Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Julio followed the rest of the crowd towards the classroom along with the team. He had his hands on his jacket's pockets, but he kept his distance from the others and mostly kept to the side, avoiding contact with everyone. He looked relaxed, but he was quite worried that he might get a panic attack if he stuck too close. Once they slipped into the classroom, he sat down with the rest of the team, preferring the far end rather than the ones inside.

Everything about this school's tech just had to remind him of home.

He listened intently on the explanation - but it ended up just being what they expected it to be. The subject name had been self-explanatory after all. His eyes trailed to the monitor. Ah, so that's how they'll pick randomly. 'Wheel of Fate', he could say. Pitting a student against another... He wasn't looking forward to one-on-one fighting as he works more as support than a tank. But he might as well try.

But he didn't volunteer. He'd like to observe first before he fights. At the mention of the nurse, he turned his attention to her. She seemed a little too excited. Maybe she's looking forward to taking care of a student? Unlikely. With Aura protecting them, it should give them ample protection unless someone goes overboard. He didn't seem to pay much attention to her physical appearance... but her 'assets' were much too unavoidable to see to not notice.

He quickly tore away his eyes from the nurse with the question 'how can she lug that around all day, everyday' and then looked back at Miss Lariet. From the incident earlier, he guessed that Asher and Terrance would be the ones to fight on the first day - but that was only a possibility.
Myno

The Manakete wanted to smirk when the three dwarves were sent back thanks to his fire breath, but he knew not to focus on that only, and not to celebrate on minor victories like that. As if to emphasize on that, the two other dwarves were already hacking away at his scales. He let out a roar of anger and then spun around, his tail would hit one of the dwarves and he would attempt to grab another one with his mouth. If successful, he would flail around and throw it away.

Barbaric? Yes. Needed? Perhaps not. But that was the only thing he thought that he could do. He certainly couldn't fly, lest he be barraged with arrows that would most likely hurt, as evidenced by the rocky flight of Roane and Taka.

Whether or not he would succeed, he would, once again, propel himself backwards to keep his distance, but still took extra precautions to not get involved on the other fights. He had enough on his hands. Wait, didn't he have another- His train of thought was cut off when Victoria told him that she'll be back and to hold the dwarves off for a while. Myno would sigh in exasperation but he had no other choice in the matter. He let out a grunt of approval before shooting a fire ball at the group of dwarves that were closing in with the attempt to scatter and disorient them.
Ryu Wakamatsu

Ryu's head throbbed - eyes threatening to close as he walked down the street to Kichijoji Academy. The stake-out last night proved to be fruitless as the criminal did not show himself. The kidnapper wanted a million yen ransom for a young girl, the daughter of a big shot CEO, and the kidnapper told the Anti-Skill to bring the money and he'll bring the child. No harm shall be done to the child if they don't attack. He was willing to aid the Anti-Skill when his father alerted him of what was happening, and he happily accepted the job. Nothing had happened. The kidnapper never came and the child was never found. Anti-Skill and Judgement alike were dispatched to search for the criminal's hideout. Another group had successfully found it and quickly incapacitated the kidnapper and retrieved the girl. What time did that happen?

Five a.m. He could only get an hour of sleep in before he had to wake up for school this time. And thus his zombie-like state. Good thing his house was really close to the Academy so he didn't need to worry about being late with only an hour of preparation. He yawned again. This was bad. He would fall asleep on class if this continues on. He even almost ignored Yuki as he passed the teacher, but it was a good thing that he snapped out of it and then took the flyer and bowed his head at the teacher before heading in.

An assembly? Great. It was almost assured that he would fall asleep there. Hopefully it won't be anything too important. It would give him precious sleeping ti-

He was snapped out of his thoughts way too quickly and his sleep just quickly exited him as the shockwave Mi released sailed in front of him. His hair stood on end as he stumbled back, now more aware of his surroundings than earlier this morning. He could feel his heart thumping against his chest.

What the heck? Only a few people use their powers so freely. His eyes locked onto Mi's downed figure, and she would certainly see him.

Approaching her with quick strides, he said, "I don't think you should expel energy like that when you're in a.. er, crowded area." It was an attempt to say that she actually should avoid using her powers so carelessly like that. If she were to harm someone accidentally, then that would be bad.

Robyn

Robyn padded out to the clearing, sleepy but eyes full of excitement. She was usually part of the morning patrol, and in all actuality, she was quite disappointed that she woke up so late. She caught a glimpse of red running out of the clearing and into the forest. It originally bewildered until the scent of a deer caught her nose. Thinking that Kinow had it covered, she paid no further attention to it. She was sure the other Hunters would follow suit, or Kinow would howl if he needed any help.

She felt that today was a good day. Then again, she felt everyday is a good day. She scanned the clearing for any other wolves - there was their resident albino wolf, Luna, and then the pack leader, Angelwing. No surprise there. As far as she could remember, Luna was part of the night patrol. She must've been tired. Her mind raced to whether or not she should approach Luna, ask how the patrol went and if there was anything to note. The internal battle would go on as she slowly walked towards her but was snapped out of it when she noticed the dirty white fur of the Alpha only a few inches away from her. Although she wasn't on a crash course towards him, but she at least should greet him. "Good morning Angelwing." She said, happiness oozing out of every word, and then she dipped her head.

Figuring that he was waiting for the others to rise, she finally approached Luna and sat beside her. Psyching herself up, she spoke, "Hey Luna, anything to watch out for on patrol?" It sounded like Robyn chose her words carefully. She tended to do so around Luna, given that the wolf never spoke much to others after her recent death of her littermate. Like other wolves, she figured that she was still grieving, but that shouldn't stop her from at least talking to the wolf - even for a short while... right?

Day of the Dance, Mather Memorial High School

Evander blinked, his hands dangling at his sides. He felt heat. For the first time in his life, he felt like he was in absolute hell. Although he was sure that it was far worse for the others students, as he was emitting cold air that kept him from feeling the true intensity of the heat that the fire was exuding. It took another moment to settle in that he was inside a burning building along with the other students. He saw Sir Jonas beckoning the students outside and he followed the stream of panicked students out of the burning gymnasium. Once he finally took in a breath of fresh air, he was tempted to collapse then and there.

Before the paramedics could arrive and examine him, as per protocol, he slipped out of the school and into the streets. He couldn't let them touch him, lest he reveal his cold skin and inevitable interrogation. He had to keep going. He muttered something under his breath. He was sure Emily was fine; she should've been with her friends anyway. He let out a shaky breath. What had transpired inside that place? Yes, he remembered simply watching the dance when suddenly there was fire and screaming. But... he felt like he had used his power. It was like there was a tingling feeling in his body, and his hands were cold despite the heat. Why had he used it though? There was no reason to. And with that kind of heat, it would've been hard to make something.

He unlocked the door and headed into his house. Stripping off the thick clothing he wore, he immediately collapsed onto the bed. He was more than sure that his parents would talk to him tomorrow when he woke up. Because why wouldn't they? There was a fire started and practically burned the gymnasium of Mather Memorial High School. And he was there, along with the other students. But for now, he won't worry about that. He surrendered himself to the sweet embrace of sleep.

Day after the Dance, Dario Household

Contrary to what Evander expected, the dining room was absolutely silent with only the sound of utensils hitting the plate to fill the void. None of his parents seemed to comment about the dance. Whether or not this disappointed him, he still kept the neutral expression that he always had on his face. His father excused himself as he finished the last bites of his food and then left for work, leaving his mother and he by themselves. Evander stood up, but before he could leave, his mother spoke.

"Are you alright? I heard there was a fire at the school." Mary's tone was laced with worry. For some reason, Evander felt a rush of relief run through his body. He guessed he did kind of fear that his parents had not cared about him anymore. But it seems that was not the case.

"'Nay, I'm fine." His mother tongue slipped out as he called her mother. However the mother did not find that surprising as they usually mixed all three languages they knew when they are speaking to each other. "There was a fire. Don't know how it started but..." He shrugged.

"Good." The woman breathed a sigh of relief as she fixed the plates on the table and placed them on the sink. "I hope they find out what caused it... or perhaps not?" She turned on the tap water and let it run against the porcelain plates.

"What do you mean?"

"While I believe that it could've been something technical. There's also the matter of the them... people like us." Mary began cleaning the plates and utensils used. She then shook her head, "Anyway, you should rest for now."

Evander nodded and then headed upstairs once more. He was looking forward to going back to school on Monday though. Why... well, he'd like to see and hear what the investigations have produced. Taking a seat on his chair and booting up his computer, he began playing online video games. Nothing to do over the weekend anyway, unless the police come knocking on his door to question him about last night's happenings.

As he was about to get on his fifth round for the day, his phone began ringing and he had to set aside everything to pick it up. It was Emily, at least she was fine. But he knew this was going to be a very, very, long talk so he turned the computer off and then leaned back on the chair to make himself comfortable.

"To start it off, any injuries on your part?" And the conversation continued from there.

Things were taking a turn for the worse and Julio wasn't sure whether or not he would fight when things came to that. However, a voice boomed out that told them to stop. Julio turned to the voice to see Miss Lariet and Yasmin standing by the doorway. Oh good, and he had to admit, Yasmin was fast. He kept silent as the teacher walked towards the group and told them to get to class. Despite her being all cute-looking and stuff, Julio knew not to cross her. She was a teacher for a reason, despite that kind of appearance.

The crowds began to disperse and Julio made his way towards Yasmin. "Good job in getting the teacher that quickly. I think if you arrived a second later, we'd have a fight on our hands." He pointed out before looking towards the rest of the team and waited for them before going to class as ordered. Julio seemed to be quick to put the incident behind him, but it was burnt in his mind. He knew now who the people he needed to avoid were. He didn't think he would get along with them.
Hm. I am interested in this roleplay and I will drop this CS for you as an offering. Constructive criticism will be, of course, much appreciated.
