Wasn't he after the Fire Emblem? XD
... Yeah, I may have filled this map up too thickly. Hm, if I remember Archibald was to show up on the top right and run left-wards, so that doesn't quite work... ... ... Do remember, enemies in Fire Emblem famously ignore all thieves, so you can be, like, hiding to the left of those three chests confirming that the door is REALLY well-guarded. ... Or you've found a secret-passway and is currently inside that unreachable room in the middle and can at any time jump out of it if you feel like, the Druid to your right not having noticed a thing.

And don't forget you'll probably get an amount of vulnerable NPCs he can hit on as much as he likes, haha...

@Harbringer You mention two companions which you'd randomly be bringing, that you'd then be leaving. ... What classes would these be? Or should I decide that? Perhaps I should even give them character? Haha.

Giving the Fire Emblem to the prince of Renais does work. Maybe he even could slip by Jehanna's troops without trouble. That would explain why the more easily identifiable people from Grado were not allowed to join him.

In any case, I'll send a PM to the last guy asking how it is going~

... Oh, my. Three cavaliers? Then I need to ask, did he leave these behind? It sounds like it because of how you wrote it, but I need to make sure. Loyal friends would accompany their leader, because noble things. Except... yeah, that'd make too many characters early in the game. XD ... ... ... Those three names, Hodge, Ismay and Mylle... Did you intend any particular genders for those names? I honestly can't tell, except for the first one. Is that up to me? XD

Feel free to ask anything you desire of me when it comes to that visit to Jehanna. If you went too far in with a military force, you'd probably encounter Eira's Storm Guild eventually, don't know what more I'd state. She's in charge of security, after all. Or do you want me to show you locals for you to have met? XD

I'll randomly remind that Renais' reason for not acting is their military inferiority compared to Jehanna. They'd simply be cut apart by Sion's forces, just like Grado's are currently. But of course, Marwood doesn't look like a dude that cares much about that~ You are correct about the historical closeness of Grado and Renais, even if I didn't actually mention it in the opening post. Hm. Should I have? Oh, well. Haha.

So everything checks out... Except I am NOT comfortable giving you a Brave Lance to start with! It is one of the best weapons in the game, and... yeah. ... If you want something brilliant, you could have a unique weapon, simply due to the fact that you're a Renais prince. Either that, you pick a less impressive lance, or you can argue for why you think you deserve a Brave Lance. You already have C-rank fighting, which is already stronger than I initially intended you guys to start with (but since people all around picked it, I figured I'd let it slide, haha).

Edit: ... D-Rank with Lances is not enough to fight with a Brave Lance. Is this intentional?
