Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Julio grit his teeth as he felt the lightning run through his entire being. He was sure that he was down to the half of his first life, if not more, but he was still overall fine. He knew the effects of the risky move. It was a do or die moment. But he didn't succeed in making the Ursa release him from its grip. It then smacked him onto the ground. Ouch. That hurt. A lot. He was nearing the start of his second life at this point, but he could still take a few more hits before his first life aura depletes. He felt its grip lighten. He could use his gun as well.

He pressed the end of his gun onto the Ursa's body and pulled the trigger, releasing several bullets into the Ursa's body. In this close range, not only was it a sure shot, but it should also bring a great deal of pain. That added with the earlier attacks and the lightning dust should be able to put it down at least. The Ursa was powerful, sure, but it wasn't immortal. And it also felt pain. Even if it didn't kill it, it would weaken considerably and release him.

He was so focused on the Ursa that it was only then that one thought passed through his mind. Where were the other students? This was a competition, sure, but they should at least help each other out. He guessed that was part of the pointing system too. Huntsmen helped people after all. Ah. There he goes again, relying on others. Being a sniper really puts that mentality in you.
When I think of spicing up ideas:

1. Tigers actually move to destroy the Vandrow pack
2. Rival wolf pack comes and tries to invade the Vandrow pack
3. Natural Disaster

Hm... I wonder what will happen.
Interest right here.

Is Necromancy/Summoning acceptable for the powers or is it a no-go?

Avir

The tiger did everything in his power to not jump back at the contact. Hm, well that was a first. Even he didn't know the he didn't like being touched. Perhaps it was because of the long time he hasn't been together with others. "You're welcome." He wanted say that he wasn't doing this for her, but for the cubs. But in the end, it does seem like he's helping all of them right? By this point, he shouldn't even care anymore. He looked over to the cubs who were at the side. How long does it take for them to mature again? Shouldn't be too long right? The sooner they learn how to fend for themselves, the sooner he can finally be alone again.

Saaba's growl made him turn towards the entrance, the voices of other tigers reaching his ears. However, unlike Saaba, he approached the entrance cautiously. Seeing that it was another family, without a tiger, he took a step sideward. It was around this time that Saaba finally noticed that it was another family and then offered them to stay in the cave for the meantime. Seems both him and Saaba really did have a soft spot for the kits, abandoned or not. "Yeah, you're welcome to stay inside. It'd be bad to sleep outside in this weather." It was still cold out, despite the winter being over. Spots of snow are still seen. It's not healthy to sleep outside. "Name's Avir, by the way."

I see. Well, I'm looking forward to this roleplay then.
@Banana

Javier has seen weirder things than that so *shrugs*.
Interest right here!

Just for clarification, Guardians use swords and shields or it depends on the person? I imagine they are close ranged too, so they could protect the magical girls in the olden times.

I'm also not used to using dice in a roleplay so I'm kind of exploring new territory here. Please forgive me if I misunderstand things.

Can't believe I didn't see the question earlier. I vote yes.
Nancy started to blabber on about the patients being cooped up and just getting antsy. He listened to the end, occasionally nodding when she made a point. Her last statement tugged a smile on his face. How nice. How very nice. She was probably an angel that had descended upon this asylum to care for everyone inside, patient or otherwise. 'Hulog ng langit' was how the Filipinos said it. She was so kind-hearted that it actually pained Joshua to see her work here, in this godforsaken place that does who knows what to its patients.

"Indeed, it would be nice if you are able to improve the quality of living in this place." He said with a nod. "But I doubt you can do it. I doubt anyone can do it, besides Doctor Greene and he's too focused on... well, whatever the hell he does." He continued to speak. He doesn't care if Doc Greene hears about this or not. It's not like he was badmouthing the guy. At least, he isn't saying it out loud. The guy's too fake for Joshua's comfort. "But if you're planning on doing it, it would probably be best to appeal to the other nurses and the guards." He suggested. Might not be a serious idea but he was throwing this out there should Nancy ever think of going through it. However, there are no recreational events in this place. After all, it's not crazies they're dealing with. They're dealing with traitors, deserters, well-trained mercenaries and others. He overheard a doctor saying that they didn't need any of those because there's nothing to reform. They're here for another reason.

It was jail, but at the same time, it's not.

He placed his hands in his pockets. "However, you did not really answer my earlier question." Joshua pointed out, pertaining to the weird ideas Sasha had been spouting off. "But I understand if it is patient confidentiality. Although I won't be surprised if he said something along the lines of something in this hospital is weird, and that it's dangerous. That's the talk of patients after all." Not only the patients, mind you, even the guards. No one knew what was happening besides the head guards and it gives the others the creeps.

"There's something going on here. And I advise you to keep yourself to keep sharp Nancy. You're probably the only nurse the patients trust and that puts you in a terrible situation."

@Inda
"Hm?" Joshua looked sideways to look at Nancy as she mentioned grilled chicken day. Yes, that was today wasn't it? It was probably the closest thing the inmates had to a calendar since they weren't given any. You know, since they might use it as a weapon against them. Sometimes Joshua wonders what kind of ideas flow through the people who make the rules. Elizabeth was given paper and crayons, but not a calendar? It just makes you wonder.

Before he could reply to what she said, she had changed the subject. The subject being Sasha Belov, a patient who had arrived about a year prior to now. He was a Russian mercenary, believed to be part of a group that worked for the American government. One mission went wrong and he was almost sent to prison but was bailed out by the government. And now, here he was. In a place probably worse than a prison.

"I know of him, yes. But he doesn't fall under my jurisdiction whenever he needs to take his meds." Joshua replied. He knew that he should be thankful to whatever god was out there when he wasn't assigned to Sasha's sector. Sure, he would patrol there but not when he had to take his medications. "A lot of my co-workers talk about him though. Him and his hatred for medications are a cause of headache for them." And other muscle pains considering how much he resists.

"Weird ideas like?"
