Taking the stone back from Aziza and gently curling his fingers around it, Harry's eyes remained on Aziza up until the moment she disappeared around the screen, before they fell back to the stone in his hand. He ran his thumb over it for a moment, deep in thought over what exactly he was getting himself into with all this. A part of his better judgement insisted he should just return home, not to get involved in whatever was going on, finish his book and return to England. However, another part of him felt as if he needed this, as if he had been missing something, some sort of great excitement in his life since the war, which this might bring back.

Looking over to Lauren as she spoke, he nodded and tucked the rock into his pocket, reaching into his jacket to pull out his handgun as he tapped the side of it with his index finger. "Pretty hard to get it off me nowadays." He chuckled halfheartedly before turning back to Aziza as she came back, he nodded toward her as she made her suggestion, eyes shifting over to Lauren, as part of him assumed the girl wouldn't leave her friend so easy. Of course that was the case, Lauren would be coming with them as he tucked his weapon back into his jacket where he could easily get it, nodding toward them both and moving toward the back door, ready to go as well.

William Drake

Location: Egyptian Museum

William, as was rather odd for him, remained relatively quiet as he stood and listened to Vera speak and move about her office, genuinely curious to pay attention to whatever information he could gather regarding the topic at hand. That was until it was rather suddenly broken by the commotion elsewhere in the museum. Turning his gaze toward the door, he raised an eyebrow slightly at the sight of the man who moved in, but then raised it much more at the sight of the two women. If there was one thing the treasure hunter appreciated more, or at least as much as the glitter of gold, it was a beautiful woman.

Approaching the woman who spoke toward him, he gave her a classic, winning smile and reached out to gently take her hand. "William Drake, explorer extraordinaire, it's an absolute pleasure, Miss Kingston." He'd lean down to press the slightest peck to the back of her hand, winking up at her as he'd let go of her hand. Standing up straight again, he glanced between the others, and as he came out of his kind of trance of infatuation, he realized that these people had themselves been experiencing the same sort of dreams, suddenly slipping out of his determined charming, he returned to focus on the matter at hand, his interest piqued, at the very least.
Ricas

Location: Safe House

Lucas kept his eyes on Risa as she slowly pulled away from him and moved over to their weapons. Moving behind the chair she'd been sitting in, he picked up the pieces of his PPK, following after her as he slowly and carefully began to put it all back together. Looking over the weapon as he moved over to her, he leaned idly against the wall as he flicked the safety back onto his weapon, reaching back to tuck it into the holster at the small of his back.

He flashed a half smile every time she looked in his direction, giving a genuine one as she confirmed that she was feeling better. It was the first time he'd had any real confirmation about it, it felt good. He nodded as she asked him about the stitches, moving past her to grab the medical kit from beside the bed. Moving over to her, he stood behind her as he set the bag down and opened it up, dragging out a pair of scissors and forceps as he looked over the stitches. "Y'know, I could've been a doctor." He said, it probably wasn't true, Lucas had only learnt what he knew about medicine from the company as he reached up, carefully using the forceps to draw out her stitches one by one as he cut them slowly.

"Just be gentle doctor," Risa purred as she glanced coyly over her shoulder. She was beginning to feel more like herself physically and emotionally now that the elephant in the room had been taken care of. She trusted Lucas more than anyone and took him for his word. She knew he wouldn't hurt her. He had made his choice, she had made hers. It was them against the company. She could handle that as long as he had her back.

As he started to remove the stitches she hissed slightly, she always hated this part. It made her insides squirm and her skin crawl as each stitch was drawn from her flesh. Reaching back she rested her hand on his thigh, her fingers curling into the muscle as he worked. Removing the last stitch, he leaned forward, brushing his lips idly against her cheek as he pulled back the scissors and the forceps, moving to put them back into the medical kit as he glanced over at her. Once the last stitch was out she jumped up and rubbed her arms quivering slightly as she got rid of all her heebies and geebies at once. "Thank you," she was finally able to say as she looked back over to him and let out a sigh as she pulled her shirts back down into place. Now that they were out, she was able to move and twist some but she was still careful. A week laid up after a major surgery meant she still would need time but at least that part was now out of the way.

"Just don't go and screw it up again, alright? Life's boring for me if you're stuck laying around." Lucas chuckled softly, zipping up the Medical kit as he moved to put it away beside the bed. Walking over to the bed she smirked a bit as she looked over to him. "Yeah. sorry about that," Risa said as she looked down and rubbed the front of her chest a bit. She hadn't looked at the situation as if she had screwed up but she must have some where along the line if her cover was blown and she ended up nearly dead because of a bombing.

Glancing over to the bed, he smirked as he moved over to her, picking up the small Diamondback as he took a few steps around to her left. "I thought even a small-time crook would know that the small, concealable weapons always go to the far left of the play setting." He teased with a grin, flicking the slide back into place as he'd set it down on the other side of the weapons. Coming out of the daze she looked over to him and nodded slightly before taking a breath and going back to her thoughts as she went back to cleaning and securing the various pistols before her. She kept trying to figure out how her cover had been blown, she was always so careful.

He frowned at her as he stood alongside her. He could tell what must have been on her mind, it wasn't too hard to guess from the look in her eyes, the same one she got when she didn't quite understand something just yet. He'd been with her essentially the whole way, in his eyes, there was no way she could have screwed up which wouldn't have involved him, her cover couldn't have been blown if his was still intact, it just didn't make sense, there had to be some other explanation. Leaning over, he gently pressed his lips to her cheek, brushing them against her as he slowly pulled back, eyes watching her closely. "You did everything perfectly... None of this is on you." He assured her quietly.

Scott Fairburne

Location:AfterDark

Scott moved around the immediate area of the bar, going through his usual routine of cleaning and refilling a few drinks to Zoie's left and right, all the time remaining close enough to listen to her as she spoke. For a moment he went to ask what was making her nervous, but, half-expecting it to be somewhat related to the kind of business he avoided now, he bit his tongue, simply smiling over at her as she spoke up again, chuckling softly.

There was something about the question however that put Scott into the smallest state of unease. He doubted that Zoie exactly knew how he would take the question, it was essentially what he'd done, or rather, tried to do with coming to Justice, though he hadn't been able to avoid at least a little recognition, it happened in a place like this. He simply shrugged as he chuckled again, pleased as she seemed to wave off the answer and moved onto another question.

"Reminds me of Harlem a lot, particularly around here, but it's not too bad." He shrugged his shoulders, glancing around the bar to some of the patrons as he picked up an empty glass, starting to clean it out. "Plenty of decent women around, and most of the punks know to avoid a big man like myself." He chuckled again as he turned back toward her, shrugging.

I'm happy to hold it for now, for the time being until my exams are over I could use a break from at least one rp to be honest, but i'll be ready to get going again whenever.
Liam Matthews

Location: Aunt Sue's Inn #10
Interacting With: Aloise Zamora @Morose

Liam nodded his head once toward Aloise, watching as she moved to stand and started pouring a line of salt around them both, he recalled vaguely what it would be useful for, looking over her nose for a moment before she suddenly turned to face him, taking a step back as she questioned him. Being a prophet was not something that Liam was exactly used to yet, nor something he expected to get used to for some time, or more than likely, ever.

He scoured his mind, trying to think back through the visions, something which wasn't particularly easy to do considering the stressful situation he was in at that moment. Sighing, he reached up to rub his head gently, thinking for a few moments as he started to speak while he thought. "There was one, uhm... It was the doctor, Doctor Chang, with black eyes... A-and another of a church, there was uh... A young asian girl and the Reverend who died... Hiding from something with a blade, I think?"

Darren Andrews

Location: 1 Grant Road
Interacting With: Jade Cornish, Reverend Adder @Morose

Nodding his head toward Jade, Darren was pleased that the woman was relatively alright as she kicked the corpse somewhat, letting it stay there. However it was certainly not going to be everything yet as she motioned toward the woman in the corner. Looking over at Clarissa, Darren let out an irritated sigh as he glanced around for something good and heavy to use as a weapon, preferring to avoid using his gun again if he could.

He'd expected this one would be here for him, since the Reverend seemed to have been for Jade, but he was corrected as the woman quickly moved to attack Jade. Pausing for a moment, he glanced around and eventually settled on a metal poker by the fireplace, grabbing it and moving over as he swung the metal implement downward toward Clarissa's head, hoping the metal would do enough, or that her head might be quite as weak as the Reverend's was.

Javier Crypt

Location: Crypt Manor
Interacting With: Belladonna Crypt, @Lady Amalthea Zombies

The fighting continued as Javier kept carving his way through the army of bodies, still slicing limbs off as he went, listening as his beloved wife spoke up and sent a chill down his spine, only seeming to draw him more into the heat of battle however as he flourished his weapon around, scalping a fair few zombies as his gaze turned to see Mercurial thrown aside and hitting her head. Seeming rather displeased with this state of affairs, he continued to carve his way through, not needing the guide of his wife as he made his way over to her.

Reaching Mercurial, Javier reached down with his free hand, carefully lifting the girl up onto his back with her arms around his neck, gently holding her arms as he one-handed his weapon now, continuing to carve his way through with each movement as he let Belladonna work on her spell as always, hearing her words in Latin as he sighed almost nostalgically, enjoying the sound.

He smiled somewhat as she made her request, nodding his head toward her as he began to clear a path toward the exit along with her, stabbing and slicing away corpses as they made their way a little too close to himself or Mercurial as he pushed outside with Belladonna, allowing her to finish off her spell, setting Mercurial down and looking over her head wound carefully, tending to it though knowing it would be okay.
@Morose

Will be posting around when I get up in 8 hours or so, going to be better with posts now that my last report is done as well.
Jackson Tanner

Location: Outside

Jackson remained relatively quiet through the instance as he helped Anisa over to the com and let her speak up in a reply to Gene, hopefully recovering her wouldn't be too much of an issue, but the scenario they were in was progressively getting more and more complicated, and that served to only really concern Jackson as he continued to let the captain rest against him, sighing as he stood there, watching the others come out.

Looking over the box as Anisa took hold of it, he raised an eyebrow as he let her examine it at first, not realizing what it was until she turned it and showed the numbers to him. His gut sank down to his boots as he watched it, looking up to Dorothy for a moment as he remained rather silent, eventually turning his head to face Anisa as he sighed, nodding his head. "This could only be good." He said quietly, more to himself than anything.

Gregory Quinn

Location: Lounge (Sealed Off)

Finding himself mildly irritated by the tones of those he was with, Quinn remained silent as he watched the two until Jahosafat turned toward him. Sighing, he nodded his head once, turning his gaze toward Foy as he spoke up again. "I will volunteer for afterward, just ensure this doesn't take too long, doctor." He said plainly as he watched the man closely, turning his gaze toward the door as Carla moved in with the code he had provided.

Finally he felt more at ease, having the presence of someone he trusted, at least to a degree, as opposed to the two men he couldn't trust as far as he could flick a toenail. "Doctor Moreau has informed me of the experiments he is taking part in with us, considering their nature, I figured you will be the best equipped to ensure complete security for them, need be, he can fill you in on the specifics." Quinn said, glancing over to Jahosafat with a slight nod before turning back to Carla.

Joel Grau

Location: Best Exotic; Dining Hall -> Room 1
Interacting With: Claire @Lady Amalthea
Time/Date: Morning/August 2nd, 2016

Joel chuckled long and heartily as he poured his drink over Claire's head, he knew deep down it was a terrible idea, it would lead to a chase and quite possibly a fight that had the potential to make one hell of a mess, while likely spilling as little blood as possible. Hearing her words only set it off, another laugh escaping Joel as he turned his gaze to Desh. He certainly didn't need to be told twice as he was already sprinting off and out of the Dining Hall, realizing for a moment he had no idea where exactly to go, having certainly not had enough time to get to know the layout of the place.

He settled on the one room he actually knew which wasn't one currently occupied by the Irish woman now out for blood, sprinting down the hallway to his own room as he opened the door and moved inside, closing the door behind him as he stifled his laughter, hiding behind the door and blocking it with his body as he half expected her to start banging any moment later, that was if she didn't just come through the window - which was also a possibility, she never really gave up on getting revenge on him for things like this.
Harry Walsh

Location: Alf Leyla Salah at Opera Square

Harry watched Aziza closely as Lauren cleaned her up, keeping an eye on her the whole time as she took the stone from his fingers. He expected it to be something bad, from the look on his face as he knew that his assumption was correct. He moved closer to her then as she shook somewhat, a frown clear on his face as he reached over, gently setting a reassuring hand on his shoulder. He'd seen fear like this a hundred times, though it was usually far more than words which conjured it. He sighed as he knelt down closer to her height as she sat, trying to give her a reassuring look.

"Things are going to okay, don't worry." He said quietly, he wasn't sure how much it would help but it was something. "I'll stick with you if it'll make you feel safer, and we can talk to the police, if they won't help I have friends in the British Garrison." He assured her as she moved to try and stand, moving with her as he kept his hand on her shoulder gently in a caring manner. "You should be careful, maybe you should stay somewhere other than your home, tonight."

William Drake

Location: Egyptian Museum

William smirked as he watched Vera closely, hearing her immediately hiss back toward him again. He kept his triumphant look until he felt a heel slam into his foot, letting out a long and pained groan as he clenched his fists. "Why you lit-" He bit his tongue so he didn't go off on a tirade of curses, forcing himself to deal with the sudden aching in his foot as well as he was able to as he listened to her go on. He knew some of what she discussed, others were new to him. He did notice her gaze as it shifted over to him though, smirking as he saw the pink tinge to her cheeks before she looked away.

The look only further bolstered his confidence, as always the Scoundrel was convinced he knew of her feelings, she only continued to show it to him. If it weren't for the relative importance of their discussion and company, he would have pointed it out or said something, but for now he bit his tongue, simply listening again until she asked her question. Turning his gaze to Reginald as he spoke, William nodded and considered his own answer before he spoke up. "It wasn't long ago for me either, I thought it was mostly the drinking after I arrived, though." He chuckled in a self-amused manner.

Small update guys: I'm currently swamped with work around my last major paper for the year, and as a result my posting has been severely delayed. So to not stress you guys, i'm going to be waiving post timers for a short while until I can get into a flow better. For now, post at your leisure, and timers will be fully reset when I next post.
