Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

I'm here because of the intellectual stimulation on good days, the laughs on bad days, and the memes in between. Also I consider some of y'all to be my acquaintances if not my friends. And the ones I don't, I still see what they say and try to gauge how they came to said conclusion.
I was actually looking for this two days ago but I forgot to subscribe. It might take me awhile to get a CS up, but if others peeps are still here, then I am.
@PennyLOL. Sounds like Air force Currency.
@Penny That's good...the 'B.R.I.' even sounds like a no-nonsense department or initiative. If we used the Defense Budget, we'd have all the healthcare in the world!
Call it "Thoughts and Prayers"
The quality of care in America is second to none assuming you can get it without being literally bankrupted.

The problems are with the insurance system, the lack of a government backstop and the impact it has on pre-critical care. If you show up at my ER we will treat you regardless of insurance, but half the time the time you wouldn't be there if you had regular access to a GP. Similarly you aren't likely to engage in necessary follow up therapy if doing so will literally bankrupt you and so your condition worsens until you end up back in the ER. At that point we treat your critical issues and send you back out to repeat the cycle again. In the mean time all that care is basically done for free, which means to make ends meet we have to essentially overcharge people with private insurance, which leads to raised premiums which leads to less companies offering quality (or any) insurance, which leads to more uninsured people showing up at the ER, which starts the whole cycle again.

I've heard it from the patient's side but not much by the physician's side. Thanks for the clearing that up^^

I did know that people would be accepted regardless, but I'd also heard various things like a simple Ambulance ride could cost thousands of dollars, etc. Plus if I didn't have my Fedex insurance (which is quite good) my meds and appointments would cost an arm and a leg.
I'm not really very familiar with healthcare as a topic, other than I do believe that free or very cheap healthcare is a very humane way to govern.

I will say that back when I was dating my ex (who was British) she would complain to me about how bad her doctors were, and how while the government provided some money for her in other areas, it was never nearly enough and I think they weren't consistent with what they promised? I remember us comparing our services, and while I had to pay for my doctors boatloads of cash, I never had a problem with my physician. While hers was free, they were also either incompetent or sub par.

I do think people forget just how giant America is, which will blow out of proportion all of its problems like healthcare, gun violence, etc. However, while I don't think full socialism is a good thing, I do think easy access healthcare with good incentives for the doctors is a no brainer 'good.'
I have an RP series called 'Into The Dark' set in the same universe of my own making, yeah. I just continually update the lore myself so it can seem far more new to players who are getting into another one.
@UtraxWhile I have limited time now to read CS's bc friday nights are game nights, it looks good from what I have seen so far. You don't need the 'journeyman' and stuff like that in your traits/skills anymore though. Had to switch it up.
Neil felt trapped, something he really disliked. The young pilot did his best to struggle and shove himself out of it, but it was to no avail. Drake watched him struggle with a smug grin as he cradled the core like a newborn babe. "Don't have any witty remarks now, do you?" Drake said.

"Turn these shields off and I'll show you plenty, along with a gun-butt to the head free of charge." Neil replied, gritting his teeth through the shimmering haze of the blue field. Drake merely snorted, and held up the core as if to gloat, giving Sayeeda a mocking wink as he made his way out of the room and up the rise.

"Well...this is a poor end to a new crew." Neil said, slumping back. He briefly thought of shoving the stasis field with his feet, but he knew that would lead to nothing. These things were built by beings humanity built their civilization on. "So...wanna play 'I Never'?" He looked at Sayeeda. The question was never answered, for in the center of the light, matter suddenly billowed and coalesced into what appeared to be a...face?

It looked to be wrought of thousands of different metallic cubes formed together into a face that looked somewhat human. It had an 'Uncanny Horizon' feel to its features, elongated and somewhat flat nosed, with ears stretched like heated leather.

"Representative, what is the meaning of this?" It asked, it's echoing voice feminine. Neil blinked, and glanced toward Sayeeda, before looking back at the shape. "Wha-...who?" Neil said to it, palms on the blue walls of the stasis field.

"You bear the mark. You are the Representative." It said as if it was the most blindingly obvious thing in the universe. Neil raised an eyebrow, but he didn't question it too long. He asked who the being was, and it described itself as the facility's AI system. The AI asked its question again. Neil replied with "Some punk trapped us and took the core of the facility with it."

"You must stop him. The anomaly will be released. All life in the system will be wiped out without mercy or restraint. Allow me to free you."

"Whoa wait, what's going to happen?"

It paused, as if it was uploading a file to share, and spoke once more. "3,000 years ago, the Aelahyne creators of this facility trapped one of their most dangerous creations. The Harbingers. An artificial being of power beyond comprehension. If all of them had been released, the Aelahyne would have become extinct. Thankfully, these facilities were built to keep the population of their creations in check for study. In twenty standard galactic minutes, the lack of power and cohesion from the core unit of this facility with awaken the Harbinger, and it will create a new order of domination in the system."

Neil sighed, and ran a hand through his hair as the stasis shield suddenly vanished. "Well fuck," he sighed.
