"I'm just used to waking up early. I wake up around 5 a.m. to do some morning exercise since I had nothing to do." Miroku said with a little laugh. Good sleep or not, he would wake up at that time and would be cheerful for most of the day. He exercised because he didn't need to do anything like cleaning up for his masters or preparing breakfast. No, he just had to wake up here and then eat then train. Hopefully the training wasn't brutal on the second day... but then again, he has endured everything up to now and working for his masters wasn't really the best thing since they tired him out while he had to go to school. It was a nightmare there but he was fine with it. "Wakey wakey Kofi-kun, we only have thirty minutes to eat." He said, adding an honorific this time. "Oh, there she is. I don't think she's the type to do that." He said, pertaining to the surprise part. She didn't look like a girl who would do that.

"Morning!" He said with an energetic smile. "You completely awake? Kofi here isn't." He said before gesturing to the tattooed man. Since he was eating even before they came here, he finished upon Aleksa getting there. He was a fast eater even without using his powers.

His eyes averted from his friends and then looked over to another who came in. He had never talked to her before, given that it had only been a day. Once their eyes met, he waved at her with a smile. He wouldn't mind if she came over but if she didn't, then that was fine as well.

"Mornin' Kofi." Miroku said. He was obviously not sleepy at all. He had been up for a while so he was naturally more awake than his friend. "Come on, eat." He then looked around. "Wonder if Aleksa's awake by now. She's younger than us, hopefully she woke up."

Orphanage for Supernatural

Two new orphans. More additions to this nice little family of misfits. Yes, he was happy that a lot of people were coming. There were more people like him and more people in his family. He was interested in them, wanting to know their experiences and things like that. Although he was a little sad, being in this orphanage means that they're family either didn't accept them or died. That's what he hated. The idea that most of them just got out of something traumatizing like their parents' deaths and here he was, happy that they are here. He knew about this sort of behavior was weird but he couldn't help himself.

"Or maybe I could start? My power's pretty easy to comprehend." He said as he raised his hand when Ms. Smith came back. He didn't like showing off his powers but they gotta start somewhere that is not so destructive and scary like Sara's. Not that he minded it all that much, it's just that it might scare the new orphans. But then again, their powers might be more destructive than Sara's. Oh well, he already said it so he might as well just wait for an answer.

"Hai means 'yes' in Japanese. I usually say it because I find it easier to say for some reason. Must be my blood." Miroku explained, understanding why Kofi didn't understand what he just said. Most people don't unless they really look into the sentence and find context clues. "I'm not quite sure. I haven't used any secondary power so I doubt there is." He replied to him. Maybe he should observe more in the next few days.

He then turned to Aleksa with a smile. "Right. I just need to train myself." He then sighed before looking at the time. "It's getting late into the night eh? See you guys tomorrow. I'm retiring for the night." He said with a small wave.

Night passed.

Miroku had been awake since 5 a.m. since he got used to it. His body was rigged to wake up at that time since there were so many things to do before his masters woke up at 7 a.m. He had been walking around when the bell rang and they were asked to report to the dining room. He looked around, wondering if some of the others had woken up. Hopefully he'll see Kofi and Aleksa there whom he left the night before because he got sleepy.

And with that, he used his powers to get to the dining room faster. He examined all the food and took only a portion, leaving the rest for the others. He sat down and began eating at a normal pace. He never used his powers when he ate, afraid that he'll actually choke from it.

"Good thing everything here is made for us." Leo thought out loud as he stood up and then looked at Sara. Her destructive force would wreck this place if it hadn't been for the special material that was placed within the building itself. He would like to see the others' powers as he already familiarized himself with the powers of the orphans who has been with him for a while now. He then looked at Ms. Smith who was confident that she wouldn't destroy anything so he just shrugged and looked back at Sara. He wanted to see how much she has improved.

"Hai, that is my name." Miroku may not have grown up in Japan nor does he know much about their culture but he at least knows some words by heart and through learning the language itself. "I think it's because some of our cells... no, not some, all of our cells have mutated in our birth. Perhaps something happened while we were inside the womb of our mothers or perhaps something else has happened in our early childhood." In all honesty, he was quite a smart kid and he already dared himself to find out what exactly happened to him and why he has powers. He has no answer as of now.

"Wow, you're way quicker than me. I suppose I can't beat that but oh well." Miroku said with a shrug. He was never a competitive guy so he never really cared. He just wanted to meet people like him, not just those who have powers but those who have powers like his. "We'll make the fastest duo Aleksa. I bet we would specialize in... perhaps, covert missions?" Given their speed, it would be possible but then again something else might be more suited to their kinds of powers. Eh, Sir Zodiac would handle that.

"Ahaha, thanks." Miroku said before taking her hand and shaking it with a smile on his face. "I haven't met anyone faster or as fast as me so I think I'm happier to meet you." He told her with a light chuckle as he retrieved his hand. "It's nice being called nice. And I really like how you look like one of the orphans back in my orphanage. She's way different than you though in terms of personality but it's like I'm seeing a familiar face." He admitted as he rubbed the back of his head, kind of embarrassed to actually say it out loud.

He then looked at Kofi. "Sweet! I'm glad to be working with you Kofi." He said with a huge grin on his face. He then contemplated about the name but was overall indifferent about it so he just shrugged in response. "No... it doesn't. It seems that my body is accustomed to handling the G-forces in the air. Although I'm not sure if I carried someone else..." He muttered the latter part so he was not really all that sure.

Miroku took no offence to her forgetting his name. He chuckled before replying, "Miroku. The name's Miroku. Nice to meet 'ya Aleksa. Quite a name you have there... Russian?" He asked, trying to find out her birth country. Obviously he was of Japanese descent, Kofi was somewhere in the Egyptian or African descent, depending on someone's point of view... he had to ask later. The others looked like they were Americans, one was Japanese but she disappeared without him noticing.
