You know when I was in Highschool, me and my two friends starting boasting about our new band 'Middle Finger to the System' and we'd see each other in class or in the hall and go "YO dude great band practice last night" when we didn't even see each other. I kind of want to do that with the Guild with one of these names.

There was a slight twitch in the man's eye, showing he wasn't entirely sure if he should go ahead and order this woman's death and take the Highlander for his own, get rid of the worry. Or, it would be poking a sleeping giant and he could potentially truly piss off the Terrans that were stationed in orbit. He had the look of a man that was used to being talked for or with, not to. He held a lazy hand up to keep his men from doing anything drastic just yet, and he eyed Sayeeda, shaking his head. "If I was only ten minutes younger," he lamented with an amused smirk.

"Val-kan Hatcher." He said to her, and waved his men to keep their guns aimed at the ground. "If you haven't guessed yet, I run Savran." He gestured around him, casually. "And, while you're here you're under my protection, as long as you keep your business over the sheets, eh?" Protection meaning he wouldn't kill her or her crew as long as she didn't stick her nose into anything he didn't like.

"Now, the valley around my quaint little city is free range for you to frolick or pick lillies, what have you. Gather your samples. But going west past the next valley..." He held up a finger in front of Sayeeda's face, his men even going still until he next spoke. "That's a no fly zone. Understand? You got the rebels out there. Anyone who even talks to them, is my enemy. And that's even if they talk to you. They do like the soft meat."

He let it go after that, clapping his hands together. His toughs grumbled, but slowly moved aside as Hatcher presented a way for Sayeeda to walk. "Coin, business, and freelance work are always welcome in Val-kan city. It's a humble place, but it's got spirit I think."

Bardeck sat up, leaning against the outer wall of the tiny, abandoned cottage. His Axe rested against his burly shoulder, and he scratched the dark fuzz that threatened to become a beard now engrossing his chin. He knew why the fact he was watching was a must, but in the serene lake with the tall, soft grass that covered the rolling hills around him, he could not help but feel relatively safe and secure. The battlefields over the rise might have the skeletons of a thousand warriors, but here, violence did not seem natural.

Of course, that didn't mean that what was natural would occur. It took him a moment to see the figures, but a small retinue of armed and armored men from a faction he couldn't quite tell was now making their way through the forest of tall grass toward their position. They spoke to themselves in hushed tones, the curious looking one in the center of them appearing to be a specially skilled one.

Bardeck stayed still for a moment longer to make sure they weren't simple travelers just passing through, but he knew that wouldn't be the case even if he wished to make sure. With a sigh, he got up as slowly and cautiously as he dared, and moved in a low crouch to wake his new ally. One that had been trustworthy so far, despite his demonic appearance.

He made it inside without being seen, as far as he knew at least. "Wake up," he said to Ferthyr, placing a big hand on his shoulder and shaking him slightly. "Four armed men heading this way. Now."

Physical Description:
If Bardeck could be described in one word, it would be 'rugged.' His black hair is wavy and barely falls short of reaching his broad shoulders. This coupled with his 5'oclock shadow give him an unkempt visage. The young man's body is muscled yet lean, his skin having bronzed from the constant work outdoors (and thanks to his father's blood). He prefers wearing sturdy leather trousers, loose fitting but snug at the waist, tied by a plain brown sash belt. When in combat or preparing, he wears iron armor over a linen tunic. Outside of combat, he simply wears the tunic, usually opened in the center. If he's alone he'll go shirtless, simply enjoying the breeze and the heat of the day. His height is fairly average for an Imperial, not short by any means but not particularly tall. His callused and scarred hands are rough but firm to the touch (much like the rest of him). His caramel eyes are the softest part of him, full of life and passion, fiery wonder, and sometimes innocent curiosity.

Mental description:
Bradeck can be described as a rough and ready warrior. His fierce independence and rough nature can only be matched by his loyalty to those he deems worthy. He's not particularly book smart, and can miss a few finer details of a more subtle plan when he's ready to fight in combat. Despite that, he's intuitive and introspective, with a quick mind and a dry wit. He has a quiet, a down to earth wisdom that often views the world in a pragmatic, useful manner. He's quite a passionate and creative individual when opened up to someone.

Due to his childhood being spent with male friends, and the only females he spent much time with were family members or female Orcs that would sooner hit him than hit on him, he's quite confused when it comes to romance. It's a coin toss on whether he gets very defensive and stand offish, or very stuttering and shy. It's just not his element. He respects warriors and those who pull their own weight or who show great skill. He's annoyed at laziness and dishonesty. He doesn't pick fights easily however, and only do it when he truly thinks its called for, and that's after one too many times of blundering. Not after strike one. Though he might be outspoken and blunt at his disapproval.
