I think that the Gates magic is too complicated to be enhanced by the somewhat primal Firebrand Trigger. It could make it so that going through the gate burns it, perhaps, but it won't link to any extraplanar realms of torment.

Sure. Just give me your handle and I'll toss you an invite.

Re Firebrand gates: That's pretty much exactly what I was asking, thank you.

Re Skype handle: I already gave it to you up above. professional.protagonist
Two things.

1) Could I adapt the Firebrand to my Gates to make flaming Hellgates of fiery death for smaller enemies?

2) There's a group skype chat and nobody told me? D: professional.protagonist for invite!
So I couldn't access the last page for some reason, but this one I can. Did I miss anything?

The Firebrand Trigger is what all the people who joined the Council got, unless they had a Demon Trigger, in which case that got an improvement. The Firebrand Trigger...well, all I know is what it looks like and, based on the fact that we could heat up the Molten Core, use fire abilities.

I think it only gives fire on your current abilities.

Then how we managed to warm up the Molten Heart needs to be questioned.

I think we'll need a more concise explanation on them. I'll ask Lug to get to it.

That's something that you missed.
Says the guy with an avatar writhing in fire.
I, for one, am a fan of him burning some small portion of the forest.
@ Team Library, come on guys! We've got this! Let's annihilate this horrible abomination!
@Stekkmen@Stern Algorithm If you're waiting for the other new guy to post, I wouldn't bother. Looking at the post count and total days since joining the site, not to mention the "last active on," I don't foresee them following through anytime soon. If you're not waiting on the new guy, then I am very sad you haven't posted and shall now go cry in the corner.
Joshua couldn't help but keep his eyebrow raised at the incredulous attitude the man before him displayed. He offered to hire the super mutant for some kind of hunt, and for it he could kill the glowing ghoul at any point of Joshua's choosing. The mutant mentally scoffed at the hunter. If he had intended to kill the ghoul, he'd have done so already and saved the trouble of hauling around a living, unwilling thing. Clearly this man, this "Carver" had absolutely zero respect for the ghoul. Even if it had been a mindless animal, Joshua would have found the man's attitude distasteful. Since this was once a person, with real thoughts, emotions, relationships... Well, Joshua found that "distasteful" was too soft of a word.

Before he could rebut, more occurred. Others entered the tavern, a few making their own spectacle of things. One was an elderly human who entered by asking if anybody needed medical attention, following with a statement that he intended to get drunk. Now Joshua was no doctor himself, but he felt that sort of behavior was somewhat unbecoming of a medical professional. Of course, he did ask if anybody needed help before, so at least there was that measure of responsibility. The next one to enter was a human woman, who garnered the attention of everyone in the room by declaring that she had a job, a dangerous one. A dangerous job that had already failed twice. In the jungle wastes. Joshua had heard that the jungle had come back to Florida. Apparently before the war Florida was thick with wetland and wildlife, but he hadn't heard much about it during his (considerably long) lifetime. Recently though, rumors had found their way to his ear that the Everglades were back. Such a thought fascinated him.

The old hunter heckled the woman, proclaiming that he had announced to be hiring for his job first. Joshua turned to him and said, "I accept your terms." He then unceremoniously stamped on the glowing ghoul's head, crushing its skull and putting the thing out of its misery. He then turned back to the old man and spoke in the most dry, deadpan tone he could muster. "I quit."

Without further fanfare, Joshua turned away from the old man, leaving behind a headless corpse in shackles and a mushy stain on the floor to be cleaned, and he approached Victoria Rose. Lumbering forward, he took another drink from his barrel of wine, wiped his chin, then hoisted his trusty Red Glare upon his shoulder. "My name is Joshua. Mercenary for hire. Most know me as the 'Megaton Mutant' on account of, well, I'm sure you can guess." His eyes quickly glanced over to his rocket launcher before he addressed Victoria again. "I haven't come across anything yet I couldn't blow up or put back together. Specialize in pre-war military technology. If the price, or the cause, is right, then consider me on board."
@Orlan @ProPro I did the math for this. That ghoul emits about 5 rads per second (according to YouTube clips I watched of them could find a more accurate number) and the death cap in fallout is 1000 rads. Holding that thing on your back will kill you in 3 minutes 20 seconds lol. About 16 min 40 if you are on radX or something haha. With the exception of the supermutant of course. If it continues to stay inside the entire part will die quickly and the new plot will be the super mutant clearing its name of these horrible murders lol

This does not count its radiation burst ability that does not need its limbs to use haha

You can't take that as gospel though. That's a form of game mechanics, and we all know there's such thing as gameplay and story segregation. The rads put out by glowing ones has always been subject to change between games, as does how rads affect the player. Not to mention that you didn't take into account that time passage in game is much faster than time passage for the player in real life, so the scaling is off anyway. I'd say that the actual amount of radiation emitted by a glowing one would not be harmful unless you spend several hours in its presence.
