Current Getting new RP ideas is agonizing when you realize you need to shelf them until you're less busy.

Harry Walsh

Location: Streets of Cairo -> Qasr El Nil Barracks: Stables

Harry smiled softly towards Aziza as she spoke, her confidence in him was comforting, if not daunting. He had every intention of keeping Aziza safe on their expedition, and indeed for whatever other things were to come, but Harry knew better than most that sometimes good intentions were certainly not enough. His mind went back to the war as they made their way back to the barracks, and as they began to continue along to the barracks Harry found himself following mindlessly, his thoughts far away as he lingered on memories better left forgotten.

He had seen youthful boys come and go, he had seen men die moments after arriving on the front, or days before they went home. In his earliest days he had assured all those under his command that he would do everything in his power to ensure their safety, to ensure their safe return home at the end of the war. By the last few months of the war he had stopped making such a promise, he knew he could not keep it then, and the pain of failing each time one of his fellows fell would have consumed him otherwise. Harry was oblivious of the grim demeanour that had crossed his face, sighing as he continued to make his way to the stables with Aziza, but she would likely recognize it with ease, it was the same look he had had the night before when his thoughts returned to the war. It was a look of pain, of regret.

William Drake

Location: The Egyptian Museum

It took every ounce of William's willpower to retain his mask of calm until Vera left the room, and the moment she did it took that same willpower not to smash the closest thing in sight. He fought back a pang of rage, fury and frustration boiling in him. William was a scoundrel, a liar, a bastard even, he had never spoken to anyone in his life the way he had just spoken to Vera. He had poured his heart out, into his hands and he had offered to her, and she had spat and stomped on it like it was a kind of sick joke. William's anger hardly held, and before long he threw a few tomes as hard as he could across the room, not caring for the damage he caused as he clenched his fists.

Finding a chair nearby, he sat and put his head in his hands, running his fingers through his hair and gripping it tightly, struggling not to tear it out as the frustration, the anger, and the sorrow tore through him, attacking every fiber of his being. He had spent his life steeling himself, never had William opened himself up so much and he knew now the reason why, it hurt in the kind of way that was unfathomable to explain. Sighing as he lingered on the pain in his heart, he sat in silence, all other desires or thoughts purged from his mind as he sat in agonizing silence.
Darren Andrews

Location: Coventry Circus Grounds, Main Tent
Interacting With: Everyone in the Circus Tent, Aloise Zamora @Morose

Darren kept his gaze intently on Aloise as she shook her head, glancing up toward Eudora for a moment before looking over to those who had gone to deal with the lights. He had no clue what it was that she was trying to say, but he figured it had something to do with the lights. Looking up to the lights, he had to squint at just how bright they were, his gaze shifting over to Lilith as she stood over by the controls, trying to piece together in his mind what it could have been that Aloise was trying to indicate.

The lights clearly had some importance, they had been used to take down the barrier, but for what effect he didn't know. Could it have been that the lights were somehow going to help Hel's power grow? He was unsure, ideas racing through his mind as he looked back to Aloise, taking the flask from in his jacket and holding it out to her. The whiskey within would likely burn but he figured the liquid may help her dried up throat. "What is it with the lights? What do we need to do?"

James Murphy

Location: Coventry Circus Grounds
Interacting With: Everyone in the Circus Tent, Jade Cornish @Morose

James raised an eyebrow as he listened to each of the voicemails on his phone, one after another. He kept his weapon trained on the Mullo, watching as it reached Katsumi, but then watching as it seemed to fall and crawl. The fact that it actually seemed to have been hurt was reassuring, comforting even, if it could be hurt, then it could be killed. He didn't fire at it, knowing that he could possibly hit anyone nearby, and as the messages finished coming, he looked back to his phone.

He didn't know how Edwina might have been tracking him, but he didn't care at that point, someone who knew more about what was going on than him was better than another monster, so he typed in Jade's number. Raising his phone back to his ear, he sighed and waited for her to answer, speaking before she could get a word in edge-ways. "No time to explain, Coventry Circus Grounds, monsters to kill."
Wtf is going on in this town?

@Mike73

You can keep it as is or just retcon if you like, i'm fine either way. Probably makes more sense if they didn't sit down and start their conversation, though.

Update is finally up friends, for the sake of ease I'm going to be giving a total counter reset to anyone who was on 5 days plus on their counters, but this will likely be the last one of these I make for a while outside of strenuous circumstances.

The Lumber Mill: One by one, each of Alice's bullets slammed into the body of her attacker. He stumbled back, blood dripping down onto the the road beneath his feet as he dropped his axe to one hand. He took one more step forward, then another, before the man dropped to a knee. He looked up towards Alice then, looking tied and in pain, all before his eyes blinked and turned a deep black, a smile beginning to split his lips as he moved to stand once more. With a tremendous amount of force, the man brings up his foot in a kick, the force of it sending Alice flying back into a nearby tree, luckily she keeps hold of her gun, and her injuries are minor, but the man is making his way back toward her, black-eyed and unphased by his injuries. As Mariana comes out, she can't quite see the black eyes of the man, but she can see him walking towards the now-downed officer, axe in his hand.

P&W's Diner: Outside P&W's, the parking lot is full, it seems plenty of people had decided to make their way to the diner after the meeting. However, as the girls move inside, they are assaulted by a horrifying smell, and an even more horrid sight. Bodies litter the diner, in the seats and the booths, food is scattered everywhere and covers the faces and hands of almost every individual. Pills and medicine are scattered on the floor, ultimately, the place looks like the sight of some horrible, fatal food frenzy. Everything seems to have only occurred recently, but there is the unmistakable scent from outside the community center, mixed in with the smell of food and death.

August Street: The woman that Jennifer approached seemed to be recovering relatively quickly from her encounter. Though initially, her breathing was quick and panicked, it has already begun to calm down, and as she watched Jennifer move closer, he reached out in a gentle calming motion, almost trying to help relax the nurse instead. "I'm okay, he just offered me a ride and then attacked me out of nowhere..." She explained in almost a meek tone, running a hand through her hair as she nodded. The woman herself seems relatively okay, aside from a few grazes and cuts on her hands, elbows and jaw. "I should be okay, I just want to get home, can you walk me to my car? It's just around the corner." The girl already moved to stand, before she stopped herself. "Oh, I'm Lauren, thanks for uh, trying to help..." Overall, she appears to have been taking her attack rather well.

Donald Baker

Location: Silver Falls Community Center

Donald kept his gaze on Scarlett after he had dismissed her, curious to see if she would proffer any reaction other than the kind he had expected. He found himself with a general sense of unease about her, but he held back his desire to learn what more she could have been hiding. As she walked off, he let out a sigh and glanced back towards Richard then, almost giving a half-hearted shrug as if to apologize for the way she had been acting, as if it were somehow Donald's responsbility.

He couldn't help but chuckle at the professor's words, but shook his head at the man's question. "I don't believe I do for now, but if you recall anything more detailed about Lucy's interest in the book of revelations, or see anything odd, I'd appreciate you stopping by the sherrif's office." The smile on Donald's face held an almost childish naivety. As he stood there speaking with the professor and Scarlett, he had been oblivious to the messages which had failed to reach his phone, of the horrors that were beginning to spread through town.

Of the hell which had become Silver Falls.
Alrighty, i've recovered from my exam - working on the update now.
Got the first of my finals today, then I'll be posting the update tonight.
Aedan Merryn

Location: The Kingdom of Abhainn
Interacting With: Julianna Hardin @HushedWhispers

The journey into the heart of the Kingdom of Abhainn was not one that Aedan had ever expected to make without an army at his back, but it would have been foolhardy to suggest that Aedan was not pleased to be making such a journey. He had spent most of his life at war against Abhainn, and while once the lord had held a fire in his heart and a hate-fuelled rage against the Abhainnian people, many battles and scars had caused that all to fade away. Now, the general was tired, and though he knew in his heart that this peace was likely not one to last the test of time, it would at the very least allow for some respite and put an end to the constant fighting that he had been taking part in.

As the castle grew nearer ahead, Aedan urged his horse to canter up towards the front so he would be nearer to Julianna's carriage. He arrived only shortly after the carriages came to a stop, climbing down from his horse and handing the reigns off to one of his men as he moved up to see the members of the royal family. As he heard Julianna's voice heading past him, he paused and turned to face her, giving her a gentle nod but holding back his smile for a time. As she moved toward Maddox, Aedan turned back towards the men outside who had escorted them on their journey. He preferred to busy himself helping and giving them orders than simply watching, and feeling the eyes of the Abhainnian nobility upon him.

He was grateful for the fact he was not in his armour, he had brought it certainly, but knew that arriving in his armour would certainly not set the best foot forward considering the reason for their journey. Instead he wore the leathers he would usually wear beneath such armour, removing the gloves from his hands as he ordered a few of his guards to oversee the servants bringing the royal's items to their rooms. He knew that outside of his armour only a few Abhainnians would likely know of him, but with the crowd of nobles who were watching them, he figured some word may spread quickly.

Almost subconsciously, he reached up and idly touched the scar along the side of his face, glancing back towards the crowd that had gathered finally. He wondered if she was among them. Though he and Abhainn's famous battle-maiden had met many times on the field, they had never spoken outside taunting and threats, as was the way in war. Now that there was peace, even if perhaps just a temporary one, he couldn't help but hold the desire to learn who she truly was.

He sighed and shook the thought from his head, finally turning away from his guards as he moved back up towards the royals, pointedly choosing to stand a few feet back from them all. Aedan was a man who held true to his position, regardless of how much it caused his king irritation. He knew his place all too well and he would always keep to it. Always just the loyal soldier.
Did I say tonight? I meant tomorrow, I'm a wreck.
