Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Akira listened to the man's instructions and description of the place. Ah, indeed, he's heard only of good things pertaining to the library of the Scholars. With every knowledge known to mankind packed in the pages of leather-bound books. It might be an exaggeration, but he still wanted to believe it. Maybe he could even contribute a bit. While the Bakeneko species do not usually harm with humans, they do not tend to mingle either. Most of them do not go down the scholastic road in life, and rarely share any of their own secrets. While Akira wasn't too keen in giving out any information regarding his own species, but he knew plenty more that might help the young Scholars. Key word that it might. If rumors were to be believed, they must have already known what he knows.

"Many thanks, Scholar." Akira replied with a smile. "I also look forward to our next meeting and I do hope we can discuss things in the future." The Bakeneko flourished a bow and the Scholar left. With that, he left as well. Using the same feline flexibility he had when he was still a cat, he managed to hoist himself up onto the roofs once more. Now, instead of being in cat form where he could inconspicuously blend in with the background, he was in his hybrid form with his arms outstretched to the side - not that he particularly needed it since his tail covered the need for balance - and was in plain sight for everyone to see. It wasn't like anyone batted an eye at him. There were some who called him out to ask if he needed any help to get down, but nothing more than that after he dismissed them.

The Bakeneko took his sweet time heading to the library. He even stopped over at one of the stalls to buy some fish. He managed to consume four smoked fish on a stick - and then some more meat from the stall beside it. He spent quite a some money for that, but he didn't mind. He still had a lot in store, as he imagined most of the ones who were invited here were. Exchanging words with the store owners allowed him some insight on what the history of this place, and how they felt about having Children of Dusk around - something that hasn't been accepted before. They seemed to be alright with it, as long as none of them caused trouble. Akira couldn't promise something like that, but maybe the library would keep him too busy.

He retreated back to the roof with a last smoked fish on a stick and continued his walk - looking around here and there as he made his way to the center of the city to find the library. Perhaps he would bump into something interesting and worthwhile. It has also been a while since his last interaction with his fellow Children of Dusk, aside from the Kitsune from earlier but she was an exception. He began humming rather loudly as he walked while biting off a part of the fish he was holding.
Rick the Monferno

Location: Kelly's Cafe
Interactions: @Shiny Keldeo

Rick's mood completely dampened when Drip mentioned that she didn't bring any extra money as getting it was hard for her nowadays. That was understandable. He keeps on going on missions, regardless of having a party along or not. So, typically, money flows in regularly. Well, he did live alone and don't really use all that much money anyway aside from food so... With the recent activity of the Stargate, then they'll have more than enough jobs. That much he was aware of. "Ah~ I'll just cancel then." He said. He wasn't famished anyhow, so he can just watch Drip eat and come back later with his money.

Before he could raise his hand to tell Kelly to cancel his order, she went over and told them that she would put it on the tab. Before he could say that it was fine and he could live with not eating for a while, she went on to say that it was no trouble at all. Rick gave her a big grin - getting back to his happy demeanor. "Thanks a bunch Kelly. I'll be sure to pay it off later." He reassured her. Rick did only leave his money so it wasn't going to be a problem.

He looked back at Drip when she started talking. He let out a genuinely nervous laugh and said, "Too true." Rick knew that fully well. His accident prone nature is what makes him the least possible candidate to be a mentor. He didn't mind. Having someone under his wing was cool and all, but being too careful wasn't exactly his kind of nature. "Really now? Care to share?" He was quite interested in this.
@Rockin Strings

He's probably really busy, or took a break. It's probably alright for now, and just give the role back to him if he comes back.

Ferrian

Ferrian watched as everything unfolded. Kazador didn't feel the need to actually join them because... well, the Dwarves never backed down from a fight. The Manakete decided to follow them as they retreated - the Royals agreeing that they should do it. Honestly, Ferrian didn't even like the idea of doing anything - let alone fighting. Did he not simply wish for a simple nap? The white haired Manakete couldn't help but grumble. Unlike the others, he didn't need to particularly do anything. They were all here for the peace meeting, he was just an innocent bystander who thought that maybe setting up camp here might have been a good idea. It definitely wasn't, since the peace meeting was happening, but it wasn't like he knew that it was going to happen at that point in time. He was looking forward to leaving this place and putting all this behind him.

However, as they neared the area, someone was blocking their path. A Varjan by the name of... Gnazgraz? He let out a sigh. Varjans, always looking for a fight. That was when an Archanean regiment was nearing them. That was when Anna said that they should split up. Ferrian thought it was a good idea, and knew that he had no choice but to aid them for now. "Varjans are always so bloodthirsty aren't they?" He muttered. He always had a strong distaste for them. He'd like to end this quickly. "I apologize in advance for my... rather flashy fighting style." He told them before his forearm began to glow - or to be more accurate, his arm guard. The Dragonstone began to glow violently and enveloped him in a bright light. In a moment after, a dark white dragon appeared in his position and let out a fireball towards the Varjans. It was time to scatter them.
General Luna

Luna looked at Kazador and then nodded. "Naga guide you." She muttered, motioning her right hand that was like a sort of prayer for warriors before they plunge themselves into war. She knew that Kazador didn't believe in Naga as they had different Gods and Goddesses, but she hoped that the thought would not be lost in him. She moved to leave with the others with her left hand on the hilt of her sword to be prepared to unsheathe it when the time comes. Luna stopped with the others when they encountered a Varjan Captain by the name of Gnazgraz. She never did like Varjans, as speaking with them usually led to brawls or duels or... well, considering their nature, it should be clear what the others are. Unsheating her sword, she was prepared to fight but then heard voices from the back.

An Archanean Paladin ordered a charge on them because they aided Kazador. Dwarves were protecting them, but as Prince Jarde said, they weren't going to last forever. Something seemed to snap in Luna. She turned to Jerod and said, "Like you said, I was planning to pull a rank. Now... well, let's just say they have betrayed what we have come here for." Their punishment was obvious. Luna turned around and then calmly walked towards them. With her shield ready and her right hand wielding the sword, she approached them with silent fury. She knew these people, but she didn't much care for that now.

"Am I truly the one who should be branded a traitor?" There were no reasons as she quickly jumped into the fray with the other royals who were assigned to aid the Dwarves.

The cat's head bounced between the Scholar and the Kitsune with keen interest. Unlike the two who were feeling forced to show even the slight inclination of actual kindness, Akira was more than happy to speak. Now if only the two actually allowed such action. "None huh? Shame." He said to the Kitsune but his tail wagged once at the mention of the honey the Scholar had. "Ohoho! Honey hm?" He fell silent as they arrived at the dorms. His eyes trailed away from the path as he looked towards his room - which was quite far from hers actually. Oh well.

His ears flicked at the sound of oathbound. Ah, of course. Their polite smiles and soft spoken ways were simply because they needed to. It made sense. Akira didn't mind. He was all too used to it. Around his own kind, it was assured that most would be taken at face value - few thinking of even faking their own feelings. Though, when you spend enough time with humans and more intellectually inclined Children of Dusk, you would get more than enough of your fair share of faked smiles and polite laughs.

After she thanked the young Scholar, the Kitsune turned to him after seemingly forgetting about him for a second. And honestly, he didn't mind. But she did speak to him. Giving her a grin even in his cat form, he bobbed his head up and down. "I look forward to our next meeting." And indeed he was. He always met people twice - whether in the span of days or years, it is assured that he will meet them again. Akira never forgets a face after all, and he gets around.

After that, the Scholar turned his attention to the feline yokai. "Bring me your best course!" He ordered with a haughty voice before breaking into a laugh and shaking his head. "I'm kidding." He said after his outburst so that the man knew to not actually do that. While human food was delicious, raw food was something he was craving right now. If he wasn't mistaken, there should be a shop for that.

"Keep your honey too it's fine. I doubt where I will be going would allow food inside. Nor my feline form." He stretched and then transformed into his hybrid form. Standing up and stretching his now human limbs, he now looked a the human on eye level. "Would you be so kind as to show me where the library is?" He looked back at the path leading out of the dorms. There was much he wanted to see and learn here, and the library was the first things he wanted to visit for any knowledge of any sort.

Sorry! Like I said in Discord, I fell asleep a tad bit earlier than expected but I'll try to have a reply up later.
Ah yeah, working in it but it's kind of exams. I'll try to get it up by tomorrow.
Furitta clicked her tongue as the kick connected with the man's arm - but seemingly unharmed as she jumped away. Oblivious to the plan the two were cooking up, she flipped backwards easily and took out two zombified students. As she struggled with three others, she saw Talon jump up with Serpentine barreling towards the Instructor. Wide eyed, she watched as the newest addition to the group was picked clean off the ground and thrown to the side with a powerful kick.

Anger boiling in her, she flipped yet another one onto the ground and looked menacingly at the Instructor. Forgetting for a mere moment that there was another hero besides her that was still alright, she didn't tell anyone about what she was about to do. "Festinatio." With the order said, her legs were enveloped in an orange light which disappeared just as quickly. Her run towards the Instructor was fast and surprising. Caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the ferret-themed hero, she was able to tackle him down and put him in a leglock - essentially putting the two out of commission as she managed to position herself on his back.

Attempting to wrestle him to complete submission or to at least make him let go of the whip, she continued her struggle against the Instructor. Perhaps it was good that the suit managed to give her enhanced skills, or else she would have been easily thrown off.

Akira was quite disappointed at the lack of response from the male - but the kitsune's response made up for it. At the feel of her leg moving, he quickly jumped back and then stood up on his hind legs. An odd sight to see a black cat standing without any problem. He crossed his arms, mouth forming a teasing smile. "It pains me to see that one from my homeland would reciprocate so harshly."

While the Kitsune clan certainly isn't above their own mischievous ways, he is aware of how much 'holier' they are than your common yokai like himself. They were way above the need to revolt against humans even if they are newly-born or turned. Akira himself had only stopped because of how old he has grown to be. Nevertheless, he knew that the Kitsune was above him and flourished a bow. "Merely looking for someone who has food. Surely the sight of a cat doing so isn't much of a surprise to you. This place is unfamiliar, as I am sure you can relate."

As the two began to move towards the dorms, where he was just a while ago, he followed but this time was on his four legs. It seemed like a cat was tagging along a Scholar and a Kitsune just because of their natural aura. Now that he looked at her, it would seem that she wasn't afraid of showing her half-self. Now what kind of repercussions would that have in the world before this? One where humans resented them greatly? Certainly, she would be attacked. What a time to be alive - where they could show themselves without fear or worry that the Children of Dawn would harm them.

Indeed. What a time to be alive.

I meant both Himari's and Alisdair's. Sorry for the confusion.
