Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Oh, he changed his ways? Guess having a student body who doesn't want to shake your hand in graduation would open your eyes to just how stupid of a principal you were.

He tried to expel you? Please do tell.

Think of it as something to lighten the mood. Or worsen it, depending on whoever is being nicknamed. I'm sure our Felinia peeps won't be appreciating it too much. Especially coming from a human.

We'll see what she'll go with when the time comes.

Though I have a sneaking suspicion that she'll alter between midget, kid and shortie.
@UraharaSteph

I think the worst part of the nicknames are that most aren't nicknames aimed at their good points, but nicknames aimed at their bad points.

Like how she will call Patricia 'Midget', Ki'Tann 'Grumpy' and so on.

Can't think of anything for Marissa and Azazel though. Hm...
@Necrophage

Ooh, someone to call 'kitty'.

I swear, I might get Adira killed with her nicknaming skills.

Damn bro, that's just...

Well, at least it's all over now. Hope your school has a new principal now.

Aw, though I suppose they can't stop you guys hanging out and all right? How about sports themed events?
Oh? Most of the proms here include all high school levels.

Though it's not as serious as yours.
The sound of the bell bothered Kenji, more than the others. To others, it would have hurt as each swing caused a louder bang. To Kenji, the last ones were just deafening. He almost dropped his guard and get attacked by the skeletons, but animal instinct took over and he swiped the skeleton away with sharpened claws. Ears and tails threatened to pop out due to his lack of concentration. But it ended before he could transform halfway. It was good too, but it made him stop for a moment or two.

Kenji sighed in relief once the talisman has been placed upon the gashadokuro's head, rendering every danger around them (besides themselves) incapacitated. The smaller skeletons disappeared and only the head of the gashadokuro remained. His eye lingered upon it for a moment, processing what had happened. He had not seen a yokai rampage in years, and even then, nothing was as aggressive as this one. They were usually peaceful, now just wanting to blend in with humans more than anything.

He followed the others to the portal, keeping to the back while trying to erase the ringing in his ears. His Celestial Brush was safely tucked in the folds of his clothing and he listened closely to what the priest had been saying. City of mirrors, his grandfather had mentioned that. It was old folklore with the humans, forgotten by many, but it remained with his family. He thought of it as only legend for why was there a need to separate themselves from the humans. They were getting along fine now, so he brushed it off and placed it at the back of his mind.

Finding out that it was all true wasn't something Kenji had expected. But the explanation was sound and the rampaging yokai was enough to make him believe the shrine priest, Izawa. Ah yes, the shrine priest. Someone he has never really met before. He only met with another one to whom he gives the gifts for New Year. Anyhow, hearing that the world's fate is at stake and it rests in their hands to not let the disease spread to Earth wasn't something that settled in quickly to the okami.

But he held not questions. He heard the oni ask about the reward and the raijuu asking why she is electric. He wanted to reply but decided to leave it up to the priest to tell her about it, thinking that the priest would have a vast knowledge about the yokai that dot Japan.

"Giving a stake like that makes it all the more harder to refuse." He mumbled. From this, one would be able to decipher that he agrees with working with the others to save the city, and most likely, the world.
Luna let out a small sigh as Ashton seemed that he was going to engage in a back and forth with Violet. Both were raised to be the best, being one of the rich people which made them prideful, arrogant... stubborn. Though these traits aren't necessarily bad, they weren't good for working together. But both of their smarts is something they would need, especially since there were only four of them. They can't afford to lose another.

It was a good thing that Jennifer decided to join up. Now they only awaited for the decision of Violet... however, it would seem glaringly obvious that she had made her decision even before she got here. She was already packed, and ready to go. Luna wasn't sure why her parents let her go so easily. Then again, with the dangers looming over their heads, they might have figured that it might be for the best if Violet disappeared for a while. And maybe the fact that they knew her (and probably Ashton) helped with letting her go. They must have deemed it safe.

Oh, there was this large possibility that they were utterly wrong.

Her burner phone vibrated, momentarily shocking her. Odd. She hasn't even used it yet. Her hand slipped into her pocket and took out the old-school flip phone that was the cheapest burner she could find, and then opened it. A text message from an unknown number - it wasn't even anyone from HQ. Who was this? Her eyes scanned the message before her and only a twitch could be seen by the others as her reaction, but it was her body stiffening and preparing for a fight. A hard fight.

She slid the phone back in her pocket. She should probably have another disposable phone, this one has been tracked by some unknown person who seems to know of what the SWAT is planning to do. The decision to believe them or not was something she couldn't make alone. Her eyes leveled to the others and said, "Someone I don't know sent a message. Said the SWAT would be coming and to take everyone and leave through the front."

There was only one entrance and exit in their room - the door that they entered from. If anyone was going to barge in, it would be there. It was closed, for now, and Luna strained her ears to hopefully hear anything outside. She had her automatic rifle ready, safety off and finger on the trigger. She was not known for being trigger happy but her finger was twitching. It may be a lie, it may not be. She's not taking any chances.
