erikh"Just loosen the screw up here. . ." Tymea muttered as she was focused on a small item in her hands. Various tools were spread on her workbench as she looked over the tiny thing. A small project, the device was suppose to work as a life sign detector that alerted to incoming life signatures. Of course, it wasn't something that would work in theory. It simply was just something to kill time and keep her hands and mind busy while they waited for the next unexpected attack. "Now, what if I tinker with this for a little bit. . ." She toyed with some of the parts and fiddle with the programming a little. Adjusting the sensor to reach outside the ship and not inside. "Now, let's reseal the item. . ." Blip, blip, blip. "YEA! It's responding to something!" Tyrea cheered aloud as the device made small little sounds. The little screen displayed blips like a sonar map. . . A little under a dozen dots! Wait. . . "That's just us." She couldn't help but sigh at her failure. "Guess I could try to fix--"
"ALERT. ALERT. ENEMY SPACECRAFTS DETECTED."
This completely took Tymea off-guard. "GYAAAAAAA!" She exclaimed, so into her thoughts that when the warning came up she completely wasn't expecting it. The Life Detector flew out of her hand and crashed against the wall with a smack then falling and cracking on the floor all the while she was falling backwards toward the open floor. When she stood back up, Tymea finally noticed the damaged device and couldn't help but freeze. . . "Wissenschaft verdammt!" She exclaimed when she came out of her short-lived paralyzed state. With little reason to stay around, Tymea dragged herself to the bridge trying to rebuild her outward persona on the way.
On arrival. . . Well, somehow the only people ahead of her were the Captain himself and Meghan. "Captain, Meghan. . ." Tymea muttered. A small yet sly smile crossed her face as she continued, "Blast those enemies of Science to smithereens for me!" Confidence was abound on her face as if she were going to start shooting the on-board weapons herself. Not that having her do that would be a good idea anyhow, probably.
