  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Tell that to my guardsman brothers in arms, they're literally the weakest soldiers in 40k, everything is op to them, ultramarine or not, 😭😭

Fear not.
Those who stand with me shall be my brother.
The Ultramarines aren't OP if they're done well. They just happen to not be sometimes *cough* Matt Ward *cough*
*jots down notes* Uh huh....uuuh huh...
Rhaak leaped in surprise at the winding ball of light, the hardened warrior visage suddenly becoming much younger with the fright, and even a bit niave in a flash, due to the sudden surprise of magic. He collected himself quickly though, blinking. For a second he did let his paranoia get the better of him, but she didn't seem to be attacking him or leading him into any trap. He turned around and placed a hand on the table, grabbing the torch he had placed on the ground and lifting it to see the table's contents.

"Goblins are stupid and this one let its guard down," the tanned warrior replied, matter of fact. Some dust from the surrounding unused cells had him wrinkle his nose, and he wiped his face with his forearm, sniffing while the items on the table became visible. There was an iron long dagger, 3 gold coins, along with some dried beef, a bronze key, and a cup of water not much larger than a few ounces. Rhaak let his instincts drive him first, reaching down for the water cup and lifting it to his lips.

But before he supped, he turned and looked to the Elven maiden that had approached him. He hesitated, and then handed her the cup for her to drink. "Doesn't smell bad like the water and grog they'd been giving us." He told her, ignoring the dryness of his own mouth, and then grabbed the bronze key, holding it up before his face. He didn't know where it led, or if it even mattered. But better safe than sorry.

He'd take a sip of the water if she left any. Somehow, he felt it worse that she drank from his cup rather than the opposite. He felt he had a better constitution.

"Got the coordinates right'chere," the Pilot responded with gusto, placing the coordinates along with the planet's statistics from the log on the display so they could be seen on any of the holo-monitors around the Highlander. Savran suddenly bloomed in front of Sayeeda's eyes from her station. With a surface area of 4.6023×108 km2 and a mass of 4.8675×1024 kg, making it roughly 8/10 the size of old Terra. The atmosphere was clean and breathable.

The terrestrial planet was noticeably hot and humid, its poles the only place where snow resides in any real capacity. As the hologram hovered before Sayeeda, Neil zoomed in the coordinates, pointing toward approximately 36.1627° N, 86.7816° W near a large mountain range, surrounded by various, heavily forested river valleys judging by the outer map. It looked to be a perfect and verdant place for dangerous life, both man and bestial.

"Looks like a nice vacation spot." Neil commented lightly, now entering the outer layer of the planets orbit. He slowed down the thrusters, powering down much of the ship so as to leave less of an electromagnetic pulse as they entered the atmosphere. As the ship started to jutter with turbulence, Neil informed the Captain to hold on as it might get a bit bumpy. As if on cue, the warning light next to Neil began to blink.

Neil blinked along with it, raising an eyebrow and opening up the display monitor once more, just in time to see a heavy missile of an unknown model jetting toward their position, 200 kilometers from their position and closing.

His next words were fast, and as soon as he was done speaking the ship began to spin. "Hope you're holding on girly." The dive bomb toward the planet's surface was quick and controlled, though the air resistance and the unfamiliar atmosphere made it a bit more difficult than Neil would have liked. Still, he wasn't worried at all. If Sayeeda could see him, he'd be grinning. In fact he gave off a manic laughter, half in jest and half in excitement as he dodged the missing that arced just above their plummeting tail.

"Coming back around, of course." Neil said, flipping open the Combat Manuever Panel. His next words were complete jibberish, with no basis in reality. "Breaker breaker four one niner, we have a bogey buttin' into our flank." The Highlander yanked to the left at Neil's handling, the 'Turn and Brake' indicator lighting up as he did so, dodging the missile once more. Glass from somewhere in the ship would shatter as the Highlander jerked to and fro. "Hey, I'mma head down into that valley below us. If it doesn't explode on one of those giant ass trees, shoot this son of a bitch, pretty please?"

The past two days had been interesting with Sayeeda. The casual drinks and playful joke here and there aside, they acted as professionally as any crew would together. Neil had spent half the time making sure the ship was tip top when he wasn't hanging around the Junebug Captain. He would have expected she would have smacked his head once they got out of R.I.P. space, because he had been napping at the helm, admittedly. Feet on the dashboard, head back and hands behind. Only the sudden jerk of the ship broke him out of his reverie.

"I'm up," he said groggily, blinking the sleep away as Sayeeda's voice popped up on the comm. The information fed into him as if he was wide awake though, his mind like a machine when it needed to be. "Ooo, sixty-three? Couldn't have done it better myself. Well, I did do it myself. But ya know." He realized the comm had been on when he had said it, and though he didn't entirely mind, he was mainly joking with himself.

"Aigh't Captain, let's see what we got here," he replied to her assessment (and image she had sent) of the Imperial cruisers hovering above Savran. Neil sat forward and typed out a small algorithm on the Display Moniter, one of the small changes he had made to the Highlander when he had been tinkering. The Display still showed images and placements, and could be operated regularly, but now it had an upgraded sensor if you handled it correctly.

"Well would you look at that." The pilot marveled, the ships armed to the teeth with MAC guns that could wreck an asteroid half the size of Terra's moon with three shots. With all of those together? They could devastate continents, or take out another cruiser fleet, optimally.

"Wide Berth it is." He replied to her, thinking it would do well to perform such a maneuver now as well as later, though admittedly it wouldn't be hard to at the moment. While you could be thorough with either, it was a bit easier to bypass a blockade to get into a planet than it was to get out. Then again, this wasn't a blockade apparently.

Yet.

Neil set up the Sublight thrusters, easing the ship forward. On the display, Savran had the look of a green marble with swirls of darker blue coalescing around it. Of course it would still take them a bit of time to get there, and the Imperium was on its northern quandrant at the moment, so they had a free lane so far. And then it was at that moment that Neil lamented that they had an updated cloaking system. Most likely they'd be picked up on sensors once they reached the atmosphere, though losing anyone who saw them after wasn't an uncommon feat for a good pilot.

"Good thing I am here," he breathed, checking out the Acceleration Compensator Display, or ACD. "June, we'll be there in less than 20 odd minutes. After that, depending on the planet we might get a welcoming committee in the form of a few lasers and tactical nukes if they're feeling generous."
