He almost laughed when the punch didn't even reach him. Perhaps it was because of relief that he did. However, Will's eyes glazed with worry as the lifeform managed to get his hands out and then used both hands to try and get Mason... but thank goodness that Juliet was there and tackled Mason out of the way while keeping the chain in hand. Both hands are now stuck on the ground. He'll worry about Mason and Juliet when they actually get hit or after the battle, whichever comes first. One order was in his head.

Hack its legs. Break it apart. Restrict its movement. It would slow it down, if anything.

He took a deep breath and then began to run towards the lifeform, axe aimed at the leg he had struck earlier. Now with more force than ever. After, he would use the momentum of his swing to roll towards the empty space behind the monster, keeping his distance once more.

As for the yurei, I'd imagine a yokai who had lived for a pretty long time and has traveled a lot would know about it.

Reign of the Nine-Tailed Fox

Akira had laid down and closed his eyes, intending to rest for a while. Yokai he may be, he still gets tired. However, more and more people had arrived and he even sensed another yokai, but most were either human or a holy being. However, he made no move to stand up or sit down. He did not respond to any of them, but is mildly interested in the kitsune that had arrived. Not because of her heritage, but because she looked like she fell on the way here... multiple times. New names, new faces... who were these people? What is happening? Groaning, he sat up and then looked at the group that had assembled.

A bird yokai, a kitsune, a hybrid creature, a yurei, and four (?) humans, not ordinary at all. Well, this was certainly an odd meeting. His eyes were drawn to the human that had appeared moments ago; now wielding a rather large axe. Upon mentioning that they were 'flunkies of the fox', Akira frowned. He'd rather lose all remnant of 'life' than bow down to that fox. But he did not speak but another did. His eyes trained on the little fox who began speaking, how, he was not sure.

He looked at Luo Dai who had been the first to introduce himself after Ichiru. Akira let out a very happy laugh sitting cross legged on the ground, both hands on his legs. "Other people who wants Anjou's head on a pike? On fire? Ha! Then nice to meet you all!" He exclaimed, his happy tune certainly covering up the morbid image of the words he spoke. "The name's Akira Igarashi! Bakeneko at your service! " Truly, it was a good thing that he was brought here. He was planning on finding other companions but everyone he came across with were hesitant or pro-Anjou.

He then looked at the others as they would introduce themselves.

Julio looked back to see that there were students both above the trees, like him, and on the ground, traversing through the terrain with minor difficulty. They would be better off choosing the Savannah if they were going at it like that. Knowing that his headstart bonus was over, he began quickening his pace, using his heritage to his advantage. He expertly and nimbly leaped from one branch to another until he heard the familiar sound of a shot being fired. Just like that, a lot of the branches had been torn off its tree. The one he had just leaped from being one of them. He quickly hung onto one of the other branches, looking back to see many students falling.

And so started the war. Students fighting left and right. There was no time to lose in this, he wanted to say, but he would have no choice but to fight anyway. But he kept on going, faster than before. He needed to put in some distance. But he made one big leap, from one branch to another, and then aimed down at the students below. The barrel of the rifle was aimed straight at the gray haired boy who had started this. There were a lot of students around but he was a clear target. The dust compartment rotated so fire dust would be chosen. Firing two shots, they would explode near or on the male student.

He landed on the branch and, not looking at the result, he rushed forward once more. He was aware that many students were recovering, and were after him. He had to be extra careful.

Smiling back at Denali, she proceeded to follow him further from the dens. She, unsurprisingly, didn't have much trouble keeping up with her leader. One could even say she could overtake him and lead the way. But she made no such move, knowing her place. The strong scent of an elk almost made her stop in her tracks should she not have known the pain and danger of taking on an elk with only two wolves. She kept up with the Alpha male and then slowed down near the riverbank. She dipped her head to lap at the water and then looking up again. The border should be close. "I hope nothing's here." She muttered. She would usually have interactions with Slough Creek wolves. They were a nice bunch, or at least the ones she meet were. Some were aggressive of course but they dared not cross the borders. "I'd rather not fight right now." She admitted, in a louder voice now.

History: Joshua led a normal life at the first years of his life. His parents were already working for the government when he was born, both as assassins. Originally, he wasn't supposed to know of any of these. He was just told that his parents were working for the government, and nothing else. So Joshua generally didn't grow up with much attention from them since they always left and let him stay with his Aunt. However, he didn't mind. At least he knew that they were working hard for him... or so he thought.

When he was thirteen years old, his father took him to a shooting range. His aunt pleaded his father to at least spend some time with the kid. His father reluctantly accepted. Both him and his mother were present and started teaching Joshua the basics. Even if they knew that it was next to impossible to know that they had a family, they still needed to watch out. So that's why he chose for Joshua to learn how to shoot a gun instead of taking him to an arcade or something. It seems that the guy was a natural when it came to shooting. While it needed work, it was definitely good for a first timer.

That was when they entered Joshua in a training program for assassins like them. Joshua didn't mind though. He didn't mind a lot of things anyway. Leaving his old life behind, he started the rigorous training. He was placed under 'long-range assassinations'. Those people who majored in sniper rifles rather than close encounters but was taught to wield various types of weapnry. He graduated at the top of his class when he was at a mere age of eighteen and then started to work. He did pick up hand-to-hand but isn't particularly good at it. Everything was going well and then when he reached twenty, he had received a letter stating that his parents had died in the line of duty.

Devastated, he was allowed to rest for a total of three days. They can't have an emotionally unstable man go out and kill after all. But he recovered quicker than they thought, only taking a day. He then went back to do his usual job. That was until another year passed and he was given a note that he would work as a guard in this asylum in Vale island. He had heard of it but wasn't sure. But it was his job to follow orders so he did.

Personality: Generally passive about most things, Joshua can come off as unresponsive. He is generally seen with a poker face and a bored look on his eyes, on occasion, a yawn would erupt from his mouth. He denies that he has a sense of morality, everything is just fair game to him. Children, the elderly, women, men... he can kill without even flinching. Although he is pretty easygoing and rather lazy when you really observe him. But he is cautious and is ready to spring into action in a moment's notice. Although he doesn't show it, he actually cares a lot for things or people that he likes.

Skills: He is skilled in wielding weapons, guns especially. His aim is near-perfect, rarely missing, whether it be long range or short range. He doesn't hesitate when an order is given. Cannot be swayed/manipulated easily, it'd take more than petty words to break him. Has a fast reaction time and can usually perceive where a moving object will be when he pulls the trigger.

Likes: Ichi, Chocolate, Softdrinks, killing, Lazing around

Dislikes: Overly bossy people, Nosy people, Things that hurt Ichi

Extra: He has a German Shepherd-Siberian Husky mix named Ichi that he has for quite some time now that helps him in his job.
