@Gisk Oh, if you tried to give Emilliana a lightsaber she'd have been like "Oh, I have one already. This was left behind for me by my ancestor. Will it still do? Or is it, like, obsolete?" and showed the blue lightsaber of her ancestor while giving a little grin.

So, do we gain anything from this brief training session? XD
... Well. It would certainly be POSSIBLE, but IS IT A GOOD IDEA?

Most "Harem-animes" so to say focus on the time between the male character and each female one at a time. That, of course, will get trickier in a roleplay with all the other characters who have to be doing something else at the same time. They need something to do, too, after all. As ELGainsborough says, it'd help to have a story that focuses on something else than the romance to give them something to do. If you somehow want to focus on the Romance...

... Hah. Suddenly I got the image in my head of a roleplay where all players play girls who are in love with a single NPC boy, and they all need to do their best to snare his heart, competing with one another while the NPC is a total buffoon when it comes to awareness, anime style. Not sure how well it'd work, but in my head it's a fun idea. Haha. In any case. That was my immediate thought.
@Gisk Eh. Let's hear if Nira wants to say something before we suddenly warp across the galaxy. XD

Regardless, I'd like to potentially have a conversation with @Ciphra while on the ship. Could we have that in a PM while also playing ourselves in the main roleplay, and then post it later saying "We had this conversation" or is that a no?
The casual observer will get the wrong idea of David with all the giggly teenage girls he's about to fly off with.

XD

@Ciphra Alright~! Well, I'll leave it to you what you actually stole, since you were the one who'd have to plan the heist and such. We just moved it after. Of course, it was my father that did all the dealing, I was just hanging along and then piloted the ship. Haha.

@Gisk Of course. But it was my first one, I felt I needed to make it special.

Hm. Emilliana was in smuggling, Nira was in stealing. Could it possibly have happened at some point in the past that Emilliana's family was to transport something Nira had stolen to a common client? ... Now wouldn't that have been the most unlikely of coincidences? XD
@Ciphra B-but, I find eye-rolling and such reactions fun to read! XD

In any case. I wrote a post's amount.
@Gisk ... Heh. I think I'll wait a moment more to allow @Ciphra to write her reaction and so whatever she pleases to what you wrote, first, and then write myself in after hearing from her. Though yes, I'll start typing up something in a document of my own with the intent to fill in there.
@Gisk What I went for with linking the threshold with the skill is mainly that it makes sense. A master with the sword would be better at making sure that, even at a disadvantage, he doesn't take damage. But if it's with a stat that's how you want it, alright~ Armor sounds complicated, who even has a capable armor in the Star Wars universe? XD

Make sure to tell what we get to change/add when the new stat is introduced, then~!
@Gisk@TheUnknowable I'd say make it linked to the skill rather than the stat. If I (theoretical scenario) do the effort of training my character to at 5 lightsaber I'd be rather disappointed to still have only 1 Damage Threshold in a lightsaber duel. So, depending on the means of which one blocks an attack, the Damage Threshold could be the same as that skill.

That would make it possible to have those long, extensive lightsaber battles where nobody hurts one another for good long time to be possible. Haha. ... Though, it does make the powerful even more powerful, as well as make it practically impossible to have the weaker even slightly injure the powerful ones through sheer luck. Haha. Maybe that's how we want it.

So, if you dodge a blaster-shot, use the evasive threshold, if you block it with a lightsaber use the lightsaber threshold. Pretty much. That's what I'm suggesting. If one has armor, then maybe there could be a rule that says "reduce taken damage by x" rather than increase the Damage Threshold, and then the armor could be damaged to the point of uselessness if it soaks up too much damage. Haha.

Of course, this is all suggestions.
@Gisk I don't want to interrupt on Nira's scene (unless she has specific use of my sudden appearance), so go ahead and finish up your conversation. You'll find Emilliana inspecting your ship on the way back, because that's where she sensed you, just that you had left the ship to go encounter Nira and I didn't notice that you had moved. Does that work?
