Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Thurin Stoutarm

The Dwarf listened to Calariel's explaination, and nodded. "Aye, tis a good idea to find out just what is going on around her-"
"Mmmpff...ster Dwarf." he heard from behind him, and turned to see the comely Halfling lass approaching him, chewing heartily upon some cake. She didn't seem to notice that she was taking a nibble even as she walked. "Ellaryn Bracegirdle at you service, and a slice of home in this delicious chocolate cake is yours as well."

Thurin licked his lips and took the plate, giving her a nod. "My thanks! Thurin Stoutarm at yours! I haven't had good cake in years." he exclaimed, and then began to eat his fill with naught but his big hands, devouring the delicious treat in two bites, before wiping his beard upon his mouth. "A fine meal!" he said. He gave a bow to the people of the Inn, and then followed the Hobbit up the stairs, his footsteps more like stomps compared to her quiet footfalls.
Shiver makin' it a party.
Ok, will post tonight after I run some errands.
Also, Thurin doesnt comment on your girl's eyes because as far as he is concerned, all Elves have a bit of tricky magic to them and he waves it off as Elvish sorcery @Luminosity
I shall post sometime tomorrow (after I wake up, that is). Love that this is moving along.
Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

Ro'Kun's eyes widened and he nodded. "Yeah yeah sandwich place." he said, actually jumping from foot to foot. "I'm fricken starving."
He glanced back at the bridge once more though, and saw the two objects having just...vanished. Shiver? He'd figure it out later. The view was sure nice up here though. Really nice. His attention was drawn back to the new girl again when she asked him if he wanted to take a pic with her. "Selfie? Oh yeah, that's what the kids are callin' it." he joked, and nodded. "Sure." He gave an 'I'm too cool for this shit' smile and flexed right beside Gadget. In honesty, Ro'kun wasn't arrogant in the slightest, but he loved joking about it. People assumed he was like that because girls sometimes hovered around him and the fact he had super strength. He was just glad his athletic body was proportionate, and his neck wasn't tree trunk thick. Gadget seemed pretty cool so far, and didn't make assumptions, thankfully.

Geldyr Snow

Off the cobblestone streets and onto the tough earth, Traveler and Geldyr had finally made it to the tournament grounds. He pulled upon Traveler's reigns, sending the horse rearing lightly and turning, giving the Knight a fine view of the scene. Knights, footmen, and archers milled about. Some conversed with one another, casually relaying the previous tournament's events. Others sharpened weapons and fed their horses, and a few mock fights occurred for practice. Upon both sides of the grounds were the bleachers, and above them were the noble chairs. Even higher was the royal table, all overlooking the competition just waiting to begin below.

Geldyr led his steed over to the Scribe assigned to gather information for the tournament roster, and he promptly signed in and showed his heraldry papers. Once past the initial entrance, he dismounted Traveler and led him over to the stables. "It's a fine day, isn't it?" he asked his steed, giving him some food and water before heading out into the open.

Tall and dark haired, with hard muscles and a fair look, he could feel the eyes upon him from some of the onlookers. A few might have even recognized him as a the Bastard of Lore Karlear, house Lear's bannerman. He strode over to the training dummies, confident and self focused at the moment. He unstrapped his belt, and removed his chainmail tunic for a moment, exposing his scarred and sculpted stomach and chest, before donning his sleeveless tunic once more. He grabbed a practice longsword, and stepped back from the dummies.

With practiced steps, he began to slice into the air with a rhythm, forming X's at first, before slowly making his movements more intricate and complicated. Soon his sword was performing routines, blocks and ripostes seemingly coming out of nowhere. His movements were sleek but powerful, and after each routine was done he let out a 'hya'. Suddenly he stepped forward, and hacked at the closest dummy, slicing it beneath its armpits, at the neck, the heart. Before long, he placed his chainmail back on, and continued the drill, stabbing and hacking, and parrying as if his life depending on it. He hadn't used a sword since they had begun traveling. He missed the feel of a blade in his hands.

Calanon (& Brogach)

Location:The Forest, The Campsite
Interacting with: Sona, Keystone, Wagon

Calanon listened to Keystone with an upraised brow, taking everything he said in stride, and comical wariness. "Many thanks friend." "Ah yeah, many thanks for bringin' supper with. Not sure if we can get a fire goin' tonight, though." The Elf looked a bit worriedly as Brogach. "I'mma just..." he mumbled, and mounted his Elk steed to make sure there'd be no mistakes about his friend just in case. As soon as he leaped, he felt the small purchase his feet got on the mud. The rain wasn't seeming to let up, he noticed. He'd lost his cloak in his last battle within the forest, but no matter. He was used to harsh conditions. He wouldn't complain at least, as he noted not for the first time the feeling of his thick, matted hair against his scalp.

“No, it’s ok. Apology is accepted.” he heard from the wagon, and his dark blue eyes flicked to the lovely Elf girl nestled against the great Wolf. Her smile made him smile, returning the warmth. She seemed a kind soul, and it was nice seeing a fellow Elf as well. He'd enjoy speaking with her perhaps, once they made it to...wherever it was they were going. He realized now that he would be sticking around. So, guard duty it was, like Keystone said. He remained silent for the next while, sharp eyes looking this way and that for any signs of danger.

Unfortunately, danger came in a different sort of way. Not an Orc axe or Gnoll scimitar, but a stuck wagon. He sighed, realizing there would always be some sort of problem on any journey. Eager to be seen as trustworthy, but also out of the decency of his heart and necessity of the situation, he leaped off Brogach and approached Keystone. He almost rolled up his sleeves, before he remembered it would reveal his cursed mark. He might not be muscle bound like the pugilist, but he was fit in body, and his legs were powerful. He got next to the burly man and placed his hands under the wood, doing his best to lift it up with his leg strength.
Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

Ro'Kun smiled at the sudden hug and hugged her back, before holding Shiver at arms length. "You know me, I get lost." She then gave him that playful look, and he winked. "Gadget you coming back to the HQ with me or are you going to find the sandwich shop with the bottomless pit here?" "Sure I can take Gadget with th-wwwhhhhhooooo is Gadget?" He asked, tilting his head. "Oh her! Hi." Ro'Kun gave a lopsided smile and wave. "Let's go grab something to eat while drama stuff happens elsewhere. You know the kind."
He led Gadget away from the drug bust, down the street and turned to the left, then right, then left again. "Hey, tell me something girly." he said finally, hands in his pockets. The muscled youth looked back at the pretty lady. "Are you new in town? Because I...still have no idea where I am."
He turned to see that he was right at the cusp of the river. The huge ass bridge was there too, he saw. He always thought it was cool looking. He wondered how they made such a huge thing. He then squinted. He saw two figures up top he thought. "What the hell...?" he whispered. @Gilgex@Wick
@AustronautI agree. I like playing Dwarfs too much.

Also, I cannot help myself but this came to mind

Cautiously she tucked the pistol back into her belt and stepped into the doorway so she was silhouetted against the doorway. She couldn’t help but pose a little dramatically.
