as a patreon reward I will read your least favorite person's handmade custom tabletop RPG homebrew and ask them why they didn't just run it in 5e instead

I started RP before double digit age but you couldn't have gotten an admission I was under 18 under threat of death. Kids just casually admiting it online now is wild.

A pegasus soared over the Plegian desert, the blond woman on its back clutching her lance tightly. She scanned the horizon as she rode, tiredly searching for any sign of pursuit. Alicia had been fleeing from Ylisse's Pegasus Knights for days now, and fatigue was starting to take its toll on her. She had outflown her last pursuers to the point where they had apparently lost her trail, but that was when she had been relatively fresh. After riding hard for days on end, she didn't think she would last long if another group of riders discovered her.

Another hour passed, and Alicia saw a group of travelers on the ground mounted on horseback. From a distance, they didn't seem to be Ylissan soldiers, considering their lack of armor and coats of arms, which meant that she might be able to approach this group for aid. With the hope of at least finding out where the nearest town was, Alicia coaxed her pegasus to descend at a gradual pace, not wanting to alarm the riders on the ground.

The pegasus touched down within speaking distance of the group, and Alicia looked them over as she began to speak.

"Hail, travelers. Would you happen to know where the nearest town..." Alicia trailed off as she caught sight of a certain archer in the group. She'd know that shade of hair anywhere. "Wait...is that you, Ambra?" The Pegasus Knight asked incredulously.

Wyvern Lord. Oh god, Alicia is going to have a heart attack. (whenever I get around to introducing her, that is)
So uh...Hearthstone just went into open beta. Yeah.

Alicia post will be out soon. While Hearthstone is still downloading.
Updated Lantus's bio to have a different clothing pic. Because I felt like it.

Gonna try to get the collab with Ob up by tomorrow. Doing homework now.
Uh, it's totally cool if your characters are rude/mean/whatever, you know. If someone takes that personally, that's their problem.

CAN I POPST NOW?

No.
Post is up. Trying to figure out a way to incorporate Vance's guy in here too.
As Xanxus apologized to him, Lantus simply nodded and waved a hand, accepting the apology. Xanxus's attitude didn't bother him much, as he'd dealt with far worse before. Compared to his now-deceased mother-in-law, gods damn that harpy to the deepest pits of the abyss, a bit of cockiness wasn't much to get worked up about.

"Think nothing of it, General Xanxus. As long as you do your job well and I do the same, we'll get along fine."

While it was annoying that Xanxus refused to use his own men, Lantus couldn't exactly complain, seeing as he had no intention of recalling any of his own bannermen in the first place. After all, there was no point in running his men ragged chasing after what remained of the Shepards if Darrian planned on inciting war with Plegia. Lantus's own knights were among the most well-trained and equipped in Ylisse, and he was certain that they were a more than a match against Xanxus's personal unit, especially if Lantus was leading them himself. Fielding an elite force like that just to chase down a few ragged survivors was simply a waste of resources.

As Xanxus began discussing their troop choices, Lantus took a moment to consider his words before nodding.

"Agreed. We'll field a force of fliers and mounted infantry." The old general said before turning to leave. "Considering your dislike of common soldiers, I trust you won't mind if I gather the men myself. Send for me if you need something." Lantus left for the barracks, his two knights trailing behind him.
