That's how many names Ryan has at this point. Can you believe someone would make the mistake of calling him Randy? Or god forbid, Ross?

Elliot cocked his head, following the orangutan's gesture to see he was pointing off into the distance. Could he have understood? Why else would he be pointing, right? Surely to not tell him to go away-- Elliot knew he was great company, so the monkey wouldn't want him gone, right? Insecurities repressed, he noted that Lanky didn't want to exactly get up from his spot, so this mission would be a solo one for sure. That was okay, though. Elliot was used to working alone! Though maybe it wouldn't have to be that way, much longer. "Thanks, bud! I'll catch ya on the return trip." He said with enthusiasm, two fingers from his free hand going up to his forehead for a salute before he began to depart in the direction he was pointed in.

Yeah, it wouldn't have to be small commission work anymore. Elliot smiled to himself, thinking of the opportunity of joining King Bowser's crew. Sure, they looked like a bunch of weirdos (And he swore he saw someone grow freakishly tall out of the corner of his eye, but it might have been a hallucination) but they were friendly. Elliot hadn't really found people like that before now, at least not people traveling. And they seemed to be able to handle themselves, especially if they were daring the Bottomless Sea... He doubted himself for a moment, wondering if he was capable enough to be useful on such a voyage? They seemed to be carrying experience he couldn't hope to grasp, and whatever 'bad guys' were out there like that girl had shouted? He wondered if he'd be able to stand up to them.

Well, duh! He thought to himself, letting a small laugh escape him. He took the egg tucked under his arm in both hands, looking at it for a moment. Thinking back to his goals, he made sure to mentally remind himself that success was the only option! He wasn't just venturing for his own gain, after all. He had a wonderful woman to find, and save if need be. And heck, if he could make the world a better place while trying to reach farther out for his search? That sounded like a win to him. Good smiles, good laughs, transportation. What else could you ask for in a world like this?

Elliot's thoughts made the trip a bit shorter, at least mentally. It felt like it hadn't taken long to get to the place the kong had described, finding a route off the main river than lead him into a bit of a strange grove, but there were bananas everywhere! Excited, his eyes lit up at the idea of bringing a decent haul back to the crew, figuring they could eat pretty well off of this much food! Though... There were an assortment of weird, leaf-dinosaurs around that might have been eating it, too. And as he observed the idea, he noticed a weird creature the dinosaurs seemed to be avoiding: It looked like food itself, like ice cream, whipped cream, cherries... The cherries had eyes. Why the HELL did the cherries have eyes? It also looked like it had bananas for mandibles, which was just another layer of weird, but maybe explained why it was here. He had to wonder why it kept saying 'Scoopy Banoopy', though. In a multitude of tones that came off as pretty aggressive.

"This place always has to get weirder." He complained to himself, forming a plan. Alright, so carrying bundle of them back would be a waste of time, considering how many people there were. Well, minus the robot. And the zombies. And the ship...? Did the ship eat food? Regardless, he needed a decent amount. Setting down his egg friend in a secluded and soft spot where he thought it wouldn't be disturbed, Elliot formed a plan. He started by tearing down a few of the larger leaves he could find in the area, figuring he could one: Layer and use them as a sort of sled so he could drag a bunch of bananas, due to the sheer size of the damn leaf. And two: He could use a few more to make some sort of bedding for the egg later, though he'd have to see what his situation was. Having a leaf or two wouldn't hurt though, right?

Leaf-sled in tow, Elliot began to carefully traverse the grove. He avoided the 'Snoopy Banoopy' thing especially, but tried to stay a fair distance from the leaf-dinosaurs as well. Though the wing-like leaves on their backs could've made even better containers for carrying the bananas. He noticed one kind of give him the stink-eye for thinking about it though, so he minded his own business. Harvesting the bananas was pretty easy, he had to move to more trees than expected to keep ahead of the creatures around him, but staying on the outer layer of trees made it pretty easy. Once the leaf started getting a little hefty, he decided to call it good and begin a retreat. His tugs made him believe it wouldn't break, though he had a few spares to fix that if necessary... Plus he could just tear more off the trees.

Returning to his egg, he picked it up and placed it between the banana bundles, figuring it'd stay put that way. He felt pretty proud of his harvest, but noticed some of the dinosaurs looking his way. He laughed nervously, before skipping out of the area with his food in tow, figuring there was plenty in the inner circles of trees that'd leave food for them. He'd just go back the way he came, and not look back. He stifled his laugh and tried to keep quiet, though the dragging made a bit of noise. He figured those creatures would forget, or hoped they did, anyhow. "Man, I sure hope they don't hate bananas or something, maybe I should've asked." Mirage quipped to himself, as his return trip began.

It'd taken awhile. His walk back made him realize how far he went, and damn, did he feel a little tuckered out from dragging these bananas. He finally made it back towards where Lanky had been lounging, having told him he'd be back on the return trip, after all. Stopping to take a momentary breather, Elliot pulled one of his banana bunches off the leaf and brought it over to the orangutan, handing it to him but not having much time to stay at the moment. Especially since he didn't know how many bananas this kong would eat if they lounged together. "Enjoy, buddy! Thanks for the help." He offered the monkey a smile, before gripping onto the big leaf to drag it again, back towards the two ships.

"Heeeeeey!" He called out, offering a wave with one hand as he made a slow approach on the group, a pretty decent stock of fruit in tow if he did say so himself. An all-banana diet probably wasn't the best for you, but having bananas was better than going hungry! Right? "I hope you guys like fruit, because I found a whole bunch! Should make sailing a lot easier!" He spoke as if he was already for sure about to set sail with these guys. He still hadn't been very direct about that, had he? Elliot began to realize his awkwardness needed to come to an end sooner than later, though for the moment he was content in just enjoying a bit of time with some friendly faces.

Once he managed to get closer to the group, he'd dropped the leaf and let the food sit, scooping up his egg again. He figured when the time came, they could work on loading it. Or maybe that weird robot's zombies could do it. Shambling corpses used as free labor sounded like it was very helpful. Now he could try to relax a little, wipe the sweat off his brow... Make some buddies, maybe. He'd have to see.

While Bowser sprayed at the Ukazeer, Mirage found himself momentarily distracted from a voice calling to him from the ship. Some girl, seemed eager and had energy in her voice. Fight bad guys, huh? Sounded noble enough, Mirage handled a rascal or two in his time since getting here, but connecting the dots together this must've meant there were some awful folks in the Bottomless Sea that they were after. And if that was the case, maybe they really could use all the help they could get! "Sounds pretty heroic." He commented, though quickly both Sakura and himself seemed to focus on their own situations again. Mirage's being the Ukazeer.

Mirage found himself smiling as the Ukazeer took it's leave, relieved to know the mama boat would get to live another day. Seems like the King's plan worked, and that little green guy got pulled up onto solid land! This seemed like a good ol' positive, as nobody had gotten hurt. However, it seemed the guy they rescued had a bit of an attitude problem, and was quick to spark a small exchange between himself and the King. A witch in your head? He knew someone with voices in their head! And she was perfectly friendly, when you weren't teasing her over her choice of drink. Or talking too much. Or on a Squad that wasn't hers. Ah, Renee. She wouldn't be handling this situation very well, she'd of gotten angry by now! He wished she was here to be angry at him, though.

Mirage could've spoke up, but it seemed Bowser had it covered. First of all, what the hell kind of ominous name was 'Mr.L'? Second, he was just some mook for some criminal? Must've been someone else Bowser conked in the past, like these bad guys that they were supposedly going to the Bottomless Sea to deal with. Though, at least the mini-mustachio looked more like a smartass than a dumbass, so he'd probably not start any fights if he knew what was good for him. If anything, at least it made Mirage himself look a little friendlier!

And speaking of friends, there was another one of the crew approaching! Mirage observed him carefully for a moment as he explained about the outcropping, proving the warning he'd given earlier. He watched the man raise something in his hand up that kind of looked like some sorta tablet, the design of the back side reminding him of a camera. So when Link pointed it at him, Mirage's first response was to strike a slight post with his revolver, flashing a grin with the egg tucked under his arm. As his tablet-thing lowered, Mirage realized he had no reason to be holding his gun anymore, so he gave it a lighthearted twirl before sliding it back into his holster. "No problem pal, just call me Mirage-- OH!" He was going to shake with Link, but the sight of the guy's hand caused him to yank his own back in panic of hurting him on accident if they made contact. He acted pretty casual about it, meaning either he was insane... Or way tougher than he looked. "Yeah, you uh, definitely should." He responded, figuring an injury like that could take awhile to heal. Oof... He wanted to avoid an injury like that.

Though the discussions about food did catch Mirage's interest. A party seemed to be forming to go forage, but Mirage had an idea of his own. He knew a guy that had some fruit, and might know where to score more! "We're gathering food? Hey, I'll lend a hand, too! I might know a guy, I'll be back." He said with enthusiasm, worded in a way that he almost considered himself a part of the crew already! Though, Mirage had no fishing equipment so he'd avoid looking for sea life. And since that... Princess, Link had said? seemed to have a party venturing out, Mirage decided to retrace his steps back to the sands to go meet up with his orangutan buddy.

Approaching the banana-devourer, Mirage was careful to not step on the peels this time. Though he did pick one up to aid in his plight as he approached the kong slowly, from the front as to make him aware of his presence. Crouching down, he looked at the kong with a funny face with a funny smile of his own, gesturing the banana peel between himself and the crew a short ways' off back at Shippy. "Heeeey-- Buddy. You know where I can find more bananas? To feed my friends over on that boat?" He wasn't sure if putting emphasis on words would help or not, but the orangutan seemed nice enough before, despite Mirage having admittedly judged him a little too soon. A few bundles of those bananas could surely help, right? And who better to find bananas than a monkey? It was probably all he ate, right?

Vallory. A smile crossed Clint's face, comforted by her introduction. Short and sweet was more his style anyways, it suited him fine. Clint had tried to keep his spirits up, until around when Jordan decided to start being herself and sassing the tall girl he was chatting with. The cowboy's face scrunched up, considering her sass unnecessary as people had to deal with this kind of shock in their own ways. His attempt at being positive thwarted, he simply let out a complaint towards Jordan: "C'mon, lay off a little. I know you're mad at me, but..." He responded in an attempt to push Jordan's sass off the person next to him. Telling her to stop did not make her stop, but it at least diverted the bull's attention like a red cape--

“I get why I have one, but why does Ryan over here get the honor. Or are they participation crystals?”

"Christ..." Clint muttered. His eyes slowly drifted between the men holding the Black and Red Power Crystals... Recognizing the latter as the guy that tried to save him earlier. Clint wished he could save him in return, but Jordan huffed over to him and smacked him without remorse, causing Clint to flinch. Ahah, Jordan was just as good at chewing people out as ever, her ruthless words and lack of filter on full display as he stared at the scene, unsure if he even had the guts to intervene.

... Not that he had too, as Karma was swift to bite him in the ass. His eyes widened as Jordan turned on him instead, recoiling slightly as she got closer showing that not only were her words stinging, but for one reason or another these rookies could see he was very clearly afraid of her to an extent, if the attitude wasn't enough reason for him to be. He attempted multiple times to get a word in, but she just kept bashing him over and over, until eventually he fell into a surrendering silence, accepting it with a deep sigh. She wasn't wrong of course, he had fucked up, and he knew it. The repeatedly beating it into his skull thing was helping with that, though he felt angry... Or felt angry that he SHOULD have felt angry. Instead, all he had was guilt. Guilt that caused him to easily be shoved aside, the man thinking about her words. Damn, what had he caused?

Well, one thing he caused was becoming the team driver, apparently. Not that he was exactly going to reject it and not give anyone a ride, but she really had to put him on the spot like that? He just nodded along, crossing his arms and trying to ignore the rest of the situation at hand. Which was hard, with Charlie also joining in on the shouting. There was one person flipping out, and making more of a scene here wasn't helping anybody.

Not that he'd mention that. Right now, Clint was really at a loss for words. Jordan had not only left him reeling from the fit she just threw, but hit him hard enough with her words to leave him dead silent. Hell, he knew the extent of what he needed to, but at the same time he realized they needed to get these new people more situated. He'd need to prepare himself, because he'd be a big part of that, at least he assumed. This was a dangerous road ahead, and he had to make sure to protect--

He looked towards Jordan... Feeling a glint in his own eye. No, not just protect. Ensure they could protect themselves, and he'd assist as needed. He couldn't just throw himself around, not after what Jordan said. She hurt him, but, he could feel the intent behind it. He knew she cared, and that just made him feel worse. So when a distraction was brought up, that being to transport the gang to the Command Center, he nodded.

"Yup," He spoke, pain shooting through him as he hobbled off towards his truck, trying to smile through his injuries. "Just the big chauffeur, let's get everyone that's going and git!" He added, trying to include some enthusiasm, though was a little saddened that Vallory had her own transportation. Good for her, sure, but she was like, the only person not stressing her out aside from maybe the shorter guy that Clint hadn't had the chance to harass with his hospitality yet. Injured or not, Clint was very insistent on driving, not intending for anyone else here to be behind the wheel of his baby... Especially not Jordan, though she'd take it in a heartbeat.

At least he'd have some good tunes... If Jordan stopped fucking with his radio for five seconds.

To say Clint was surprised was an understatement. It didn't take super long for Clint to figure out the situation of where they were going, yet his eyes still didn't believe it. GENESIS headquarters... There were a lot of memories with that name, not many, if any, were positive. Guess in retrospect that's what being a ranger felt like. after the charm wore off? Yet here he was, embracing the power again. In a strange way, he was excited. Maybe it was to strike back in vengeance against Druidon, or just to kick that Basilisk-looking jackass in the face and show him who was boss. Maybe Clint was just needing some violence to supply a bit of therapy for his emotions? He was just reaching at straws, no point in continuing down that path of thinking, instead parking with Charlie's directions as to conceal the vehicle properly.

Following Charlie inside, this place looked like an old barn in the back of his field back home. It needed work, repairs... But they could do something with it, he imagined. And Charlie seemed pretty proud, so he didn't want to squash little sis's thunder on the whole ordeal. "Make due with what you're given, right?" He commented, figuring the space to bit a of a work in progress, yeah, but if they turned it into something cool, then who'd be laughing? ... Who owned this building, now, anyways? Did Charlie? He had a few basic questions, but found himself pretty quiet on the elevator, standing in the corner as if to try and take up the least amount of room he could.

The Control Room was astounding, the basement proving to house a lot of hard work on Charlie's end. As everyone shuffled out, Clint slowly wandered behind the group, poking and pressing things as he passed out of curiosity, as this place looked like the inside of a spaceship, like the damn Enterprise! He mostly controlled himself, trying to not accidentally push a button that'd fire some nuclear warheads Charlie was neglecting to tell them about, or something. Girl had a ton of secrets, and he found himself getting tired either from being hurt, or from just trying to follow everything going on.

As Charlie introduced him and Jordan to the others, he almost lost his composure as she called Jordan lovely. Yeah, in what fucking universe, right? If there was a reality where Jordan was nice, she probably cured goddamn cancer or solved world hunger, or something like that. He held his tongue, however, not wanting to cause more trouble at the moment and instead speaking to the rookies momentarily. "Yup, cowboy, that's me. Sorry for bein' short, but... Think I've gotta sit down." He fell into one of the chairs, that only causing him to ache more. Son of a bitch, it hurt pretty bad, but he ignored it momentarily.

Clint didn't bother speaking up again until Charlie said they could fire questions her way, his simple mind shining through again. "All I gotta know is that Druidon is back. The rest is just backburner stuff until we get those hostages back." He spoke from his seat, an arm across his torso as he flinched from the pain he was feeling. Shit, Jordan wasn't going to let him live this down, but he had no choice but to bring it up. "Actually, I got one. We have any first-aid here? I haven't felt this bad since one of the horses back at the ranch bucked me off my feet." He'd rather be doing that a hundred times than having to cope with the return of their menace... Unfortunately, it seemed like he was all out of bucks and instead was going to be worrying about Druidon until further notice...

As Vallory spoke, he actually decided to speak a little from personal experience. "I actually worried about that too, I was a bit smaller the last time I put on mine! They seem to come equipped to fit, part of their weird Powers, I guess. But it works out for us, doesn't it?"
