She keeps secrets to the grave and is as loyal as a dog. With a humorous and joking nature, little seems to bother her. However, when she needs to be serious, she can act as such. Name: Sage Lockheart Nickname: N/A Gender: Male Age: 16 Brief Personality: Quiet and reserved, yet brave, would describe Sage the best. While noble and a gentlemen, he is not one to underestimate. Sarcastic, witty, and with remarks rolling off his tongue, he seems to know what to say at any given moment. Tough, though with a hint of sensitivity, Sage tries to come off strong. However, he will commit to cunning methods if he deems it necessary. Reckless, with an almost-carefree attitude, Sage tries to enjoy life and live in the moment. Ability: Molecule Manipulation Limits to Ability: Sage cannot create molecules, nor against those who have control over their own. He is unable to fly or lift himself off the ground. Additionally, healing is excruciatingly painful and drains him of energy. If he induces pain, it takes a deal of concentration, thus leaving him with a throbbing headache. Age admitted into Riverwood: 15 Background: Born into a rich family, Sage grew up with whatever he needed. Asking was hardly a chore, since his want would arrive soon. It became dull to Sage as he became older. The highs of the rich life became irksome; constant parties, exotic trips to faraway countries. His parents grew displeased with him and began to criticize him. Despite their wishes, he also donated money to people who needed it. This only infuriated them. Thus, Sage became an outcast of the family - especially when he began to engage in sports and have less-than-acceptable friends. His family distanced themselves from him and stuck to one another. Name: Josephine Gray Nickname: Josie, Pyro Gender: Female Age: 18 Brief Personality: Josephine would be what society considers abnormal. From the day she was born to the ripe age of 18, she was labeled eccentric, quirky, and unpredictable. With an unreasonable ability to be charming, she has risen in popularity amongst her peers. A portion of her day is spent gazing in the mirror and admiring her reflection. With zilch regard to people's lives or right's, Josephine has become infamous. However, she has the strong ability to deceive others with an Innocent smile and bat of her eyelids. Impulsive would not suit her - this girl thinks through everything and plans far ahead. Whatever stands in her way, will be given devastation. Ability: Pyrokinesis Limits to Ability: Must always be in control of emotions and thoughts - if not, fire spirals out of her control, causing damage. She can burn herself if the heat's too intense. Smoke inhalation is not her friend, and she needs oxygen. Hydrokinesis will affect her greatly as well. Age admitted into Riverwood: 18 Background: The day that Josephine was born should have been a happy one. And indeed it was, up until she reached the age of two and began terrorizing people. She learned that throwing toys at a window would break them. This became a fun habit of hers. As she grew older, her parents thought her acts might wither away - but they did not. In fact, Josephine began to grow worse over time. She caused trouble and blamed it on Terraline. As for Xander, she would enchant his guy friends, date them, then break their hearts in two. Rumors would escalate from her, thus destroying their reputations and Xander's as well. Josephine charmed and witted her way out of trouble most of the time. Her tactic became clear: act charming and persuasive in society, and nutty and cruel around her siblings. Other: She is seen with a lighter fairly often, despite it being confiscated multiple times.

The music blasting in Shay's room drowned out the buzz of other student's from the surrounding dormitory rooms. She did not care to socialize at the moment. Once she was done with folding her clothes and making note of everything, she was going to go take a ride in hr car to the smoothie store down the street. She was dying for a blueberry smoothie and was going to freak out if she did not receive one in the next twenty-four hours. The hunger she felt was nothing compared to how hungry she used to be at home - if that was an appropriate name for it.

A loud explosion made her jump and drop her clothes. She whirled around and darted towards the window and stared out. The parking lot was on fire. Smoke greedily rose up into the sky to drown out the sunshine filled sky. She gasped, seeing the students, then realized her car was down there. Additionally, there were police everywhere as well and ambulances, which made her chuckle, upon remembering her medical teams at home. They were such a joke, though she couldn't entirely blame therm. A chill ran down her spine, bringing her back to reality. She ran back to her pile of clothes, tossed them carelessly in her closet kicked the doors shut, then sprinted out the door. Never mind the fact she wore a skull tank top, distressed shorts, and her hair was in a messy braid; her car was out there. She barely had time to put on her leather black motorcycle boots, which were left untied.

She ran out to the parking lot and accidentally into a dark-haired blue-eyed boy who headed towards the dormitory. She bit back a shriek, unaware of the incident, and slowed to a halt a few yards away. Her old, yet valuable and loved, black jeep, was up in flames. Shay felt a surge of frustration and hatred for whoever had set the damn fire. That car had been her key to freedom. Now... Now she was stuck at this damn college for who knew how long. Whatever. She was stealing a motorcycle or abandoned car the moment she found one. She was not dealing with this. With a quick turn on her heels and a glare, she turned back towards the dormitory. She didn't bother asking if anyone was okay - they had the professionals here. A snort rose in her throat and was caught moments before it escaped.

Sage sat in the courtyard with a book in his hand. He was nearby the beautiful lake in which he was glad to have. It was a nice scene to look at, other than the boring mundane forests. He glanced back out at the trees before him and sighed.There was something he enjoyed about nature, yet the feeling of being lost in the woods, made him uneasy. At least with a lake, there was a source of escape and view. He looked back down and turned a page in his book. It was a new one he had purchased on his way to the college and was interested in reading.

Sage reached for his water bottle, then accidentally flung it when a loud explosion to his left sounded. The cars in the parking lot blew up in flames, smoke loyally following behind it. He gawked at the scene. Was this real? Had the parking lot of this oh-so-beloved college, blown up? This couldn't be happening. Still, after rubbing his eyes and blinking rapidly, the scene had not improved. In fact, it became a hundred times worse when he saw there were people trapped in one of the cars. Sage leaped to his feet, stuffed his items in his bag, and kicked it behind a tree to hide it. He ran over with wide-eyes and skitted to a halt. Sage began to run towards the car, only to find it frozen over by a brunette haired girl. He blinked, shocked and bewildered. Nonetheless, he was glad to see the duo had been saved. He sighed in relief.

After a half hour of the police interrogations, they were dismissed. Sage found himself beside the girl who had used ice. However that had happened was beyond him. He glanced at her, admiring her beauty, and cleared his throat. "Hey." He greeted. He had an Australian accent, laced with an undertone of British. "How are you?" He decided to keep it simple and not overwhelm the poor girl. Goodness only knew what she felt or thought. Should he back off? Anxiety chewed at his stomach. He wanted to make sure this girl was alright and stood his ground.

History: Shay was given up at a young age, though she doesn't know why. To this day, it infuriates her. The family who adopted her lived in a bad neighborhood. Why they did so was beyond her, but was glad to leave the foster house. Still, she was grateful-they enrolled her in self defense courses and marital arts. Her adopted parents were busy working jobs to support their family. Unsupervised and unruly, Shay disciplined herself in school - but did whatever she wanted, when she wanted. She got into some trouble which followed her throughout her life. Nonetheless, she made goodness out of herself. She attends college now and is glad to have left her home life.

History: Sage was born to a rich family who indulged in it all they could. There were parties fairly often in his household which he grew to despise. The drunks were also another reason he grew to loathe them. He focused on his studies and his circle of friends, which irritated his parents to no end. Thus, he became distant with them. Sage also found out he was a great swimmer and worked hard every day to obtain the scholarship he earned now for college.

Fernwood Academy is a special school that opened in 2048.

It all started with a rumor. A rumor that people are starting to be able to do things they could never hope to do before.

Then there was a fire caused by a small child in Connecticut in early 1990. They say he wielded the fire, incorrectly of course, and it came from his hands. We can't forget the flood in Texas from November, 1940 Or the flying cars in California in the following April.. Or how about that telekinetic kid in France, or the mind reader in Japan? There's just too many to name them all. It was becoming clear that there was something new in the world.

Children were being born with powers. It was so sudden that no one seemed to believe it. It was rather suspicious too. For the American government, however, it was a problem. These kids had no idea how to use these things. They had the idea in their head that they were suddenly a bunch of superheroes and could run around in the streets using their powers. The government had to take action. They began taking children away from their families and locking them up until further notice in 2025. To be honest, they were scared of them. They didn't understand why people would just start being born with powers that are known to be fiction and so out of the blue. The scientists and the doctors couldn't figure it out either. What they didn't understand, frightened them. So they kept them locked up like prisoners until 2027. The government soon discovered that this time in solitude really gave them the time

the time to mature and master their powers. The older group was let out and put in a reserved piece of land where they further practiced. The babies and younger ones soon grew and had the same excuse to be let out. These kids and teens stayed there without any communication with their families. Years passed and they grew. These were very smart people. They soon began to compose a plan, a very twisted and evil plan. They were tired of being forced to stay on that piece of land, tired of not being able to use their powers for a greater good. They were also all a little insane from their time with the government.

They went on a rage to get their revenge and attacked numerous cities across the U.S. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't get them back. They were cunning and agile for the government. These people weren't little kids any more either. In 2044, the group began going after any being with a power and either destroying them or recruiting them. Not a lot of people wanted to join them because they knew how twisted they have become and they would be in a world of horror for the rest of their lives. Plus their leader or just the guy who tends to boss everyone around and everyone listens to him in fear, Damien Sebastian Graves. He's one of the most treacherous ones. They became so powerful and they were attacking innocent people too. They planned to get so powerful with no threats at all to take over the country.. Then the world. They had people from other countries joining them!

This group soon began passing the name around that they would be called "The Superior." People accepted the name. In the future, kids were not allowed to mention the name in the academies so sometimes they'd abbreviate to a silly name, "Sups." So if anyone asked, they were just asking what's up.

government had to step in solve this problem. They made various schools across the country. Other countries followed this example to teach anyone with powers to control them and defend themselves. Then when they were adults, they would be given the option to teach there, find a job suitable for their power, or join an army that was being made of people who mastered their powers and wanted to bring down The Superior.

These schools were mandatory for any child with a power. If parents chose not to sent them, they would have to forcefully make them come. The most famous school was Ravenscale Academy, opened in 2048 under Mr. Michael Ravencale and his wife Mrs. Elizabeth Ravencale. It was also the most endangered school since there were so many super ultra powerful kids there. Things went smoothly for the first twenty years with for some reason, no sight of the Superior or Damien Graves. Then in 1990, the Ravencales passed away in a tragic accident. Or so they say.. In 2000, it was clear that it was no accident. People were distraught and shocked because they had really come to like the Ravencales and they made the school what it was. The Superior was still nowhere to be seen. In 2075, we notified that they were dead. Everyone wanted to believe it, even though they didn't.

Nonetheless, to keep a happy environment; they were declared dead. The schools continued to run just in case and it was swell when it came to teaching kids to handle their powers carefully to prevent harm to innocent regular people. Just in case, after graduation you are granted a guardian status where you either help teach and protect the school. They are protectors of students and just the whole school in general.

Usually you do this for a fwe years until you're ready to go on with your lives. Guardians do not need forms but you may make them.

It is 2016. There have been rumors and sightings of The Superior and various disappearances around the country and especially in Ravencale. A rumor has been going around the Damien Graves is back. And so is The Superior. Teachers and adults usually calm us down and tell us that they are dead and that those names aren't to be used. The new headmistress Teresa Thorn really had a issue with this and gives detention as a warning, then your just suspended. Damien Graves would be a old guy anyway.. Wouldn't he? And people say he looks the same way he did when he was twenty.

But if they are back.. Then we have something to be afraid of again. Have they been hiding for all these years..? No one believes this. And unfortunately it's true.. No only that but there have been appearances of odd, dangerous creatures that have never been recorded before. One of them attacked a student and we haven't seen from them since. Just another thing you want to be aware of when you enroll in our Academy.

ELEMENTARY: 1st-3rd Grade Classes
1st graders have a 6 period day
2nd have 7 period
3rd have a 8 period day then they go back to their dorms.

There will be four periods taken up by the double period General Studies, Lunch and Gym. You will have three other classes to pick. These grades will not have classes with each other whatsoever. You will have to have some kind of defensive class too. Power Information and Self Defense HIGHLY recommended.

They will do events for your powers and guide you. They will give you recommendations for your classes next year. For someone with superstrength, they recommend you to practice with weights often and a super speedy person they will probably take to the track. They might ask you to join a sport too. If your an element or mind, they'll guide you in ways as well.
