Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Ah, I'm go for Discord.

General Luna

With two weeks into the adventure, Luna had come into terms with going back to Archanea without thinking too much about it. One week into it, she was still thinking about it, but was growing extremely tired about it. The general soon just decided to let it go. The new challenge was trying to get through the night without waking up, so that he may actually get a good night's sleep. Two weeks into it, and there was still no progress. Still haunted continuously by nightmares of people she had come to know, but also come to kill. She tried to not bother any of the others from her waking nightmares, knowing that it would just cause needless worry for them.

Seeing the familiar town near the border of Archanea, she was put at ease now that she was in familiar territory. It wasn't in her homeland, but it was close. And close meant safer, unless there were bandits hanging around. But she was pretty sure that there were none around here. Hopefully. She trailed behind Emma, Shade and Dancia as they walked to the town. Luna was always leading the vanguard, given her position as general, but she was always more than happy to take to the rear. She did look around as they entered, wondering if someone she knew was around. Travelers from all around. It was a good place. She had hidden her badges that would give away that she was from Archanea - nor that she was a general of any sort. Bringing any more shame to Archanea was not to her interests.

Then came the shouting.

She saw the four men about to be hanged. She saw the robed man. And she heard the words - that the cause were these people - or at least their people. Ortusians. Luna was well aware of their transgressions from before, summoning Gaia and plunging the whole continent into war, but that didn't exactly mean that their descendants were that bad. But wait, Ortusians weren't at Dragonrage Pass, so why are they being blamed from this?

"Ortusians? Out here. Were they looking for something? They fully know that the area isn't too kind ot them." Luna muttered, enough to be heard by the girls around her. She placed a hand on her sword, and her shield was now on her left forearm. "This is injustice." She said as her grip on her sword tightened. Luna looked like she was about to jump into the fray to protect them.

But then someone had already cut all the nooses to hang the Ortusians. Luna blinked. When did she get there? Nevertheless, this proved to be good as they were unharmed. But everyone rallied against her. The Ortusians must pay, they still think, and pay with their blood they shall. Luna turned to Emma and the others. "We must help the girl. We all were there at Dragonrage Pass. We know the Ortusians aren't at fault, they weren't even there. Not in the vicinity even, we know. We've checked." Whether or not they would agree, she would unsheathe her blade.

There was no time. She would hope to settle this peacefully, so close to Archanea and so close to anyone who might see her... rash actions. But she will protect anyone who is innocent. And these Ortusians was such. Therefore, she must protect them.

Fighting had been so frequent here. And it was damning. Despite being a soldier, she would never wish for this much bloodshed. If only there was a way to stop them without having to fight.
Sorry guys but I'm swamped with schoolwork. I can post tomorrow, I think, but yeah...

Gabriel listened to Jack as he explained that there was more to the story and this stranger who gave him the gloves was indeed eccentric - but kind in a way. Again, not the most far off story out there. He's heard a lot worse than that, to be perfectly honest. So he simply nodded in reply, choosing not to really bother the man any more than he already has. He's said his piece, and it really didn't look like he'll say any more. Doesn't seem to be the kind of guy to be swayed by a few coins, since it looked like he had a pocket full of them. Oh well, looks like they mystery of where he can get one to at least study was going to remain that. A mystery.

That was when an Ipotane rolled in. Gabriel wouldn't have turned so quickly if he hadn't heard the guy smack his head onto the doorframe. Upon seeing the male, Gabriel's eyes seemed to sparkle with glee - attention now towards the Ipotane than the others. He's met several before, but never one that isn't on some sort of official business. He never gets to speak one in personal terms and it's quite disappointing. Maybe right now would be a good time? He really shouldn't waste time pondering whether or not interacting with someone was a good idea when he had already reached over to tap him on the shoulder - before reeling back as Fauve turned her attention to him.

"Huh?" He looked at her with an odd look as his mind processed the sudden shift in attention - not to mention the foot that was wagging in front of him, not that he seemed to particularly mind. When he did finally process it, however, he gave her a small grin. "Nope, nothing really comes to mind." He said with a small shrug once more as he took hold of the moonshine and then swirling it - staring at it for a moment as he seemed to sincerely think if he would like to share anything with the bunch of people around him. "I'm just the guy you go to when you want something enchanted or studies or something." A real nobody, Gabriel Saldosius was, compared to the rest of his family. With his attention successfully caught by Fauve, he seemed to forget about the fact taht he even tapped the Ipotane to get his attention.

What really surprised Gabriel was the fact that the man was actually accomodating - answering the questions without getting all defensive. You don't get to see that many people here. Usually, people who own such high profile magical artifact need a lot more persuasion and a lot more bribing before they answer questions. That or they just flaunt around what they have so that they would be regarded as 'cool' or 'awesome' or something close to that. Gabriel wasn't sure if he was glad or wary that this person wasn't like that at all.

Of course, it may be because the man was lying all about it with a straight face. That was always an option. But Gabriel always gave people the benefit of the doubt. After all, if there was none, then he wouldn't have any sort of information that he believed was true. Then, he'd actually be royally screwed. Besides, he wasn't alien to lying about how he got things. After all, putting an exaggerated story along with an item always increases the chance of it getting sold. Gabriel has firsthand experience on that, along with acual teachings from his sneaky father. But what would this man gain from lying to them?

As Gabriel wasn't really paying much attention to Fauve, given how she didn't exactly have anything of interest and seemed to be just your run-on-the-mill traveler, he was taken by surprise when she suddenly burst out into laughter and called him out on his lie. Wow, she really was shaping up to be one of the noisy ones. Gabriel didn't mind as much as others - especially since they are in a tavern and taverns usually attract these types of people. She's a very boisterous person, that was for sure. Gabriel turned his head when he heard a loud 'squeal' coming from behind him to see the Myti, along withe the rest of the group, looking towards Fauve but then turned back to do what they were doing earlier.

Fauve mentioned how Gabriel would have believed that tale and he let out a small laugh of his own. "I've heard more outragous stories than that." He told the girl with a smile, not even taking a small offense to what she said. "Not saying I fully believe it. Must be more to the story. But really, it's best to give the benefit of the doubt to all the stories you hear. Way before you wouldn't have believed monsters would be walking around, and here we are now." Giving the girl another grin, he gulped down the rest of his mead before asking for another one.

He then turned to Jack and gave him a shrug. "Must have really been quite the eccentric traveler. You wouldn't normally give out something like that for free."

I guess so if we're gunning for a group that's mildly threatening but still overal pretty lighthearted. I feel like I would enjoy this.

As Gabriel waited for time to pass by, more and more interesting people popped up. There was the elf who entered; while the elf didn't exactly do or say anything special, just the mere sight of one got Gabriel all riled up. First it was a Myti, and now an elf? This tavern was attracting all sorts of people, it would seem. Gabriel wondered what these people were doing here and why. Nadska wasn't exactly a town known for... well, anything really. He was only here because he needed a place to stay for the night before moving on. He even thought that he might get lucky and get some information, but no such thing happened and all he got was another potential job once everything was sorted out - whenever that may be.

Next up was someone he really couldn't put a name to. You see, while he could put it off and say that he was human, somewhere inside him doubted that. He didn't even get to a conclusion to that as not even a second later, he felt a very familiar pull from the man's gauntlets. These were no normal gauntlets, that was for sure considering the appearance of it, but it was certianly something else. Something different from normal enchanted ones. Was it even enchanted or was there something else powering that thing? Something about him did give Gabriel second thoughts about approaching the guy. Maybe it was because he seemed a little asocial?

Before he could even move to finally talk with the man about his gauntlets, someone else beat him to it. A woman sauntered in, took a seat, bought some drinks and then began speaking with the man. Wow, where cna he get confidence like that? Gabriel finally stood up after that, but then noticed someone... no, rather something else enter. A magical construct. Gabriel could spot one immediately in a crowd because of how used to them he was. They were the kinds of things that flew out of the shelves once they were put on trade, something his father used to dabble in before Micah ultimately put a stop in what she personally sees as slavery. Up to now, Gabriel still wasn't sure whether or not that was such a good idea.

Nevertheless, he gave the construct a small wave of his hand and a smile.

Proceeding, finally, to the rough man and the confident woman, he took a seat beside them and waved the bartender another round. "I'm just plain curious where you got them. They're unlike anything I've ever seen, and I'm in the business of collecting magical items." He said after he got his drink and then taking a swig from it. His tone was particularly excitable with curiosity mixed in, but it seems that the man's general aura kept him from grabbing his hands and examining it. Raising his hand slightly, he continued. "Sorry for the sudden entrance, really, I'm just curious."

Am I the only one who thinks it's funny that the current oldest in our roster of characters is the one with the most childish tendencies who practically jumps up and down like a child when you give him something remotely interesting?

Hancock, Fahrenheit and a couple of his men wiped out the main leaders of the opposition. The raiders suddenly shut up and decided to play by Hancock's rules. That meant less things to worry about, but now onto the next problem. Hancock usually didn't like always leading the join; after all, he was the kind of guy who liked going out every once in a while to learn something new about the Commonwealth. But looks like he'll be here for a good long time before he can leave it along.

"Fucking hell..." He muttered to himself as he took another drag from his cigarette, leaning his shotgun against his desk as he waited for the report.

After a few hours, Whistler came back with his entire map riddled with red and blue marks, along with yellow lines. The young man spread the map onto the mayor's desk and began pointing at each mark, explaining in detail the conditions of the buildings, how to get there and if it would be good to go.

The mayor ruffled his hat as he grumbled something incoherent under his breath. "Looks like we need some manpower huh?" He said as he got off of his seat. "Time to ask the people if they want to eh?" He then turned to Fahrenheit. "You and Whistler go to the Triggermen. Looks if they can give us some security. Tell 'em to name their price."

Fahrenheit nodded and Whistler couldn't help but say, "With all due respect, mayor, the Triggermen?" The male didn't seem too happy with the choice of security. "Can't we just have the Neighborhood Watch? Or... Or arm some of our people. Surely they know how to shoot."

Hancock slammed his hand on the ground but had a cocky grin on his face. "Don't worry, we get along well." The mayor, after all, works with them from time to time in cases such as these.

He then went out to make a speech to ask the people what they think about the situation. They rallied towards him, especially the new, more law-abiding citizens as they wished to help better their new settlement. In the meantime, Fahrenheit and Whistler were headed for the leader of the local Triggermen. The leader was more than willing to help out - provided, of course, that they pay for it. The amount of money even made Whistler cast another glance on the amount. Though with no choice, Whistler decided that he would get back to the leader once he had a talk with the mayor.

"This price is ridiculous. It would take so much out of your stash Hancock." Amari pointed out.

Hancock rolled his eyes as he took out another box of Mentats before consuming a pill. "Ain't have much of a choice do we? They got what we need. Out of the walls of Goodneighbor, everythin's fair game. Super Mutants, Feral Ghouls and who knows what else." He then leaned forward on his desk. "We have workers, not fighters. We need protection in and out of our walls. Only mercenary we have here is MacCready."

The radio buzzed to life as Kent Connoly's regular broadcast of The Silver Shroud was on. "And now for the new adventures of the Silver Shrou-" A guard turned the radio off.

Whistler whistled. "Now if only there was a real Silver Shroud eh? They could just wipe the floor with anyone out there." He joked with a small grin on his face.

"That'd be the easy way out, hotshot." Hancock roared with laughter. He collapse onto the seat with crossed arms and then looked at the people inside the room with him. "So, ready to deal with the Triggermen?"

Amari shook her head. "No chance for negotiations? We could give them more space once we've expanded." She suggested. "Or hire some mercenaries from the outside?"

Hancock clicked his tongue. "D'ya really think that they'll be all fine and dandy with that? Dealing with them won't be too bad. 'Sides, if we expand the territory, least there's more chances traders'll come around."

"Well, well, look who's acting like a real mayor." Amari muttered and Hancock let out a laugh in reply.

"Let's get the workers outfitted first. Jerry, go gather them around. We'll start a few days from now." Hancock ordered one of the guards who nodded and then left. "We'll clear the surrounding area first yeah? Who's up to blow some shit up?"

"You know we're in bossman."

"Whatever you say Hancock."
